Review 1：The staff was curt. The pillows were very small. The shower pressure was non-existent.
Review 2：The room was tastefully modeled. The hotel was close to several restaurants, a beach and a shopping mall. It was inexpensive.
Review 3：Nothing was bad; it was like a little motel from the 50s from the outside, and surrounded by commercial buildings. Breakfast was meager.
Review 4：Room surprisingly nice and recently renovated despite low price. We chose because of the low price and because we were heading north the next morning (came to the Monterey to see the Mission and the Monarch butterfly wintering sanctuary).
Review 5：Staff not helping guests with 18 hour power outage. Could have provided water, candles, flashlights or information on where food was available.

Review 7：We were met with a warm welcome when we arrived, the room was clean and comfortable, microwave,fridge very handy. No problems parking, good breakfast facility and choice of food and drinks, the whole appearance of the property was clean and inviting, would definitely come again
Review 8：Dirty face towels. Thread bare towels. Did not like another door leading to tiny yard at back of store and yard full of cigarette ends. Dull old room carpet , old fashion bedding. People out side rooms smoking . Sheets clean but very creased and old . Never again and over priced.

Review 27：Good premises but poor investment in ongoing stuff. Upon arrival we requested a fresh blanket as it was disgustingly stained. Towels are worn out and face towel size. Shampoo comes in small bags and breakfast is as basic is it gets. If you’ve been to “Super 8” chain - it’s about the same.

Review 33：There is nobody at the reception, you might need to wait quite long. Poor breakfast, I wouldn't count on it. i.e. at 9 am there was no more milk, fridge was locked and nobody around. I wasn't lucky with my neighbors, loud music etc.

Review 38：Spotlessly clean! Quiet, solid building. Convenient to restaurants, etc. Very comfortable bed and furnishing. Simple but thoughtful arrangement - even the refrigerator was not the noisy cheap type you often find in hotel rooms. Sooooo nice!

Rooms have been recently renovated, bathroom is super clean, white and updated, cable tv, fridge, table with two chairs, and microwave in the room. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Free wifi, breakfast, and parking. Nice landscape, and a short walk away from a few restaurants and markets. It's really close to Monterrey. I'm going back in April and staying here again!
Review 40：I don't think the blanket has ever been washed. Carpet on the floor. There was nothing to do within walking distance from the motel, not even a convenience store. No restaurants around either.
Review 41：Bigger room than expected. Cheap and with a nice breakfast. Bathroom seemed very clean. Parking available. Fridge and microwave in the room. Conveniently located to head down to Big Sur, traveling from San Francisco.

Review 44：it was operated by a family. All of them were very IMPOLITE & RUDE. They made a mistake when we checked in. They blamed us with disgusting eyesight! The towels were grey colored and with 'bloody spot' and should be replaced!!! We will never go back again and will never recommend to anyone!!!
