Review 1：Buffet was excellent, especially the dungeness crabs. All of the activities with the cars from 'Cruising the Coast' was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Review 2：There was a huge ac unit outside our room that kept us awake most thenight both nights we stayed. The room was dirty. There was hair in theshower,had dirty carpet that clearly wasn't vacuumed, and dirtycountertops (toothpaste) in the bathroom. Three out of the four tableswe played at had extremely rude dealers. They weren't friendly whatso ever and seemed to basically hate their job. Also, the location ofthe hotel, we realized after checking in, is directly across from therailroad tracks and we could hear the train about ever two hours or sothroughout our stay. Also, when we were sent our reservation emailconformation it stated no where on the email that we would need to havea debit/credit card with a balance of at least $100 on to even checkin to our room. Since we use a prepaid card...we had to leave the hotel,drive to cvs 8 miles away, load our prepaid card and drive back again tofibally check in which took nearly 45 mins total. It was a waste of ourtime that we could've been spending at the room/casino! The foodat the buffet (dessert and salad specifically) looked and tasted as ifit had been sitting out for more than 6 hours under a lamp.

Review 12：I booked my room one month in advance requesting a pool side 1st floor walk-out and when we arrived they gave us room #229 at the rear of the hotel 2nd floor away from everything and everyone it was horrible. So, we immediately checked back out within minutes of arriving after driving 3hrs to get there. The hotel manager told us she saw and read the notes of the request but the person whom gave out the room didn't do the rooms like she should have and that's why our room was over-looked. We will never-ever visit this hotel again.

Review 13：i had reservations for almost 6 months and when I arrived I was put in a room with "limited view" which translated to looking at a big wall and a roof.... Not happy! I would expect that type of room when I reserve at last minute

Review 15：No mini fridge. Really? The very cheapest motels have a little fridge. We couldn't keep anything cold, including some milk and my daughter's medication. I found that to be just awful. A deal breaker. We won't stay there again.

Review 16：We liked the pools, but one was closed the entire time we were there. Therefore the remaining pool was quite crowded. Some older kids were engaging in a very rambunctious game of football in the water which left no room for the many small children.Nobody bothered to tell them to stop.

Review 20：Some of the staff are outstanding, particularly Fran and Carolyn at the Den as well as Lee at the 9th floor bar. All in all, this hotel is much better than some of the rating suggest, so it was a pleasant surprise to us.

Review 21：The property looks nice from the front but in back is simply an old and noisy hotel. No elevators to rooms in back. Staff at front desk is not friendly and extremely slow with long check in lines.

Review 31：The location was very good. Easy crossing the street to the beach. Food was good. The machines were good as well. Nice pool but not much entertainment during the week days. Really there isn't any entertainment. A lounge, The Blue, which is nice with TV's around. I think they might have music on the weekend. If you want a room by the pool, make sure you say in front of the pool, not a pool view. You may be put at the very end where I was. I was very far away and really couldn't see the pool unless I walked out my back door, and then you saw fence.

Being from Long Beach we were really looking forward to eating at the Buffett on the nights we were there and we were not disappointed in any way!! The first night we ate we had a small family reunion and needed a table for 14 the girls took care of us and even though we had to wait on some of our party to arrive they were very gracious and we were never questioned about how much longer before the others would arrive!! Our server was very good I think her name was Betty she kept everyone's glasses full and trash cleaned away very quickly !! If we asked for anything it was there before we could blink our eyes!! There were other large parties that same evening of the 18th of April but I feel we received the best service ever!! The Crabs and Crawfish were amazing it was so worth the 8 hour drive to be able to eat until none of us were able to walk out we all waddled out!! So thank you for all of the amazing service and great food!!!!We will be back in October to visit again and we will be there to eat at the Buffett again!!!!!!! The rooms were nice and clean and the cookies were a very nice touch !! They were good and we all enjoyed them !!!!

Review 48：Bathroom had not been cleaned properly. There was hair left in the tub. We chose this hotel because of the location of the beach, but the beach area was full of broken pylons from a building that had been their before. My son tripped and badly cut his hand while sing there. This should been mentioned.

The frot desk tried to make us pay 100$ per room for a security deposit when the room was only 80$ so we called the front desk manager. She immediately came out saying it's 300$ no hi maam hi sir, so incredibly rude. So we called a manager above her and he was reasonable! He was the only nice person! But besides that every person was rude! Also we asked for 3 rooms near eachother all our rooms were on different floors which was so inconvenient and the front desk didn't care .The front desk and security asking for my id every time I walked out of the elevator! I would not recommend this place to anyone because the staff is so un welcoming! They all need to work on there attitudes now the golden nugget I would recommend a million times over or even the motel 6 they all had customer service then this place!

The tile around the inside of the pool was in poor condition, and the area around the pool was extremely slippery. Many channels on TV were very fuzzy.

All they have is a swimming pools which were FANTASTIC. The swimming pools are FANTASTIC, they are kept very nice. I also didn't like the showers in rooms. The shower heads were not good and neither were the turn on and off. Just had a hard time figuring out how to work it.
