Review 3：staff are just amazing, very attentive and always trying to help. design is beyond amazing, villas are very comfy, and with an amazing view when you walk up in the morning with trees and some rain drops outside the big window that grants you access to the outside area of the villa. privacy is guaranteed, the use of Jacuzzi and the personal swimming pool is a must. the hotel include direct access to a private section of Mai kaho beach, very clean which makes it perfect to chill, just a few minutes from a cozy swimming pool. we asked for food at our room at 3 am, and we were expecting an ok taste, to our surprise the food was delicious and full of flavors, and most important, still hot. its was just phenomenal stay

Review 5：We had an amazing holiday time at Anantara. And when we thought holidays with toddler will look like a nightmare, hotel staff made our stay a great pleasure! They were always helpful and smiley. They will call you by name, will remember your orders and requests, so next visit to the beach or restaurant you don't need to repeat it. Its looked so honest. Seems like people really enjoy working there! This is very important and it influences costumer service a lot. Facilities - we used most of them :) everything is done so you enjoy your stay and relax. I don't really get people commenting that some villas are far from the beach and you need to walk. I was making rounds with the baby within resort and the furthest villa is like 7 min walk to the beach. You can get buggy of course any time, but walk through beautiful gardens in the shadow its so cooling and relaxing. Just small notes, nurse of the resort should be free of charge for the first aid (just my opinion). And fruits in villas should be changed daily (we asked 4 days in a row to change and were no reactions until my angry side came out, after that all was great :) Cleanless - I rated 3/4 just because of the leaves in the private swimming pool. Is not much resort fault, but its so annoying. Location - little bit remote for someone coming to Phuket for adventures. For us it was what we were looking for.Having in mind, that there are full facilities around, we didn't need to go out of the resort area. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

Review 37：The maintenance of the property, especially in the villas, was below our expectations. We stayed at the Royal Villa, which we were told is one of the more premium accommodations that the resort has to offer, but the bathroom door in the second bedroom was jammed, the AC was leaking water and there was water dripping onto the bed from the ceiling during the days that it rained. While the staff did all they could to make us comfortable, I feel that these kind of problems should not have been there in the first place. Also, there is a need for more dining options as many guests, including us, were going to the JW Marriott everyday for dinner.

La Sala's Thai food is not very authentic. There is a timeshare element, even at the concierge table one of the staff trys to get us to go to the sales presentation.

Review 42：The resort and the villas are very well designed and maintained. Inside the villas has great privacy. The resort landscaping is kept in great shape.

Review 43：Limited food options due to isolated location - Choice is Anantara resort's 2 restaurants or neighbouring Marriott's resort's numerous restaurants or "Turtle Village" which has The Coffee Club (yes unfortunately just like (and as bad) as in Australia), Thai Express (very average Thai food) or an Engligh pub (seemed ridiculous so never went)! The resort is an hour and 15min drive from Patong - although for us and others this is the point! Our private sun deck was overlooked by neighbouring villas front door which is the case for half the villas. Not a big issue but did slightly ruin the privacy which is the point of having a private villa and pool.

Review 44：Beautiful resort with private villas which are just like the photos. Very friendly Thai staff (although in my experience this is almost universally what Thai people are like so it's a reason to go to Thailand not necessarily this resort). I read some reviews complaining about hard selling of the time-share resort - we received an invite one day to come to a info session but I just ignored it and it was never mentioned again. So not exactly a hard sell!

What is that about????

Not to gain access to our private garden without our consent and during our romantic dinner to put out suitcase in front of us. The hotel should also consider transporting hot food to rooms with appropriate devices and not wrapped in a cellophane tape especially for chips which may be turned into marshmallows :) Voilà !

Review 74：An excellent resort. Friendly, beautiful grounds. It's definately an 'experience' place with mini lakes, private beach and villa plunge pools. My only advice is to be mindful when booking that you need a significant amount of holiday cash. Massages at around £85, thai buffet at around £40 a head, 2 main meals and a bottle of wine at the seafood restaurant at around £120 etc. You get what you pay for in life and it doesdm't spoil the resort at all but I couldn't help but think that if they kept the facilities pricing a little more grounded then people would use them more often. We spent far more at the next resort on massages and meals because the price was sensible. Besides that I'd go again and recomnend it!!

It's spacious and equipped with all the necessities. What impressed me was the Handy phone too which provided free international calls, wifi, and lots of comprehensive information and you can even carry it out with you for easy access. All in all, I felt pampered like a queen staying in this resort. Staff like Mr Noom is a rare gem, he assisted us in whatever we needed or requested conscientiously. Ms Toy at the restaurant is also very friendly and helpful.

When we arrived at the Villas, we were said that there was mis-conmmunication with Booking.com and our villa was not ready for us. The staff asked for us to wait untill the villa was ready enjoying a complementary drinks. We accepted her offer but there was no response for 1 hour from the staff. We called her and she came back, but we were so embrassed when we were told that we need additional 1.5hrs. The staff recommended us to spend the time in Turtle villiage. But, Turtle village was too small to spend that time. She look very irreseponsible. If she had needed about 3 hrs. she should have asked of our undestanding at the first time not instead of leaving us with complementary drink. We asked her to find anther solution and finally she brought us to othe room ,the same type but ready. But soon we found a guy was fixing the sundeck in a garden even though we didn't let the door open for him to come in. The idea came to us that the new villa was not still ready for us and just we were sent avoiding the complaint, shown as if the problem is solved. We was so upset. We were told that a buggy came at the villa within 5 mins. We called and waited for 10 mins. in front of our villa. but the buggy didn't came and we got to the reception on foot. A toilet in our villa looked so old and needed long and much pressure to make it works. Many ants

Review 95：The space is enough for 2 people. The villa was good for privacy. A bedding is very comfortable. A personal pool in a villa was good, It has shades most of a day. We can enjoy swimming without an attack of strong sunshine of the day. The Villas has many trees which can give the shade to you walking in the villas.

Review 97：When I first saw the pictures of the room I was booking ( two bedroom pool villa) i was a little worried that the pictures were not true. But when I reached there, it was even better! I loved the hotel and the staff were amazing! Especially the girl at the reception that would always ask how was our day and things like that! The swimming pool was quite nice and not very small.
