Reviews for Circus Circus Reno

Review 1:Should identify all veterans. I am disable veteran & parking spaces for wheel-chair were limited. Note: at the front desk receptionists should ask at check-in if disable-veteran preference parking or disable parking is needed. Although I look young I am indeed disable veteran visiting from Florida. Other than that everything when well in my stay.

Review 2:location of the property & pretty good looking structure.

Review 3:The Rooms were very roomy, great shows and even though there was a power serge and we had no television first night the hotel staff was very informative and sincere about the situation. They got up as soon as the could. Very pleased overall

Review 4:Bed was uncomfortable. Moving too much and too soft. Elevator is too far to go to restaurants and to bring a child on a stroller to walk around the premises.

Review 5:all three casinos are very old and outdated they need renovation big time all rooms including Casino smells like a hundred year old ashtray with Febreze over it. all my clothes and stuff smell like cigarettes when I came home.please allow the guest to open the room window for fresh air.

Review 6:checking in was pleasant only time I had any interaction with staff

Review 7:I felt like I was in a cheap run down motel, worse than the econo lodge. You guys need to clean the place up, beds, decor, everything seems to just be repainted to look presentable. I will not return. I will go to the silver legacy or el dorado or the nugget.

Review 8:Nothing. The only plus was being able to walk to the other casinos

Review 9:No fridge, missing light bulbs, TV was out, ice machine was broken, staff was not friendly, not very good blankets, heater took a long time.

Review 10:Beds were soft.

Review 11:Never liked the smell of smoke on the check in area

Review 12:Top floors have a beautiful day and night views of the silver legacy and city of reno. Nice circus circus connected with the silver legacy and the Eldorado.

Review 13:I waited an hour to get down the elevator and then decided to walk 28 floors down with all my baggage online when I booked said there would be A refrigerator in room there wasn't and I was supposed to be close to casino and someone scratch down the side of my truck

Review 14:the bed was nice

Review 15:The time it took to check-in and the front desk not returning the message left to provide us with a rolling mattress which was part of the original request when we booked our stay

Review 16:It's connected to two other hotels

Review 17:Hair dryer was puny. I have long hair, along with my wife, daughter and her friend. The hair dryer could not work fast enough. Thermostats were difficult to work and the ac/heat units were loud as hell.

Review 18:(Mini suite, living room and bedroom - nonsmoking) TVs were nice, HD. Beds, bathroom and space were clean.

Review 19:The heater in the room was noisy. Slight smell of smoke because of the casino.

Review 20:Room was a good size. Proximity to a good brew pub and other restaurant options without having to go outside. Easy to get to and from the car in the parking lot.

Review 21:No microwaves in the rooms we got and we required them at booking due to our small children

Review 22:Even there is a poor property the location is downtown of city and everything is close by

Review 23:Rooms are not equipped with toothbrush, toothpaste. Let a little inconvenience.

Review 24:The hotel's location is very good, from the highway near, can be very many parking spaces. Entertainment, food and other integrated settings.

Review 25:No big towels to take a shower.... Have maps or papers whit places were to go for kids to have fun with the snow

Review 26:You should have free breakfast or at a low cost.... cheap motel have free breakfast....this is a nice Hotel....everything everything else he wants nice.....

Review 27:They gave is the highest room which I did not mind. When I asked how do I get there the receptionist who helped me just said go straight and turn left. Did not tell me which room exactly or floor I should go. And the ticket said 25..what help is that I was lost with my 2 year old and husband

Review 28:No comforter on the bed no fan in the bathroom service was horrible and I was overcharged

Review 29:The location was about the only thing I liked about Circus Circus

Review 30:Children shouting and playing loudly in the room next to me early in the morning. Should have a location for family & children be a few floors or a tower. This is also a hotel for adults

Review 31:Rooms were noise cause by air conditioner, bed sheets were dirty. Most importantly Circus Circus over charged me $41.32, tried to work with Manaher named "Anilyn" when I checked out the hotel however she wasn't help at all .

