Review 1：We had a view onto a wall. We heard loud music from the pool/restaurant area until quite late. Decor is a bit dated. Too far from the town Durbuy to walk so we had to drive everywhere.

Review 2：Good value for money. There is a swimming pool and other facilities that guests can use. Free parking. Breakfast buffet was good (but a bit expensive). Nice walks in the area and Durbuy is a lovely town.

Review 5：Even though the facilities were good, the hotel itself was starting to get a little tired and could do with a bit of an update. Lots of money has been spent on providing the gym equipment and pool etc, but the building itself was just starting to need some attention.

Review 8：Hotel Tropical is in a quiet location but just a short drive from Durbuy which is a great place to visit pool-side rooms are the best Clean - friendly staff and other guests- good food all added up to a pleasant experience. If you're unlucky with the weather it's a great place to hide if the weathers fine it's still a nice place to be.

Review 11：The tropical theme and indoor heated swimming pool makes the hotel exceptionally suitable for families and children. Larges tropical plants, trees and palms surround the swimming pool giving one the feeling of a tropical paradise. There are trampolines and swings on the grounds and a picturesque Chinese garden. The gym is well equipped and includes a sauna and sunbeds.

Review 14：Staff - Declined to send an email via usb and not eager to help me otherwise Soundproof - There is no soundproof at the rooms at all. Personally, didn't sleep until 1.30 am Location - It is located between Durbuy and Barvaux. Attention! There is no access to the hotel for pedestrians. Bus is not operating so you have to find a taxi if you don't have car. For the price that I paid (111 Eur) I am dissapointed.

Review 30：Dinner was a terrible disappointment. We chose a 60€ gourmet menu. We received a less than average series of dishes. We had to wait over an hour for the main course. We have tried the 7€ mojito in the meanwhile ... its taste reminded us of lemon scent dishwashing liquid. We have returned it back. It could have been a nice stay but the dinner ruined it all.

Review 32：The room was outside of the hotel. The walls were thin and we could here our neighbors talking and when they opened their door it was as if they were coming into our room. When the neighbors used the shower there were strange noises coming out of our bathroom. The swimming pool was cold and not clean and we were the only ones using it and we felt observed.

Review 41：Really needs updating. The water in the pool was cold. Did mention this but was told it was correct for the temperature reading. When you can't get in it and see children not getting in, then you know it's cold. The general idea of the hotel is very good but not worth a 4 star rating

Review 47：-staff was not friendly -wanted to check-out at 7:30am, but nobody was at the counter and we had to wait for 15 minutes -pool is too cold for kids to play in -the walls are too thin and we could hear neighbors talking

Review 48：I was so surprised to arrive there and see the hotel... I had to recheck my reservation- this is 4 stars??? What? It looks like a decade ago, someone came in to give it a face-lift and nothing has been fixed since. Both locks on our room were broken (literally the handle fell out of the door everytime), spiders and cobwebs everywhere, no shower curtain, and plastic bathroom walls. Also there was no cardio equipment in the gym. The value for money was painful. I was disappointed, hoping that this could have been a return trip, but definately wont be.

Review 49：Only 2 things made this hotel tolerable to stay- the good breakfast spread and the two trampolines out back. Another appreciated aspect was that it was a pretty quiet hotel despite being in high season.
