Review 1：Our Stay at Golden Nuggett was wonderful. We had an ocean view, our room was always cleaned and made up when we returned. The staff was helpful and friendly. We plan to make a return trip.

Review 5：Un-helpful staff would not even look up room availability and told us there was no rooms available in the entire region and the New Years Eve party was private. We left and went to the IP and spent the next two nights there. I wanted to speak with management and tell then how dissatisfied we were. We will never visit the Golden Nugget again.

Review 6：I did not like anything about the Golden Nugget. We went to eat as soon as we arrived and was told we had 30 minutes before to eat before they closed at 8:30pm. There was one nice lady who waited on our table, beside her I have no more positive comments.

Review 37：My entire experience at the Gold Nuggest was great. Staff was very friendly. I originally booked a king bed room and they did not have any availble when I checked in. The front desk apologized and automatically upgrades my room for the inconvenience. The view was great and just the while atmosphere was pleasant. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Review 39：The rooms were very nice. They were clean and decorated nice. I was surprised the rooms were so nice. We ate at the steak house. The food was great! Every person that worked there that I spoke to about where something was or anything else, was very polite and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our selves. I usually stay at the other casinos, but they were booked for the day I wanted to come, I can honestly say that I will be making Golden Nuggeet my first choice from now on.

Review 40：I reserved a king non smoking room. When we arrived, I was told my room was no longer available and was given a smoking room with 2 queen beds. My husband and I were very disappointed because we do not smoke and I can not stand the smell and the entire hallway and room smelled so strongly of smoke.

Review 41：The front desk was courteous, efficient and straight to the point. There were no pleasantries. There was only one women with a nice smile. I hate I didn't get her name. However, front desk could definitely smile more.

Review 87：The pool was fabulous! I felt like I was at the Delano in Miami! Swim up bar and cabanas! What more could you ask for? The staff was great and I even won a little playing Roulette! It was very convenient to downtown Ocean Springs which is where we did most of our partying at night! Leo's was a blast! Fun! Fun! Fun!

Review 91：Our bed was very comfortable. The third floor pool was great. The H20 pool was ok but we just enjoyed the view and peaceful surrounding that came with using the third floor pool. Keep in mind you have to use your room towels for the 3rd floor so don't forget to call before you go to bed or you will likely have to wait for towels in the morning. Selection of food was pretty good something different at every corner it seemed. We don't gamble so I can't tell you how that is.

Review 92：My room was not clean the last day of our stay (Sept 8), dirty glasses, sink dirty and the surface area was not wiped down or cleaned and sheet was not changed for 2 days, finally,I had to call housekeeping for them to clean my room. The staff at the hotel was not friendly when you asked any question pertaining to the hotel. Also, the Grille the cashier was not courteous or friendly when placing you order. When we went to the pool, they would not allow us to sit under the umbrella and was told we have to make a reservation to sit under them. I watched from my window never saw anyone sitting under the umbrella's(Sept 8). Valet definitely need more help immediately had to wait for vehicle 2 to 15 minutes .

It showed thatthey did this often and didn't care that we could hear them.......Our room #756 had knocking noise all night long and air conditioningseem not to work good at night cause we would wake up drenched in sweaton more then one night....then we decided to eat at Bubbagump just towalk out feeling discriminated on. Spoke with the manager whom all butcalled me a lier.

Review 99：Had two ladies at bar area and a guy by the name Lenny that did talkvery nice to us and made us feel comfortable with our stay. We would godown to casino and sit where they they would be working. I'm sadthat we did get the two ladies names but it was on Sunday night when wegot there and we did look for them the next night. Didn't get to seethem but that's when we met Lenny. Very nice young man whom alsotalk and was nice to us and make us feel welcomed!

Review 100：The reservationist was not nice and didn't want to honor our reservation from booking.com until I proved it with an email on my phone, after spending 20 minutes on phone with Booking.com. Buffet area was horrible; crowded tables sitting next to strangers, almost touching their elbows. Don't want to pay $30 to dine in such an area, although food was good. Bathrooms across from Buffet were disgusting; I walked out gagging and went to my room bathroom. Although pool was nice; DJ by pool was horrible !

Review 121：The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We hated to leave the room because we had a great view, a spa tub and could get room service. It was a great stay.

Review 124：The rooms I reserved a month before were not available when we checked in. I booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds and they were unavailable. I had to take two rooms with kind beds and They were unable to even put the two rooms on the same floor. They said they were able to move us the next day to the rooms with two queen beds. The lady working upon check in was rude and seemed aggravated with me because I was upset about being on seperate floors. They were able to move us the next day however I had to go to the desk twice before they could get the rooms and I had to wait for them to be cleaned which meant we were unable to enjoy ourselves until the rooms were ready and we moved, which was just a hassle. The service at the poolside bar was very slow and they weren't very friendly.

Review 128：I had booked a room for myself and 3 friends 2 queen size beds, when I got there they told me all rooms with queen beds were booked and that my reservation only held the room. They had a king size bed and could offer roll aways. I had just driven 2 hrs and was tired so said ok, we will see for now. But after going to room it was very small not enough for my group. I called the manager on duty

Review 129：I called the manager and they they changed our room to one with two queen beds which was much better and more space, but then that tells me they lied in the first place. Not happy about that

Review 130：The layout of the whole casino is very odd- there is no flow. Typically when you pull up to the entrance there is a lobby or natural path that leads to checkin. Here you arrive with Starbucks (yeah) on the left, slots in front & very plain staircase/escalator on the right. This then takes you up to the next level where a bar is on the left, VIP entrance ahead & in the corner check-in for the rooms. As if an after thought really. Slots during our stay were very tight - spent our time at Hard Rock & Beau playing during our 4 day stay. Lots of security folks in this small casino (not bad just seemed like a lot) housekeeping friendliest in the whole location

Review 131：Pool area is very nice; great area to unwind & relax. Bubba Gumps has great drinks & the scampi is best have ever had. This restaurant had the best waitstaff of all we tried.

Review 132：I requested a double bed terrace and when i arrived i had to wait for them to find me another room. Keep in mind i made reservations about a month in advance, called and confirmed the room night before, and was charged only to find out my room was taken when i checked in. Got a room with no fridge or microwave. Overall i had a good stay. Nost of the staff is awesome. Not going back with the kids though, maybe with the hubby.