Review 32:None

Review 33:The front desk clerk that checked us in her name was Anna, was horrible. We could barely understand a word she said. It was very frustrating she had to keep repeating herself because I was not understanding her. She seemed like a nice person but she is in the wrong spot. I left shaking my head and was like Wow that was a painful check in. The bed in our room really needed to be updated. It was extremely uncomfortable and you could tell it was a very old bed.

Review 34:The price. The location worked well for us. The view from our room was stunning and our room was clean.

Review 35:The shower head was low. Spray's into your chest. I am average height.

Review 36:Prime location for my needs, close to midtown, and outer areas so I could visit friends.

Review 37:Well it wasn't Circus Circus fault but they had a group of kids teenagers or young people that were running up and down the halls yelling and screaming we were trying to sleep because we had to go to work the next day but it was ridiculous so I called security and it quieted down after that so thank you for the security not much sleep that night

Review 38:The facility was very nice the room is nice could use more soap and shampoo for having 2 queen size bed and one bottle of soap 1 bar soap was not enough

Review 39:Fitness Center. Outdated. i had problems with 2 treadmills. Maintenance came immediately and put them out of order. On one I was feeling an electrical poke. The other would stop, I would have to push enter. to get it going again. I would rate the fitness center as poor to marginal. I was glad to have the center in building.

Review 40:Low rate. Staff was acommodating.

Review 41:Circus Circus was sold by MGM and I got caught in the transfer. No TV for 24 hours, and I needed it for local news. I hope they can fix these "glitches".

Review 42:Staff were pleasant and definitely want to please. Tech people were most helpful in helping me connect to the internet and stay connected.

Review 43:I didn't like that the windows couldn't crack open. The windows had a terrible wind noise comming trough it. It was a windy morning but if you can't open it I would like it if it wouldn't leak air.

Review 44:I liked I had a nice room with a view of downtown.

Review 45:No vent in the bathroom, poor lighting in the bathroom, poor room temperature control, extremely poor wifi connectivity even WITH paid premium service (signals dropped, slooow speed). Only basic network TV channels available for free, remote difficult to understand. Room overlooked view of Casino roof (really ugly). Fitness center very limited (bring money to buy water). Save money on room but spend it for everything else you need!

Review 46:Room was clean and very roomy and at least during our stay (Monday-Thursday) it was quiet.

Review 47:the people in the room next to us were very loud and the kids cried through out the night and i think they lived in the room, could here them talking about going to work and the dude was vacuuming in the hall with no shirt and both mornings there was garbage bags in the hall by the the door.very loud people...and so far they haven't resolved the issue of being overcharged for the room.

Review 48:the bed was good the front desk staff was nice

Review 49:My room smelled like smoke and I asked for non smoking and there was a family next door that made way too much noise and kids. Wer knocking on are door trying to open the connecting door to the rooms

Review 50:It was a great location and good price

Review 51:We were made to move our room because the Sky Tower was closing for remodeling. We had problems with a maid who wouldn't clean our room with us in it!

Review 52:We liked the location of the Hotel to where we needed to go be during our stay.

Review 53:Check-in was a nightmare. I didn't like how the vip check-in wouldnot help out when they didn't have anyone in their line. Just satand chatted with each other. They should have helped out the super longline the understaffed regular check-in counter had to deal with.

Review 54:The room was much nicer than I expected it to be.

Review 55:Don't published something that you don't give to the guess. Please respect the promotion. Don't matter if I order with another website or direct with circus circus hotel.

Review 56:Please make sure if I reserved non smoking room with 2 bed tha's what I want. The Cashier asking for more money.

Review 57:I Satisfied in everything thank you.

Review 58:The service were excellent valet park, customer service, housekeeping, janitor, front desk, every person in there was very helpful thank you.

Review 59:The only drawback is there is no fan in the bathrooms, especially in the smoking rooms. This is a must to have. With the windows being locked a fan is mandatory.

Review 60:The Staff was great. Friendly and nice. I asked for room supplies and received them without a problem. Circus Circus being attached to the Silver Legacy and The Eldorado Hotels are a great plus. All the carnival activities and shows were a pleasure and fun for adults as well.

