Review 1：Our family met to celebrate our Christmas early. The pool side room allowed us to expand into the pool area. It gave us the room we needed. The staff was very willing to accommodate us.

Review 2：The front desk staff was very unfriendly, the pool was incredibly crowded and uncomfortable, and they had absolutely no order to the chaos they had. There was some kind of basketball convention or something in town and it was clear that either the hotel did not care, or did not care to be staffed for it. There were tons of teenagers running around being reckless, playing on the elevators, being rough and inappropriate in the pool area, and just being inappropriate altogether. Prior to travel, I called to confirm that I would have a late check in. They allowed this but seemed inconvenienced when it was so cold that my battery died and I needed a late check out to have my family come jump start the vehicle. Then, when my family got to the hotel, we advised since they had no way of tracking guests so to keep us from being stuck there even later, my family advised he was going to drive up on the sidewalk to jump me. He went to the front desk and again, they acted like they had no clue, were annoyed, and didn't want to be bothered. I also feel the food in the restaurant was poor, it was too expensive overall, and there was basically no time or space for the kids to enjoy the pool. Pretty disappointed and don't think I'll be staying there again.

Review 3：I liked that the gentleman when we first came in, insisted on helping my son, my toddler, and myself get our bags up to our room. The housekeeping staff were very polite and friendly to my toddler who is just learning to talk. They said hello to her, made her laugh, and were completely understanding when she was having a tough time due to lack of sleep. They did not try to rush me out of our room, they even waited until later in the day to come and clean for us.

Review 4：I had asked about my Kindle that I had left Aug.3....No response from housekeeping. Either didn't get the message or someone kept the Kindle. If housekeeping would of replied right away. I wouldn't be suspicious of someone keeping the kindle.

Review 6：No supervision in the water park. No towels made available. They put right next to a banquet room and didn't tell us that a group would be having a party in there until 2 am. Nothing about this place is worth the money!!

Wewere moved to a different room for the remainder of our stay, but todate the room was never refunded as we were told by the manager.

Review 10：Changed cc on check in. Not done! Bought tokens for games only 1 worked. Treadmill not working.Room not cleaned, covers just pulled up on bed. We will find a new place for next yr. so disappointed.

Review 12：Our room was truly disgusting -- there was a huge, barely dry waterstain on the ceiling from major water damage; the stained carpet felttacky, moldy, and damp so we could not walk on it with bare feet (notwithout cringing anyway); and the advertised "water park" wastiny -- only 1 large water slide, and 2 small ones, with a tiny poolthat they went into, and a tiny kiddie water area. Definitely not aslarge as advertised, and not worth visiting again. It was completelyoverrun with people, so it was hard for my kids to enjoy it. I was verydisappointed with this hotel on almost every level -- literally the onlynice note was the greeting upon check-in from a kind employee. Also,there were multiple events (weddings?) going on at the hotel, so thehallways were full of grossly intoxicated, loud people at all hours ofthe day and night -- my son and I were verbally accosted by a completelyintoxicated individual that was lost and looking for the elevator. Ihaven't been as disappointed in a hotel in quite a while.

Review 13：The rooms were very dirty, the beds, showers, bathrooms, counters, and floors. We had 2 rooms and both were the same. The night staff were not helpful. Even though the water park area was there it was in tough shape, the steps on the slides were covered in stuff and so were the railings and the pool was over chlorinated.

Review 16：I stood outside and one of the staff walked by and asked me if I was looking for the homeless shelter. This was extremely upsetting to me. I would not pay another penny to Best Western in Bismarck North Dakota. I have gotten better treatment from Motel 6!!!

Review 17：It was very comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. We needed an extra room and the front desk worked extra hard to make sure that we got one that suited our needs.

Review 24：Location of the hotel is across town from the freeway - Lamps in the room were falling apart, too many large decorative pillows on the bed that only took up room once on the floor- cooling unit blew air directly on the bed creating an uncomfortable draft - had to move the stuffed chair in front of it to correct the problem - chair had sizeable rip in the upholstery. Gross looking caulk around the tub. No breakfast included. Despite many rooms available, we were assigned to a top floor room farthest from the elevator.

Review 30：Our room was cold, the heater didn't work, after calling the desk several times, someone came but was unable to repair the heater. We waited for a portable heater, but I finally found a person who came to check and immediately brought in a portable heater. I realized the front desk was very busy checking in people, but they should have sent some from maintance sooner.

