Reviews for Sea Aire Motel

Review 1:None

Review 2:I loved how the staff made you feel welcomed. The rooms were perfect for a getaway and the outside environment was very lovely. A lot of restaurants are within walking distance which is awesome. If you're tired of staying in cooperation hotels like the Hilton and what not and want a place that feels more peaceful... I highly recommend coming here.

Review 3:Room was stuffy unless the AC was running.

Review 4:Great location. Friendly, quiet, very pleasant even though the building is older. So convenient to the ocean, which was my main goal.

Review 5:Room smell musky, and there were lil bugs in the room. Beds were very uncomfortable felt like I was going to fall off.when I booked the room on booking.com I booked a front view facing the beach also queen beds the lady at the front desk said that the back rooms were the ones they gave to people who booked from booking.com I was like really when I booked I booked a ocean view room and two queen beds instead I got a view of the streets and beds that were not even full size bed so I asked if we could change rooms she said there was no more rooms available so my hubby said its only one night leave it alone I was not very happy it was suppose to be a very special night for us. :(

Review 6:I like that the place was in walking distance to the beach, also had close places u could eat and just enjoy...

Review 7:Beds and pillows very uncomfortable, which made for rather bad sleep.

Review 8:Closeness to the beach is awesome. The staff was excellent. The 'courtyard' was a luscious soft green lawn.

Review 9:I only had one not really a bad thing was I took my trash to the office and asked where I could put it and was told where the dumpster was. That was not what I thought I would hear . Then the lady said she would take it and I felt that was a bit rude

Review 10:I love how quaint and cute the place is! It is old style and very relaxing. The staff were very nice and kind to me especially Kathy who was very helpful and sweet

Review 11:Place has no pool and rooms are clean but dated with wood panneling and window unit acs.

Review 12:Great location in downtown Cocoa. Right on the beach, privately owned motel with very friendly staff.

Review 13:Room #2 faced condo and town metered parking lot. Room had clothes hanging area in bathroom. Refrigerator seal needs fixing. Stove was very, very old and felt one burner with current through pot while stirring with spoon. Other burners were fine. Missed not having a microwave.

Review 14:Location was excellent! Room was affordable for being on the beach and very clean. Grounds are lovely, well manicured and very clean. Will gladly return next year!

Review 15:Don't think the wi-fi is secure. My computer has been behaving strangely ever since.

Review 16:Friendly. Well-kept old motel like I remember from the '60'same but not gone to seed. Cute as it can be. Bright chairs outside the room door sit enjoy. Old wood porch type swings looking out over the Atlantic. Picnic tables. Nostalgic little haven. Kitchenettes.

Review 17:The facilities are a bit rundown and showing its age.

Review 18:The staff was very helpful in providing info on places to eat. A great place to see the satellite launch, just a few steps to the beach. Overall, clean and convenient.

Review 19:The location. Sea Aire is right on the beach, it is a single level facility. I like being able to step right outside and walk to the beach. It was quiet. Very nice helpful staff. In room kitchen was sufficient for a four day stay; no microwave but one was available in the office. It is a non-chain establishment that is well-maintained and very affordable.

Review 20:Well, there was the party in the room next door, but we had brought ear plugs just in case. And we felt bad for the staff who had to clean up the vomit in the parking lot. College kids, can't reason with them, can't kill them unless you have a silencer on your gun and a backhoe nearby.

Review 21:The location was great and there were lots of great but cheap eateries nearby. It wasn't too crowded. We didn't have to put up with too many overly pretentious pseudo-rich people, which we hate because our own town is going the Aspen route. Even though we have a few bucks in the bank ourselves, we prefer to associate with THE REAL PEOPLE, not ones who ACT rich. They're so annoying.

Review 22:Rooms are dated, try to get a beach side room they are worth the bit extra

Review 23:Right on the beach, close to some great bars and the best restaurant in Cocoa beach the fat kahuna

Review 24:Rooms are very noisy--while in the bathroom I could hear every word of a conversation in the next room, and the road and parking lots are loud.

Review 25:We like staying in locally owned places and this one is sincere and well maintained. Unfortunately we didn't find it as charming or comfortable as other travelers. Maybe it was the location of our room (between two parking lots and a busy road), or the fact that the rooms, while very clean, seem never to have been updated and are bordering on shabby. In any case, we wish those in the beachfront rooms a pleasant stay and will try for those--or a different hotel--next time we visit Cocoa Beach.