Review 61:Beds slope off so sitting on the corners you fall off the bed. No frig or microwaves in the rooms.

Review 62:Easy access to the Midway for the kids and fairly quiet.

Review 63:Only thing I didn't like was the information couldn't conect to the WiFi at all

Review 64:Price was perfect. Room was big and very clean. We checked other hotels but circus had the best price. Plus we played at a black jack machine that only circus had.

Review 65:I really wanted to watch the UFC 193 fight in the Circus Circus Hotel Casino area, but it was not being shown. I had to walk down the street and pay at Harrah's to watch it.

Review 66:i liked how simple the property was to move around in. Check in was fast and easy too.

Review 67:The restaurant service was HORRIBLE almost every time we ate. We only had one waitress for our stay that was great. All the rest were horrible. They clearly hated their jobs, it was hard to find them and we always had to wait long times to get orders, food and bills. I was quite shocked on how bad the service was each time.

Review 68:Great spot. We had a room at the very end of floor 27. Had a fabulous view. Room was nice and spacious. The lady who checked us in was very nice and gave us a coupon for free drinks and desert since it was our birthday.

Review 69:I THOUGHT THE CLEANING AS LESS THAN STELLER. I FELT OUR ROOM WAS "NOT" CLEAN. THE SOFA NEEDED A "GOOD" CLEANING. THE BATHROOM FLOOR WAS ALSO DIRTY.

Review 70:NOTHING

Review 71:Porters at the front lobby(hotel staff) giving customer service and or direccion to hotel.

Review 72:During our stay at the circus circus.. hotel both of the nights. A lot of disturbing from next door neighbor late at night, smell of weed and possibly alcohol beverages as well couple had a strong argument. No Security presents.

Review 73:It needs an upgrade. The elevators, carpet, parking garage, transit system to the towers and casino itself is so run down. the gym is itsy bitsy and do you have a pool? Didn't see one, but it's probably run down

Review 74:The room was nice and I like that it has a casino and everything attached.

Review 75:Waiting an hour to register was AWFUL and WORSE with Nothing to drink and no where to sit for persons with physical impairment. Being a CC Member meant NOTHING to employees while Registering BUT IF you had a COMP ROOM Special FAST TRAC! Towers felt FAR AWAY. The bed was way too jiggly similar to very OLD style mattress. Hate coffee delivered in Plastic. Off-site IT need more training ref Hotel Policy.

Review 76:Access to other locations very GOOD. Tram makes room location acceptable. Easy check out. Convenience Store b4 Tram FANTASTIC. The STEAKHOUSE Rest. FOOD & SERVICE WONDERFUL! Like CC there for families. Fast AND Kind Room Service. Best Rm prices but not equal quality. Good sized room & bath.

Review 77:pretty spread out - but everything is!

Review 78:Good location, free shuttle to airport, room was clean spacious and comfortable. Free wifi worked well for my needs, as I had to do some remote business while there.

Review 79:The high tax added to the cost of rooms.

Review 80:Parking was real good. The room was real nice, clean, with really comfortable beds. We left a jacket in the closet, it was returned to our home address at no cost to us we really think the did a great service.

Review 81:The place was old, I could hear the people staying on both of the rooms,Elevators weren't working properly, I have to walk a lot from the main lobby to the sky tower.

Review 82:It was well located with free parking and valet parking. Friendly staff.

Review 83:Couldn't find an elevator to take me & luggage to north garage & unpleasant staff member & reception who told me to use escalator; I had luggage and a senior & I needed an elevator to the garage

Review 84:The open & clean room

Review 85:none...............

Review 86:Lorretta from the daily drawing at 7PM chased me down after I left with 1 ticket when actually I had 4,great person...everyone from the registration clerk to the valet service was very nice and friendlycan't forget the maid service!!!

Review 87:I didn't like the fact that I payed 100 dollars more for the exact same Room that my cousins got. Very very unacceptable. I'll never stay there again.

Review 88:I was charged 100 dollars more than my cousins that stayed next door to me. I got my room 2 weeks prior and they got theirs the night before. That is completely unacceptable.

