Review 1：Awful ridiculous narrow spiral stairs up to our room at top floor!! not for over 50 or not perfect legs or with luggage! ill fitted duvet cover has ink stains & holes! room cluttered with furnitures incl a 4 poster bed but no seats or surfaces or bedside table, no tea or coffee making facilities; breakfast was only eggs,1 sausage & thin white toast, bland & tasteless. Have to leave shoes downstairs as well. Poor value at 2,100 ThB - should be half the price for that area & that's being generous.

Review 3：The reception staff were very brusque and not very welcoming at all - we had to pay a $50 key deposit, which is ridiculous, and they didn't seem pleased at all to see us! As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no lift in the property and the only staircase is a very narrow spiral staircase - this is all part of the period charm of the hotel, but the staircase is very narrow and you need to be careful on the way down as it would be very easy to trip. Not a hotel for the elderly or anyone with a bad knee or fear of heights!

Review 4：Excellent location, very central for Night Market and the river and only a few minutes' walk away from a good massage parlour and fun bars. Close to the airport and the hotel has their own private car and driver, who were able to take us to Krabi airport for a 7am flight. Beautiful old building with plenty of character and charm. We has asked for a quiet room when booking and were given a room on the top floor, as requested. We left too early for breakfast, but the staff kidndly made us fruit boxes to take to the airport.

Review 5：Wonderful place. Staff was great. They were friendly and helpful. There were some language barriers, however it was not a big deal. The beds are firm but no more firm than any other guest house we stayed in. The locations is perfect close to night market and ferry terminal. I would highly recommend Uresidence and would stay again!

Review 13：Right in the centre of Krabi town close to restaurants, harbour and night market. Really nicely done in Thai style. Very comfortable beds and rooms. Ornate spiral staircase with no lift may not suit some guests although they do carry your luggage up for you.

Location excellent! Near pier and night markets and convenient stores and banks. The place lives up to what you see in the photos.

Review 25：The hotel madam sent us to the airport for 500B, while consider it's already 0am and no taxi, it's somehow reasonable to charge, but the cost is a little bit high for a 20mins drive, 300-350B will be more ok.

Across the street you can find a laundry (THB 40.00 per kg) if needed. The (outstanding) night-foodmarket is only 1 or 2 minutes away...perfect location in Krabi!

I had stayed in Krabi Town the previous week at the Pak Up Hostel and Your Hostel and this was by far the nicest accommodation through my whole journey. Review 41：U Residence's walls are paper thin and the hotel's clientele is extraordinarily loud. Guests were shouting between rooms into the early morning, with the hotel's seemingly indifferent staff doing nothing (it was easy to hear first-floor conversations on the third, so I imagine the reverse is true). The staff struck me as lackadaisical and perhaps even unfriendly, in such stark contrast to the warmth I've grown accustomed to everywhere else I've stayed in Thailand. When I told the owner about my negative experience, she simply nodded.

Review 45：It seems the owner of this hotel only put money and effort on the decoration. Staff lacks of skills and not willing to help, nobody knows how to speak english (it is dificult to find thai people who can speak english, but this hotel staff is the worst we found in Thailand). Bed is too hard.We sleap one Night and then moved to River View hotel that is cheaper and 2 blocks from Ur residence. I prefered River View, the staff is great there.

Review 47：The staff were friendly on and off. It seemed the moods varied quite a bit, but it could have just been an off day. When trying to check out, the staff was still sleeping (it was 6am) and never heard our taxi driver ringing the bell to open the door and let him in - we were lucky he didn't leave. The room smelled awful when we first checked in (like stale cat urine), but after turning the air on full blast and leaving the balcony door open for some time it was fine.

This is a highly recommendable hotel, and it offers very good value for your money. If we return to Krabi (which is very likely) we will not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Review 53：Nothing important really. If I have be picky, then the staff could improve a bit English (it is ok for basic issues, but if you have more complicated request then its tough to communicate). There was no closet in single room, not a big deal tough.

Review 63：I think our room was 2A, on the first floor. It was advertised as having a river view, but it didn't because it was not high enough to overlook the buildings on the other side of the road. So they should price it lower to match the rooms with a view of behind the building. The food was also, horrendous. Utterly terrible for us, which is a shame to say because we loved the hotel. Maybe use kitchen only for breakfast, and eat out for lunch and dinner. Still great place though!

Review 80：Everything! The place is very clean and the staff genuinely friendly and very helpful. It is centrally located and within easy reach of all amenities. Island boat tickets can be purchased from the hotel, and they will organise transfer to the pier, which is now 10 minutes out of town. The decor/fittings/fixtures are very cool. Wifi is outstanding, very very fast.

Review 84：The location ; we got off the bus from the airport and asked for directions. Very easy to find its on the 2nd main road facing the water. People that ran the hotel could not have been any more helpful. They organised our transport to Phi Phi for a very good price. The hotel was very good. Double room with a colour TV, AC, balcony over looking the street and water, shower with hot water! Breakfast was brilliant, cooked to your order. It is in a brilliant distance to walk round and explore Krabi Town. A lovely hotel!
