Reviews for Simon’s Town Guest House

Review 1:Really friendly staff and comfort at the Guesthouse. We stayed there for one night and really enjoyed it. The rooms exceed "western" expectations and the breakfast is just sensational. It's stunning to see the sunrise out of the room.

Review 2:Nothing comes to mind.

Review 3:We were pleased with all aspects of the guest house - the staff, the room, the breakfasts and the location were all wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 4:All very good. If this b/b had a swimming pool it would rate a perfect 10

Review 5:All good Comfortable, fantastic sea views, courteous & friendly staff & owner. Personal touch

Review 6:Nothing- it was amazing!

Review 7:A super experience. Amanda, Susie and "Wonderful" couldn't do enough for us. A hugely pleasurable stay and an amazing setting.

Review 9:The moment I arrived at SGH, I was shown all the facilities in and outside of the beautifully prepared guest room and breakfast area. Having just had a hip surgery, I was overwhelmed by Amanda and her staff's support to make my recovery period unforgettable. It felt like I was at home with family, rather than just being a guest- and what's more... her 2 little girls made my stay even more enjoyable by popping in every day and checking in on my health. A truly amazing place to stay. ....I will return, for sure!

Review 10:Amanda, Suzi and the team were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Great views from the room. Very good breakfast. Very enjoyable start for the Garden Route tour. Highly recommend.

Review 11:Parking could be a problem if all rooms were occupied - but we had no difficulty.

Review 12:This is a fantastic B&B with an incredible view. The room was large and comfortable, with huge windows, and the location was quiet yet convenient. Breakfast was superb, as was the hospitality. The view high up on the hill was amazing with a comprehensive perspective of the bay.

Review 13:we were received with a warm, homely reception. very friendly lady at the reception. accommodated al our neads eg: feather pillows . they went the extra mile to make us comfortable.

Review 14:Nothing that I can think of except there were of good shows on TV!

Review 15:The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the breakfast was really nice.

Review 16:car parking on side of a hill. Window frame obstructing view when sitting at window. Small bathroom and you have to stand in the open doorway to dry yourself.

Review 17:Friendliness of owner and manager.

Review 18:Great room with an astonishing view! Lynn was amazing! extremely helpful and friendly. Going out her way to help us with tours and recommendations about Cape town.

Review 19:Amazing place to stay, very friendly staff (even when faced with slight adversity of fires in local area). Bedroom was very comfortable, modern, and well maintained. Breakfast was included, large variety for a place with 5 rooms, and delicious omelette homemade, and made to order on the spot

Review 20:I cannot recommend this guest house HIGHLY enough! Location - on the side of a craggy, rocky hill overlooking False Bay. Very picturesque. Access and parking is a little tight as the guest house is built on the side of a steep hill. Rooms were immaculate. Windows were sparkling clean which isn't easy considering the salt spray continuously blowing in. Views were amazing. Beds were huge, comfortable and the bed linen was regal. Property is very secure. Our stay was very private with no unnecessary or awkward contact with staff, owners or other guests. WiFi was rock solid in the rooms as well as common areas. No daily data or device limits. Staff were tremendous. Special mention to Lynn who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and special. Brought a fresh fruit platter to our room before breakfast and then presented us with an amazing spread for breakfast that staved off hunger until late in the day. Everything about our stay at Simons Town Guest House was high end and professional and certainly rivals the best hotels I've ever experienced.
