Reviews for Quality Inn Durango

Review 1:Breakfast food runs out too quick. No potatoes, sausage, waffles and coffee cups and coffee was made after we finished breakfast. We arrived at 8:40am

Review 2:The best customer service we've received from any hotel. Hotel room clean, roomy and comfy. Great stay for price.

Review 3:THE BREAKFAST STAFF WERE THE BEST PEOPLE OF ANY INN WE HAVE STAYED AT.THE MAIDS WERE VERY PROFICIENT OF ANY I HAVE SEEN,THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE I HAVE TIPPED THE MAIDS IN ALL MY TRAVEL

Review 4:To check in was a while. I have never had to wait unless there was a line but no one was there.

Review 5:The beds are amazing and the guy doing the breakfast in the morning was so nice it was like being in a little cafe.

Review 6:The wooden floor was filthy dirty. We asked management to clean it, and when we came back to stay again a few days later, they told us it had been cleaned. So, we stayed in the same pet-friendly room. Our socks were still black just from walking across the floor a few times. The front desk assured us it had been scrubbed (several times), but the wood floor just wouldn't come clean.

Review 7:Being centrally located to downtown Durango.

Review 8:breakfast room and I switch upstairs.

Review 9:Brooke and her whole staff was fabulous. We were all there for memorial service for my brother and they were very caring and compassionate to all of us.

Review 10:Air conditioning system a bit noisy.

Review 11:Car parking available. Near to Durango city center. Clean and comfortable. Microwave and big fridge available in the room. We asked for double bed and we got a room with 2 almost double beds and they were very comfortable. Breakfast was on average, made of eggs, potatoes, sausages and warm waffles.

Review 12:Insufficient parking when at full occupancy; had to park next door. Internet sometimes really slow.

Review 13:Nice pool, comfortable beds and pillows, decent breakfast.

Review 14:Had a 1st floor room under someone who had kids doing a lot of jumping around until midnight - let the kids stay on the first, the sleepy mature couple on the 2nd floor

Review 15:Breakfast was good, location better than expected with use of the $1 transit bus.

Review 16:Forgot to book an upstairs room, it is incredible how unthinking people can be and end up sounding like a herd of elephants, luckily they went to bed early!

Review 17:Everything went very smoothly and the staff even rang to check we were happy.

Review 18:We had a leaking roof in the middle of the night! Couldn't go in there without getting very wet! Also the pet area is not safe , many dogs there without leash.

Review 19:Staff was very friendly especially one breakfast attentant. Room was comfortable and clean . Breakfast was good . Good value . We received a different room .

Review 20:The bathroom set up in our room was a little funky with the light switches outside the shower and toilet room.

Review 21:Friendly staff, kids loved the hot tubs, very clean.

Review 22:No complaints of any kind.

Review 23:Wonderful free breakfast in nice facility, operated by a very engaging young lady who clearly takes great pride in her work. Very spacious, well laid out room, with large seating area and separate sink and toilette/shower areas.

Review 24:Nothing

Review 25:What's not to like it's clean, friendly and food good. A little out of Durango but still on main street there is a free trolley that goes up and down every 20 minutes. There is a lovely river walk from the inn.

Review 26:Parking lot became a bit crowded.

Review 27:Staff pleasant and extremely helpful, especially Brooke who went out of her way to provide information of places to go and things to see.Good breakfast choices for lighter fare if desired.

Review 28:The bed was too hard for me. There was a very strange and irritating noise that kept us awake a lot! Maybe it was an echo of traffic? We asked for a handicap room when making the reservations, but it was not available. The ice machine was located upstairs as was the breakfast room. We couldn't do the stairs. On returning to the room the last afternoon we couldn't get in. Thankfully a lady who worked there was near-by and she let us in our room and took the keys up to be rekeyed and returned them to us.

Review 29:Convenient location Clean

Review 30:Nothing special about the motel it was bad and it didn't do anything for me it was too expensive for the quality of the motel !

Review 31:I got a good nights sleep

Review 32:Not as ADA friendly as we would wish. We know ramps get slippery in cold weather, but steps, even the few up into the office and breakfast center are impossible for someone with walker or wheelchair who doesn't want to have to rely on staff or travel companion.

Review 33:Amenities not often found at other chains in the same price range -- cold water at the service desk, fresh hot breakfast, better than average in-room coffee and a cheerful staff eager to serve.

Review 34:the property seemed cluttered and not modern, the rooms need renovation.our room had a moldy smell.

Review 35:decent location,breakfast and staff

Review 36:No complaints

Review 37:Staff were very friendly, room was comfy and clean. Hot tubs were awesome.

Review 38:They even had a doggie bed in the room that my dog loved.

Review 39:Overpriced. Also, the pet fee is ridiculous since it is nightly. We have a small well behaved quiet pug, not a barking jerk.

Review 40:Clean and comfortable.

Review 41:Nice walk to downtown. Close to good restaurants. Hot breakfast

Review 42:Friendly staff and good dining recommendations

Review 43:This was probably the best stay we have ever had. The staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable.

Review 44:Location on busy road, hard to get in and out

Review 45:Best breakfast around, staff very nice.

Review 46:staff very friendly

Review 47:Location was great

Review 48:Breakfast room small

Review 49:The room was clean and updated

Review 50:We liked all the quality inn people. We enjoyed our three nights'

Review 51:Can't think of a thing.

Review 52:Very nice rooms, very quiet. Excellent hot breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Review 53:15 dollar pet charge to much or no charge would be better

Review 54:Room smelt like per urine.

