Reviews for Seehotel Bären
Review 1:Basin in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom.
Review 2:Fabulous bedroom location with balcony looking over Lake. You must go for a room looking over the lake and away from the road behind.
Review 3:the balcony needs some cleaning...
Review 4:Nice view from the hotel. It stated in the booking that my room has a mountain view, but turns out the room is facing the lake with a balcony.
Review 5:Nothing fancy, I didn't pick this place. And probably would not have.
Review 6:Interesting place, nice view of the lake. Rate was okay, breakfast was nice. Good coffee !
Review 7:Poor bedroom. Wash hand basin in the bedroom. Simple maintenance not done like shower head loose I fixed it in a minute. Soap dispenser falling off the wall.
Review 8:Friendly staff felt sorry for them.
Review 9:The service, the hotel staff were so friendly & helpful, the location is perfect and we enjoyed our meal at the hotel. We loved sitting on our balcony after a wonderful day sight seeing.
Review 10:Way too much money for what it was. Dated rooms and dated hotel. Needs a big refurb. The included breakfast was also not very good.
Review 11:Friendly staff and nice that it was right on the lake.
Review 12:Location. Cleanliness. Lake view
Review 13:it was simply superb
Review 14:They put us into a single room, but changed for us.
Review 15:Breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly but a bit uninformed. Had an old world feel to it.
Review 16:None.
Review 17:Very clean, awesome location, great service, food, and drinks.
Review 18:Lovely room with balcony looking out onto the lake. I loved all the decoration in the hotel.
Review 19:View, breakfast, location, staffs...
Review 20:The room I have doesn't have its own toilet and shower. The shower is cross the hall and the toilet is down the hall by the stairs. I can't complain because it's the last room in the hotel and the price was reasonable. But don't book Room 6 unless it's the last room available.
Review 21:Nice hotel overall. Staff was helpful and gave me extra wifi time. There is a good selection of breakfast items. The view of from the balcony is priceless.
Review 22:The bed was old and lumpy. Overall the hotel looks like something from the 50 s it needs a major revamp.very outdated. No fridge.
Review 23:The view from our room overlooked the lake.parking facilities .
Review 24:Excellent location (though most hotel in the Brienz seem well located). Great room, spacious, comfortable, terrace with amazing lake/mountain view. Receponists very nice, friendly and helpfull. Did not want to leave - either Brienz or this hotel.
Review 25:I had a single room without wc and shower; I would like to find in theroom clear information where I can find a common wc and shower room(anyway, they where close by and very clean
Review 26:Very quiet small hotel, breathtaking view. My advice - for a breakfasttake a bread and a jam/confiture from a big jar (homemade? It wasabout 6 to choose from) a you will be in heaven
Review 27:I could hear the voices in room above me although bathroom door was closed.
Review 28:very friendly and efficient staff at reception as well as in Restaurant. Last minute cancellation for my friend. They did not charge cancellation fees since they could sell the room to someone else.
Review 29:It was the very beginning of the summer season (June 3-6) and my only observation is that the hotel would have looked so much more attractive on the lakeside with all of the garden umbrellas out.
Review 30:I was travelling alone so booked a single room. The room was spotlessly clean with a generous balcony overlooking Lake Brienz, a stunning view at anytime of day or night. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean. The buffet breakfast was varied foods, all delicious and well presented. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I ate in the restaurant on the first evening of 3 and the food was well cooked with an extensive menu and quite reasonably priced, the portions were large. The location allows for trips on the local Rotthorn funicular railway, the Jungfrau boat travelling to Interlaken, the station and several other tourist attractions. The hotel was value for money and I would definitely return.
Review 31:The stay was too short... :-)
Review 32:Warm, welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and dedicated staff, excellent food, exceptional variety off local and foreign beers, beautiful lakeside situation.
Review 33:The hotel reception close after 7:00 pm and reopen at 9:00 am which is strange. Also, breakfast is not that good
Review 34:Location was great
Review 35:Nice view in the balcony!
