This hotel is near the Tulare County Fairgrounds, Preferred Outlets at Tulare, Galaxy Tulare 10 movie theater and the World Ag Expo, held in February. Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park are about one hour away.
The Tulare Golf Course, Tulare Historical Museum and the Visalia Municipal Airport are minutes from the hotel. There are a variety of restaurants and shopping centers in the surrounding area.

Review 1：Checked it late, the front desk person was great. Very friendly and had great suggestions for food. Location was great, and room was comfortable, clean, and quiet.
Review 2：It was kind of hard to find the place, it sets back off the street. The hallways were really hot, and the elevator had to be re-set before we could go up to our room, but the front desk staff was a doll, she did everything with a smile.

Review 4：We had a third floor room and twice, the elevator did not come when called to the lobby. My traveling companion has osteoarthritis in both knees and climbing the stairs was difficult. I even tried going to the second and third floors to call the elevator so it would go down to the lobby, but they would not call the elevator either. There was no temperature control in our room's refrigerator.
Review 5：Check in and check out were easy and fast. The room was clean and large enough for the two of us to stretch out. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Review 6：Not knowing ahead of time that paying with cash meant a large deposit which depleted my available spending monies for the event in which I was visiting Tulare, CA .

Review 8：What a surprise - a kitchen..nothing to cook with and a lovely message saying the kitchen could only be used if you paid for a room with the kitchen Pricelist of what would be charged if anything was removed from the room or stained When we arrived they didn't have our booking. New staff member was working that day and I assume she just didn't see the reservation. After 30 mins on the phone with booking.com, they faxed the hotel a new confirmation.

Review 10：I had a hard time sleeping because the bed was so firm. But, that's not the fault of the hotel, at home, I'm use to a Sleep Number Bed and, I can raise and lower my head and/or feet when I need too.

Review 12：Deapite the reviews this hotel is disgusting. When we arrived we found a huge cockrouch walking from the laundry to the main corridoir of the lobby after we checked-in: welcome. The receptionist had to kill it and she was scared and disgusted herself. Hair on the towels which did not seem tob claened properly. The moquet waa filthy and there was a terrible smell of smoke in the corridoirs even if the rooms are non-smoking. We did not even feel safe to have brakfast there considering that the tables were downstairs just next to the laundry where we saw the cockroach. I asked for at least a discount but they said it was not possible cause I had made reservation through booking. There is nothing in the sorrounding area. Complete desolation. Waste of money.
Review 13：Someone at the end of the hallway on my floor was a little too 420 friendly and it smelled like weed my first night...(but maybe that made me sleep well) haha!
Review 14：The room was large, immaculate, the bed was the first comfortable one I have slept in (better than Marriot, Hyatt, Holiday Inn) The staff was exceptional: they located restaurant info., movie info., contacted me when the hotel business pc was available, provided change and sold bottles of water at the front desk in 104 degree weather believe me, that was awesome!

Review 54：I am a smoker and of course got a smoking room. I expected the room to smell of smoke but did not expect that the walls would be so yellow from the nicotine. They only clean them twice a year I was told so smokers be prepared.