Review 89:Don't like all the smoking. Didn't like standing in line for 45 minutes to check-in. More staff should have been working.

Review 90:We had free parking. It was close enough to the event we were attending. The room was clean and fresh smelling.

Review 91:Room was terrible seems like it has never been updated, beds were very uncomfortable, linen was cheap. Checkin was horrible, the reservation was under my husband's name, I got there earlier than him and they would not let me check in.

Review 92:Did not like anything much

Review 93:Bed had bad odor. Found out when packing to leave that their was a LARGE dried pile of BLOOD on the mattress.

Review 94:It was connected to the El Dorado and Silver Legacy.

Review 95:I had an issue with the fact that when I showed up after I had paid for the room through booking.com they wanted to charge me or did charge me an additional $12 then when I went to check out it said that I'd only paid $78 for the room and that's with the $12 surcharge was for but I had actually paid $89 through booking.com so I feel like I may have been charged the $12 twice . Normally would have gone down to the front desk to discuss that but because of the fact that I had lost my father the previous weekend I really wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone face-to-face over $12. But I do feel that I was overcharged

Review 96:The location was perfect for what we came to Reno for which was a show at the Silver Legacy.

Review 97:Tub drain backed up with water. Long wait for elevators. Noisy showers from neighboring rooms. Thin walls. Steak house closed too early.

Review 98:The buffet.

Review 99:The room was very outdated. We were told it was a non-smoking room, but the room smelled like a dirty ashtray

Review 100:It was right downtown, which was nice because we could walk a lot if places.

Review 101:the beds could do with memory foam toppers.

Review 102:Circus Circus is always a crazy trip.. But the buffet dinners and general craziness make for an entertaining stay!

Review 103:Long wait for check-in as it was busy (Labor day weekend). Would have really appreciated online check-in or kiosk to pick up room keys. No pool.

Review 104:Clean spacious comfortable rooms. Early check-in/ late check-out times + you can usually check-out a couple of hours later for a reasonable fee. Free covered parking which is good for large vehicles (we had a 15 seater cargo van). Sushi bar/Geckos for food/beer. This time, our room had a good view.

Review 105:Staff tried to charge my card twice I was left without money. To load my car I was told to move to the parking garage. Wouldn't let me borrow a cart so I could unload or load my car. I had to leave my seminar early to check out. The my key card wouldn't work at 10:30 in the morning checkout day! Too many things that went wrong I was very upset

Review 106:The bed

Review 107:Expensive for what it was (during Reno weekend). Old, tired property that needs complete renovation. Holes in sheets. Old linen and towels.

Review 108:Wifi worked ok. Quiet. Bed was quite comfortable. Reasonably priced breakfast buffet.

Review 109:The mattress was not very comfy and not enough blankets.

Review 110:The room was the perfect size for me and my husband. Great big flatscreen tv a plus for my husband, in room coffee maker a bigger plus forme. It had all the amenities mention. Ironing board with iron, hairdryer, toiletries, plenty of towels, bath tissue, cups for coffee andfor other drinks. The mattress was not very comfy and I could of useanother blnket since my husband ran the a/c unit day and night. Butthats an easy fix just call housekeeping and they will bring you anotherone or two. Plenty of pillows for two people(4). The bathroom could ofused a little more attention, there was a razor cover left from theprevious guest but not a big deal. We stayed in a smoking room and hiusekeeping did a great job of making the room smell freash after it wasserviced. The slots didnt pay to well but it was fun. This is one of theonly casinos that has quarter machines that still spits out actualquarters rhat was fun watching my machine unload 680 quarters. I willdefinatly stay there again if the price is right.

Review 111:Poor internet, lots of electrical & TV problems in room, hotel seemed very dated. Too many steps up and down.

Review 112:Good location. Excellent weekend Breakfast buffet

Review 113:Room it's old, need upgrade badly, wallpaper pealing, mattress old and housekeeping didn't even vacuum the carpet, love to see improvements in facilities and more training in housekeeping services

Review 114:Location it's great

Review 115:We had to switch rooms at 11:00 pm because of water leak. We had ridden 10 hours that day and had already unpacked our bags just to have to repack and move to another room. For $150 a night that was unacceptable. Then there was a bug of some sort in the bathroom. Will not recommend.

