Review 1：Room 202 has very loud fridge. Room smaller than expected, but was sufficient.

Review 3：Parking lot was small, so we walked everywhere because we didn't want to lose our spot. Room was small and shower water pressure could've been better. Walls seemed thin because you could hear everything outside. Breakfast was really bad. Sausage was still pink, 2% milk tasted like water, no cream cheese for hard bagels, and orange juice tasted sour.

Review 5：You do get what you pay for. The rooms are very small and hard to move around in. Staff was hard to understand, but pleasant at least. The one thing I hated the most was the beds because I felt like I was sleeping on a rock and it squeaked so much!

Review 13：Other residents talked loudly outside our room from midnight to 3 am ... staff did nothing to stop them, although they admitted the next morning they heard that loud talking. The talking stopped after I (kept wake for 3 hrs) hollered at them from an open window.

Review 24：While amenities were present, the execution left something to be desired: the refrigerator was loud, the microwave could not be opened in its cubby, the hot water boiler leaked, most of the listed channels on the TV were locked, no hot water at breakfast (although food was good), Wifi often cut out, etc. Ok for my business trip but not recommended for a vacation.
Review 25：The location (and parking) on University Ave is very convenient to UCB and the LBNL. The bed was comfortable and, after unplugging the fridge, the room was dark and quiet.
Review 26：Right from the onset, when I arrived, after booking my room online, there were problems. After booking online only an hour or so before, I arrived to them saying that they had no booking from me. The gentleman looked at me blankly and as if annoyed, just shook his shoulders after I told him I booked online through bookings.com. So I then suggested that I would call the site. The site then had to call the hotel, call me back, then fax paperwork of the transaction so that he could manually enter it in. It took about 20 to 30 min. To make matters worse, before booking my room, I had placed a telephone call to see if it was possible to check in early, in which they responded that it would be fine to check in by noon. After commuting all the way there they proceeded to tell me that there would be no room would be available for another hour or two. This is the main reason I booked a room at this hotel. Lastly, I found that they charged my credit card three times. They did eventually credit me back, but charged an additional $50 after that. When I called to see why they had charged me $50, they explained that there was no evidence of this in their system. Bad experience!
Review 27：The room was nice, cramped, but nice. It was also located in a very central location, which was convenient for shopping.
Review 28：The main disappoinment was that the staff was dishonest. I was given wrong information about the breakfast and they did not give me a receipt even at departure. They said they would email it to me. I have now contacted them twice (they do not even give their email address) and still waiting...

Although the outside of the building does not look like it, the rooms were surprisingly nice with everything you would need. ie: hair dryer, fridge, microwave, iron, flat screen tv, desk, sitting area/table and armoire.
