Reviews for America's Tent Lodges Bryce Canyon
Review 1:We expected that since "linens and blankets are featured", wedid not need to bring additional linens. We were wrong. In late July, the temps. At night get down to the low to mid 40's (f), and the"linens" that were provided are really just sheets, some ofwhich didn't fit, and a very light throw. We really needed thermalsleeping bags. I've "glamped" at other establishments, even much less expensive ones near other national parks, and sleepingbags suited for the weather were always provided. Also, they do notprovide towels. At all. Apparently, this is standard for America'sTent Lodges, which just contracts some of the space at the koa. The koastaff were very nice, but they couldn't really do much. Otherissues: Someone had apparently taken the table and chairs from our"luxury tent", so there was nowhere to sit. There were coffeeand tea facilities (and everything you'd need to cook), but nocoffee or tea or anything. As with some of these other issues, that's just different than what we expected based on thedescriptions and the price. The tents are very close together. There wasa neighboring tent about 3 feet to one side, and an rv just a few feetfrom the back of the tent. Don't expect any privacy. And the lightsat the campground are on all night, so one thing you won't need is aflashlight.
Review 2:The tent itself was pretty awesome. Enormous, with 2 separate bedroomareas, and real twin beds in one. The other had a queen sized bed, though that was more of just a foam pad. To be honest, my cheapo campinggear would have been more comfortable than the queen bed, but it wasreally nice not to have to set it up. There is also power in the tents, lights, a coffee maker, a two-burner electric stove, etc. If we werestaying for more than a night, it would have been pretty awesome (thoughif we were staying for more than a night, I probably would have savedmyself the >$100/night cost and pitched my own tent). The wifiwas great. The tent we stayed in had a grill outside but no fire pit.