Review 55:The staff was very accommodating.

Review 56:Kindness of the staff.

Review 57:exceptionally courteous staff. have stayed here before and will again

Review 58:Nice, clean room with two queens. Small frig in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had proteins every morning!

Review 59:The breakfast and ice were upstairs. I have some trouble with stairs.

Review 60:The staff was great and our room was clean and comfortable.

Review 61:Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff, nice free breakfast

Review 62:No convenient ice machine near rooms.

Review 63:Bed was comfortable. Decent breakfast.

Review 64:Attention to detail and friendliness if staff.

Review 65:Not the fault of the property, but the volume of traffic on the street outside is truly stunning (and I live in a city of 2 million) and there are no nearby cross walks lights where you can cross. Somewhat surprisingly, I was not bothered by the traffic noise at night.

Review 66:Brooke at the front desk was awesome, giving me an early check-in after a long, hot bicycle ride into town and providing great lunch and dinner recommendations incluiding information on the free, local "trolley" that runs into the downtown area. A large supermarket is about a 3 block walk up the street.

Review 67:the google maps location was way off, the hotel was on the opposite side of town as the map showed.

Review 68:Continental breakfast was super and the staff at breakfast kept all well stocked and the service was exceptional.

Review 69:the electrical out let need to be replaced, all of them were worn out and the plug would not stay in.

Review 70:It was a very enjoyable stay, the breakfast was excellent.

Review 71:Small rooms; Motorcycles making a lot of noise as they came and went from the motel. Could hear people talking outside our room.

Review 72:Very nice staff at front desk and breakfast room. Location only short trolley ride to center of town and train station.

Review 73:The room smelled like bleach . It was very clean but strong smell. It was a very small room but comfortable.

Review 74:Great location river runs through the back of property. Not located downtown but close to everything Located close to freeways n cemetery we had planned to visit. Not to far from Mesa Verde National Park which was our destination. Had a dairy Queen KFC Taco Bell n Walgreens near by. The staff very all kind n helpful. When I had a headache I was going to walk to Walgreen to get a pain pill but asked the girl in the dining area she went downstairs n brought me a pain pill sample. We were able to check in early around 1pm when check in was 3pm.The breakfast buffet was nice choice of waffles cereal eggs n potatoes sausage yogurt fruit n pastrys.

Review 75:The bed was nice looking, the sheets and bedding were great, but the bed itself was uncomfortable. Both nights we woke up with painful backs.

Review 76:The staff was amazing and the food was great! We stayed in an upgraded room and it was very nice.

Review 77:Pets were allowed but I had to sign a $15 cleaning fee. I don't know if that was all rooms or just the possible pet spots. Bed was too soft and room smelled of deodorizer.

Review 78:Hot breakfast with fresh eggs and sausage

Review 79:When I departed, they could not give me a receipt stating it had to come from you. This is not a very customer friendly way of doing business. I still have no receipt. I will avoid Booking Inc for future travel.

Review 80:Disapointed in the size of the room, way too small, it didn't smell clean, and the air conditioner was behind a wall so it didn't cool the bed area. Therefore, we did not want to eat breakfast there, we found a local resteraunt. I doubt we will return. Deffinatley not worth the price we paid, way over priced.

Review 81:The staff was very friendly.

Review 82:We were surprised at how delicious the continental breakfast was at the Quality Inn. Most of the time at such hotels one will find stale pastries, cereal and yogurt. At Quality Inn there were scrambled eggs (made from real eggs, not powder), breakfast sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruit, etc. Everything tasted great and the person who was in charge of breakfast seemed to care that the guests loved the food. And they truly did. The rooms are clean and provide adequate comfort. On road trips my husband and I usually bring our own pillows, and we were surprised this time that we wouldn't need them. The pillows at the hotel were soft and fluffy, not to mention aplenty. The front desk clert took her time to tell us about things to do in Durango. Overall, we were glad we had chosed the Quality Inn.

Review 83:When reservations were made, specifically requested first floor for bothrooms but one was on 1st floor and the other on the 2nd. The room waschanged to first floor but in another building. Not happy campers!

Review 84:It was a place to sleep. Fairly clean, buy possible mold in bathroom.

Review 85:We have a large (70#) dog. There was not much room to see up her carrier in our King bed room.

Review 86:The beds are SO comfortable - just like home. This Quality Inn has fans in the bathroom which we liked. The manager on duty when we checked in was very pleasant and helpful.

Review 87:I was very disappointed that we left a "do not disturb sign" outside of our room before we went to breakfast when we got back our room had been entered and they had started cleaning the room with a few of our personal belongings still in the room. Management was apologetic but we were very upset because we had felt our privacy was disrupted it was only 10 am and check out wasn't until 11. We never checked out before we left but was told by the clerk that they had already checked us out. VERY upset about this experience.

Review 88:location

Review 89:Very aged facility and quite noisy

Review 90:Great staff very helpful

Review 91:The location, staff and the facility.

Review 92:rooms with king bed are on the small side. some of the food served at breakfast was obviously old.

Review 93:Very helpful front desk about local information. One of the best included breakfasts we have had.

Review 94:Air Conditioner Did Not work really hot when we arrived,.Took severalhours to cool down..Would pic another Motel

Review 95:The beds were very firm.

Review 96:The office staff were super nice. They opened the jacuzzi for us a few times after dark and it was extremely appreciated!

Review 97:Room was too small.
