Review 20：The Atlantis staff was friendly and the room was sparkling clean. I love the options offered for pillows, the buckwheat hull pillow was a surprise option. This was the first time I spent Christmas in a hotel and was not sure how that would be. It turned out to be a positive time. I enjoyed the decorations and the valet was a life saver due to the cold icey weather.

Review 21：No robe in the room; had to ring housekeeping - got an apology but still. Could have had extra pillows; non-smoking room BUT there are ashtrays on the floor and waiting for the elevator, there was a smoker puffing away.

Review 24：The staff is very friendly and helpful, from check-in to valet to restaurant servers. Very different from Las Vegas and other resorts. Bistro Napa had excellent food and fantastic service, and some of the best bouillabaisse I've ever tasted. My kids loved the indoor pool, and my wife enjoyed the spa very much. Tahoe snow and ski slopes are very close, only 45 minutes away!

Review 25：No fridge in the room, the smell of cigarettes is thoroughly disgusting all over the hotel on any floor. It's not obvious based on the pictures and the hotel overview that the spa facilities are to be paid for and not cheap at all.

Review 32：We tried the indoor pool since it was cold outside, the temperature was good but we were itching after a while. The room we stayed was connecting to a room they did a paint job. It took management almost 45 mins to come and confirm that there was an odor problem so we were in our room broiling in the stench for that time. It was a good thing we opened the door since our heads were spinning already with the door open.

They did honor the complimentary breakfast for 2 out of 3 days as one of the day's was a holiday and therefore a blackout day for comp breakfasts. Not sure if this is a common occurrence with Booking.com Also, the hotel should not allow smoking in the hallways close to where people stay in their rooms as smoke gets into the "smoke-free" rooms and is very unhealthy

Review 45：Our check in time was estimated at 5-6 p.m. We arrived at 4 and were told that they were almost sold out and could only offer us a handicapped room. We were also told (through Booking.com) that we would be offered $20 off our dining, but no one knew anything about that. They expressed that they did not like it that we had booked through Booking.com

We were also bummed that we didn't get a king bed like we'd reserved online through Booking.com- but the queen bed was more comfortable than expected.

Then she took us personally to the elevators. She was very sweet! We loved our hotel room. Clean, modern, comfy. We also loved the robes and slippers.

Review 73：The only complaint I could make would pertain to all casinos. They have to make them non smoking. Getting around to the shops, the restaurants, the buffet you have to go through clouds of smoke. The food areas especially should not be open to smoking areas.

The shower had really good water pressure. There was a large flat screen tv on the wall across from the bed with very good picture quality. All the employees were helpful and friendly. The casino was large,modern and clean. The buffet was reasonable and had a good selection of food. The service at the Napa Bistro restaurant was excellent and they had a great happy hour too. The casino was nicer than the ones we went to in Tahoe.
