Review 1：The mattress on the bed was so hard as were with the pillows not at all comfortable

Review 2：Hotel was in the heart of town and was walking distance to all sites we wanted to see. Also they had a great breakfast bar.

Review 3：I stayed four days during the New Year's holiday. Because of the holiday, I paid more than usual, but still felt that I received a very good value. My room was very comfortable and well maintained. The hotel's location is in the heart of the city. The abundant breakfast was always appreciated!

Review 4：The staff at the duxton were delightful and very helpful , spent new year here and the hotel gave guests a party in the lobby with free bubbly and drinks flowing all night !!!!

Review 6：Fast internet but intermittent. When we reported it to the hotel, they arranged our own personal router for wireless/wifi connection right inside our very own room.

Glad we didn't get transfer as it was only 8US$ and the manager in his delayed response quoted 45US$- outrageous! Even the taxi we privately ordered to rtn to the airport was under 10US$ Also, minor issue for some-pillows very hard!

Review 11：Reception poorly organised and unfriendly. We checked in 3 times over a 4 week period. Not once did they have our room request correct. Twice our room wasn't ready in time. Neither time did we get an apology. Just a grim expression. Once we arrived at 5pm after a cycle tour to the Mekong. Tired and in need of showers. Rooms not ready. In spite of a 12pm check out time. Poor.

Review 13：The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was very good and had a nice variety. The room was clean. Overall I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. The location is also very good. If I ever go to Vietnam again I will stay at this hotel.

Review 14：The pool only saw the suns rays in the early morning, otherwise it was too cool to swim in. The rooms facing the main bvld are quite noisy, especially with loud music pumping out of the speakers below, playing music until 11pm.

Review 15：I loved the Club Room upgrade, so worth the US $17 per day which includes breakfast, high tea and evening drinks and nibbles. The only trouble was I went home a few kilos heavier.

Review 18：We had a twin room and it was a good size for two people. Wifi free and fast. Easy to get to and we had a great view of the walking street and river. Would recommend it for a great stay, close to everything.

Review 31：At the time we were staying, the big street in front of the hotel is under reconstruction, so the whole beauty and great location of the hotel is in vain. Instead of that, you get noise from the machines and dust the whole day. Walking is difficult and it's better to avoid this area until the works are finished. Pretty disappointing to see it only when we arrived.