Review 26:No bad experience, but didn't realize that we would be facing away from the central grass court yard into a parking lot. This was disappointing to us.

Review 27:Daily walks on the beach, and being able to cook some meals ourselves.

Review 28:The kitchen really needs an upgrade my room had a old stove that seen better days, small fridge and no microwave and was lacking utensils!

Review 29:The staff was very nice, the room was clean and the view of the ocean was great!

Review 30:May lack certain amenities found at modern chains but whatever (detailish) shortfalls are more than compensated by the overall experience.

Review 31:Owner takes pride in motel ownership, service; we had nice ocean view (#15); old style motel - not cookie cutter; in "protected" area of cocoa beach; other guests - friendly, laid back

Review 32:There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about our stay!

Review 33:Motel was awesome! Exactly what we were looking for. Clean, very reasonably priced & great location. In walking distance of everything. Couldn't have been any better for us.

Review 34:The last night we stayed was a Saturday. Idk why but a party was booked in room 1 next to us. And it went on all night long! All night. I was surprised and disappointed that they were allowed to continue. We were literally awake all night long.

Review 35:I liked the location. Mr. Gary was exceptional.

Review 36:I really loved the view oon the beach with the magnificent sunsets! The room is lage, with lots of windows and natural air flow, and we really enjoy the kitchen facility. The personnel is very flexible, helpfull and generous to help you having a good stay. I like this style of vintage one storey motels along the beach; you cannot find better when it is so clean. We will certainly be coming back and I recommend this motel if you are comfortable with older but clean facilities. Also close to many good restaurants and factory outlets.

Review 37:-the room is old and smells like old -the kitchen facility doesn't include a cutting board or a knife to cut anything! -when you try to use the oven - the fire alarm starts beeping! so how am I supposed to cook??? -bad sound isolation - in the bathroom you can actually hear every word they say in the neighbor room

Review 38:-a really nice location - right on the beach -lot's of cafes and stores - walking distance -has a nice BBQ set of tables onlooking the beach -cute wooden benches to seat outside

Review 39:Dead bolt on room would not lock with key when leaving for evening. Knob Lock was fine. TV is all news channels ?

Review 40:The Grounds were simple and well maintained. Privacy is respected. Views and Beach access are great! Staff (Gary) is a great guy and makes you feel at home. Great place for a family reunion !! Good eats in the area . Overall a great stay

Review 41:nothing

Review 42:Friendly atmosphere. The room (nr 7) with a view of the ocean was basic but fulfilled all our needs(practical and esthetic!) Gary and Cathy made us feel welcome, could answer all questions, and put Sea Aire on our list of visit again spots. Walking distance to good food (Pig and Whistle!)

Review 43:I loved everything

Review 44:Great location right on the beach with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shopping nearby. Awesome beds and super friendly staff. A real gem!

Review 45:That I had to leave so soon,I would've loved to stay a couple more days, but I had to get back to work.

Review 46:I really enjoyed everthing about my stay here, for it's location,it was relatively quiet, and really close to a lot of things.I loved looking out my window and seeing the ocean, and sitting out in the courtyard and listening to the surf. The room was very clean, and roomy,i loved everything about it.I will stay there again and again. The staff was very nice and helpful, just very nice people.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Review 47:The motel is right on the beach. The facility itself is old but well taken care of. Very friendly staff. Reminded me of vacations during my childhood.

Review 48:the a/c

Review 49:Nice beach hotel, probably build in the 60ties. Very pretty garden with ample ocean view. Walking distance to restaurants & several live music options.

Review 50:I thought I booked a room on the ocean side and was given a room next to the parking lot. It actually had windows on both sides of room, and the view on both sides was of the parking lot. I asked to be upgraded to the ocean view since I had reserved it, and was told they were sold out and none were available. I explained to them that I wanted an ocean view and would not have reserved the room if I had known I would be looking at two parking lots. She did not offer to refund me. I was stuck staying there. If I could have gotten a refund I would have went to a different hotel with a room available on the ocean.

Review 51:No microwaves

Review 52:The rooms were very clean and the staff very helpful!

Review 53:Everyone at the front desk was super friendly and was able to provide everything we asked for. Great location right on the water.

Review 54:Older motel with a great staff and a fantastic location on the beach. Highly recommended.
