Review 3：Relaxed and pleasant surroundings. Just right after a long flight. All the staff were most helpful particularly the shuttle driver made me feel very welcome.

Review 4：Not really happy with the service at the front desk. while we checked in the hotel, the lady was doing other stuffs at the same time, and didn't give us any information regarding the stay unless we asked, i.e. the parking, wifi, breakfast time...(when she answer those questions, i feel her face was telling me, "you are having too many questions, I'm busy just leave me alone")..and when we called to ask for some shower amenities it never showed up...

Review 12：Shuttle to the airport was really easy to catch, the rooms are big, comfortable and very clean, I stayed there just to sleep a few hours before catching my flight back to London and I think it was more than enough. Food is expensive and I believe they serve until 11pm, it is better to buy something at the airport and eat in your room, if you want to save some money.

Review 13：Even bottled water is not included to the price. coffee is free but bottle of water is $5. there is no slippers in the room. the hotel is cat friendly but there is no litter or litter box in the hotel. you have to buy from somewhere.

Review 16：The overall stay was excellent! I booked my stay with booking.com and I think their is a lack of communication when it comes to the hotel location. They make up for their location by selling products you might have forgot at home or snacks that you may want for an overcharged fee.

Review 22：Nice room, great layout. Got a view on the highway which allowed me to have a good view on the scenery. One of the male staff is very helpful. One and only bar in the hotel, but it serves decent food with decent price too.

Review 23：The location was very hard to find and the staff gave inconsistent and inaccurate directions for getting there. I recommend that you put a map on the website with surrounding areas so that can be printed out and used by persons unfamiliar with the area. The front desk seemed understaffed and unable to service customers promptly. Not necessarily their fault - it's a management and staffing problem. The restaurant also seemed understaffed and somewhat overworked. WiFi did not work during the evening, although it was available by 1:30 am.

Review 24：It was close to Dulles airport, once the route to get there from the hotel was figured out. As mentioned in dislikes, you should have readily available maps for the use of guests to easily find their way to the airport.

Review 25：While "close" to the airport, the hotel is really backed into an area that requires several miles of driving to get to the actual airport. Shuttles start at 4:15 am, every half hour. Watch yourselves on early flights.

Review 48：I've stayed here now, 3 times over the past 4 years. I really think the Hyatt Dulles is a superior quality hotel, and at reasonable prices. It's really 4 star quality and affordable luxury for DC, just a little out of town though, so you must be willing to commute via car or cab.

One of the bartenders was nice and professional, but the other one seemed overworked, underslept, and not very happy to be there.

When I produced theticket and my paid parking stub I was harassed by the front desk. Theywould not be handling this for me. It was my problem to deal withlocal police (whom they invite on their property nightly) to defend myticket in court!

Review 65：Direct TV was working only intermittently (not a good signal). Pool was not open when I had time to swim (6am-9am on Saturday). Smell of the room - old smoking odor which resulted having a headache. Breakfast was not included. Price of cocktails and food was on a high side for what it was (no value for money).

Review 67：Didn't like the fact that the sink is outside the actual bathroom without a door. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very dirty and hanging in there crooked. The shower head really needs descaling. When I pointed it out to the receptionist, she just marked it down but nothing was done about it. Few more larger plants in the lobby would make it more welcoming.

Review 68：They put me (woman traveling alone) in a room with an adjoining room, and then not only put someone else in that adjoining room, but they were very late arrivals who woke me up and kept me up until 2am. I had a 5:30am wake up call, and requested it be changed to 6:30 but it was not changed. I had few hours of sleep before an early, very important meeting. I was assured several times that my cab would arrive on time, but as usual, someone else took my cab and I was late for my meeting. Very stressful and miserable experience, no early morning room service, arrived at my meeting exhausted, late, stressed, and hungry. No thanks.

There was an informal party going on in the hall directly in front of our door. It was immediately resolved, however. The real Achilles heel of this property is the front desk staff - they are not friendly at all and do not go out of their way to help you. One attendant rarely raised her head to speak to us as she worked on the computer. She was short when asking for shuttling information and she was to busy to give me the schedule. Housekeeping too was slow, but at least they were apologetic and friendly.

Review 97：My boyfriend and I met in Dulles and stayed here. The front desk was very friendly and the room was large and clean. It was nice to book the bed and breakfast option because we did not have to worry about food in the morning, though a little more variety would have been nice.

Review 114：Swimming pool opening hours are pathetic - only open Friday 5pm - 9pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am - 9pm. Have to tip all the time which is fine as we are in the US but if you forget (as we are European and we forgot) the waiter checks the bill and shakes his head and doesn't serve you for the rest of the time. We saw this so tipped him $5 (left money on table) and one of the other waiters stole $2 of it. We were told this story the following morning over breakfast. Not professional AT ALL!

Review 118：Hotel is extremely hard to find unless you know the area. Driving directions helped, but it took me over 40 minutes and many wrong turns to locate the place. My personal wifi hotspot would not work, so had to pay $10 to use theirs. TV did not work except in one position. If you moved it to watch it from the bed, it went black. No free water other than tap. Service at the restaurant/bar was non-existent. I waited over 15 minutes for a waiter to bring a menu or take an order, and was studiously ignored, so I left.

It departs from the hotel 15 minutes after the hour and 45 minutes after the hour. The shuttle picks guests up at the airport at curb 2A or 2H on the hour and 30 minutes past the hour. The 12:30 pm pick-up at the airport is the last one of the day.The pool is open from 5 pm until 10 pm Mon-Fri and 9 am until 9 pm Sat-Sun from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