I called the front desk and the sent up maintenance very quickly, but the guy had to leave to go get something after he looked at the door. My son's father actually got the door unlocked with a wire hanger before the maintenance got back. Maybe having a key for the bathrooms at the front desk would be a plus.

Review 44：We booked a king room and after check in and only when we arrived inour room did we discover that we were given a queen. The desk staffwere very matter of fact in telling me the we should not haved usedbooking.com as they tend to offer rooms that are unavailable and theadvise booking directly through the hotel itself. When I asked if wecould cancel our room and go somewhere that would provide us with whatwe wanted we were told sure but we would be charge one night'sstay. Nice.Secondly, the rooms are old and dated and in poor repair. The paint on the door frames is chipped and there was black mold growing around the tub and the tile grout was filthy. The toilet was disgusting. The plug for the tub would not hold water - my husband was brave enought to use the tub - I would not. During this time we stayed at three different hotels starting in Fargo and ending in Bismarck all booking through booking.com this hotel was by far the most expensive and the least acceptable. When I asked to speake with a manager I was told none were available.

Review 46：One word, food. Limited menu, precooked meat, just not good food. But the shuttle drivers will take you anywhere you want to go. Food was expensive for what you got. Not good quality at all.

Review 48：Wifi was the worst anywhere in my 5 week trip across the USA. Scan could hardly even detect the server far less establish a useable connection. The heaters in our two rooms produced nothing but cold air. All in all bad value for money.

Review 50：The location of our room to the pool. Was kinda loud. Tried getting a night cap drink in the lounge but the bar tender seemed to not care if we got served or not. Ended up going elsewhere and picking up packaged drinks to go. Ate at the restaurant there also. Only 7 people there eating at the time and the service was horrible. The waiter apologized several times for forgetting about us. It took over an hour to get our burgers.

Review 54：I had made reservations for our families to occupy 3 rooms. We had 2 rooms with queen beds and 1 room with a king size bed. We were coming from: Alexandria, SD, Aberdeen, SD and Dickenson, ND. We arrivied at the hotel at 4:30 pm. Your hotel states that check in is at 3:00 pm. The two queen rooms were ready. The attendant at the desk stated that the King size room was not ready but stop by later to check. We decided to walk over to the mall while we waited. We returned 2 hours later to be informed the room was still not ready. When I checked in at 4:30 pm I signed for all three rooms on my card. When we returned, after being at the mall the attendant we felt was rude to my daughter when she inquired about the room. When my daughter told the attendant that we had checked in at 4:30pm even though check in was 3:00 pm the attendant snapped back at my daughter saying that she needed a credit card to place the room on. When I stated that that had already been done the attendant replied that it had not. My daughter gave her her credit card. The attendant gave my daughter the entry card. When my daughter asked about the room the attendant stated, she could either take a room on a different floor or just wait for the room to get cleaned. My husband and I both talked to attendants at the treatment of our family. No response. Not even an we are sorry for the inconvience. The next day when my husband and I went down to pay our portion of the bill we talked to a different attendant. The gentleman was very nice. He apologised and credited our daughters room charge. The 6 adults in our family all work with customer service. One is a nurse, one a salesman, one a banker,one a supervisor of an oil rig, one a teacher and one a director of a daycare. We all understand how service to others works. In the end we appreciated the attendant's help and sorry for the inconvience to our family.

The keys would not work to the rooms or the pool area and i had to go to the front desk three times which was upsetting. Our room didnt even have a half of roll of Toilet tissue so we ran out of that too. Very disgusted

Review 71：We reserved a room at this hotel during the annual McQuade softballweekend (although we were there for a different event). The front deskwas being renovated, so guests were required to check in a small sideroom that appeared unkempt and not well organized. Granted, a renovationcan cause a little bit of chaos, but I feel that an establishment shouldwork a little bit harder to ensure that the operation is runningsmoothly during that time period. During our check in the front deskstaff appeared overwhelmed. Considering the rates for the rooms, I wouldexpect a little bit of a higher standard of service and presentation.The hotel room was a standard 2 queen bed room, nothing remarkable to say about it. The hotel restaurant was absolutely terrible. We had driven all day and were too tired to venture out for dinner, so we felt a good option for the evening would be to eat at the hotel restaurant. This was a terrible mistake. The Caesar salad looked to be about 2 days old and had no flavor whatsoever. The purported "chicken" that was included with the salad was grainy and tasteless as well. My husband ordered a burger and couldn't even finish it. In retrospect, we should have been on to something when the waitress didn't ask how he wanted the burger prepared. I will commend the waitstaff for being attentive during our dinner.