Review 116:The Location to the rally was perfect.

Review 117:The room's shower curtain did not go to the floor so the water wouldgo out of the wheelchair ramp opening to the bathroom floor requiringmore towels then we had. The beds were not the best; awake several timesthrough the night. Shower head would not stay locked in to the pole soit would slip down during the shower.

Review 118:That they were able to clear up the Booking.com mess, we wanted theNorth tower but, booking.com had us in the West tower were bus toursstay. They moved us to an ada room; see "don't like".

Review 119:Can't find anything that we didn't like

Review 120:I like the location we didn't need to use our car everything was walking distance, the room was perfect it was our 40th wedding anniversary and we enjoy everything, can't wait to stay there again.

Review 121:Housecleaning would stop us in the morning if she saw us in the hall and want to know if we wanted the room clean and when we would be leaving in the morning so she could clean. We were not checking out and she did this every day. I also heard her doing the same to other guests. Also the Buffet was not so good.

Review 122:Casino- I like slots, Circus has some of the older versions, and some new as well. Nice mixture. And still a few coin slots.

Review 123:Trouble with TV. Kept shutting off or going to sleep when watching it or even loosing connection and having to have it reset. Did not have a breakfast that came with room. So I'm not sure what you are asking for when you want info about the breakfast

Review 124:Nice rooms

Review 125:Distance to room, not many payouts on machines

Review 126:Lots of reasonably priced food options, staff were polite mostly, room was always cleaned thoroughly, good atmosphere.

Review 127:The beds were uncomfortable, the flooring in the bathroom was ripped in places, the carpet was old and stained, the bathroom calking was moldy.

Review 128:The cost of the rooms.

Review 129:Courteous registration attendants and cleaning staff. They didn't enter my room when I indicated not to. Enjoyed the food at the Americano Cafe and it's ample helpings.

Review 130:Wife was greatly embarrassed when she was buying drink and snacks to bring to room, she had a 100 dollar bill from 1981 pre 100 dollar strip cashier use pen to see if the bill was a counterfeit it was not she called security had my wife escorted through the casino to what they call the cage and detained till they verify the money . That ruin the whole evening will never stay there again .

Review 131:Close to where we were going

Review 132:I did not like the check in process. Check in was 3PM, I called ahead since I knew we would arrive around 2PM. They said we could check in but when we arrived the line was 30 people deep (I am not exaggerating). There were 3 people of front to check in but there should have been more probably starting around 1-4pm.

Review 133:I love the location and huge parking structure right next door.

Review 134:Dirty, run down and old. Sitting on the beds felt like you were sitting on mud. There was hair scattered through the bathroom.

Review 135:Nothing. It was closest to the Hot Air Balloon race.

Review 136:Pathetic internet service. SLOW, and they want to squeeze you for money if you want more speed. This hotel must be owned by Harry Reid.

Review 137:Parking is convenient.

Review 138:No 24hour room service and having to trek through a maze of gambling halls at 2am to find food after a late check in was not very enjoyable. Even when finding one place still serving in an adjoining complex the service was so slow it took me over an hour to get take out!

Review 139:After a week in the desert a shower and bed were just what I needed.

Review 140:Check in at 1500 was very long. I had just had an injection in my back and the 30 minutes standing in line was hell. But once I got thru the line and to my room all was great. Just figuring out how to watch regular TV was the pits.

Review 141:The Valet I met upon arrival was absolutely great! Helpful, handy, kind, funny, personable.

Review 142:Our room was very clean however the hall ways all need to have a vacuum attachment wall cleaning. All along the walls and corners looked very dusty/dirty

Review 143:Location for balloon races, we walked to the park. Room was large and comfortable.

Review 144:Under staffed, poor attitude of staff. One waitress grabbed my fiance's arm and said " I'm trained to help the elderly." Very rude!!! Food court closed?? What's up with that??
