Reviews for Canyon Lodge Motel
Review 1:I wish there was a table to play board games but we figured out a way anyways.
Review 2:It was good value for the price.Nice and warm, liked the decor, loved the heater in the bathroom and the parking was great.
Review 3:I would have liked a coffee maker in the room or coffee in the lobby in the morning.
Review 4:The place was all I needed- basic but very clean and comfortable with a microwave and fridge. The manager was extremely helpful and kind.
Review 5:No black-out drapes in the room and too much lighting outside. Very difficult to sleep well in bright lights. We hung a bedspread over the window the second night so we could get some sleep. Everything in the room and bathroom needs to be updated. The shower had missing tiles and mold.
Review 6:This hotel is old and in need of many upgrades. That didn't bother us too much as long as it was clean. We were outdoors most of the time. We just needed a room to sleep and it worked fine for us.
Review 7:Good location - close to Bryce National Park and Zion. The family who owns it takes good care of it. They keep it very clean, they are very friendly and welcoming. We got a suite with 3 connected rooms to accommodate the 6 of us. We had enough room.
Review 8:The TV was very small being only 19 inches. The bathroom was tiny.
Review 9:The front desk staff was super friendly. The room was adequate - being clean and comfortable. Interior was inviting despite being an older motel.
Review 10:The motell is very old and probably hasn't been updated since the 70s. The bathroom was dark. There were no blockout shades in room, so lights from outside (which were on all night) came in. There was no breakfast. We paid the same price as we paid for newer places with breakfast. I wouldn't recommend.
Review 11:This hotel was a relative short distance to Zion.
Review 12:It was a little small.
Review 13:The staff were exceptional! They were expecting us and made us feel right at home! The town is so close to Bryce National Park that it made it easy for us to come back and nap between hiking and playing!
Review 14:The building seemed quite old and the price seemed a little high for the facilities, but maybe it was because of the closeness to Bryce.
Review 15:Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Review 16:You will hear everything that your adjoining neighbor does -- from snoring to using the bathroom. Facilities are clean, but dated.
Review 17:A good location and a friendly staff. Panguitch is a short drive to Bryce Canyon and the rates are more affordable that staying in the immediate vicinity of the park.
Review 18:Pleasant, comfortable room. Good location for Bryce Nat'l Park. Bench outside room was a nice plus for evening relaxing. Very conscientious owners regarding comfort of guests. Great wifi allowed me to stay in touch with those at home.
Review 19:The bathroom was uninviting. There was mildew on the shower curtain and bathtub caulk. The tub enamel was worn away and dingy. We found restaurants lacking in Panguitch. As we had to drive towards Bryce 20 minutes to find food anyway, next time I would stay closer to Bryce.
Review 20:Most of the room was clean. Staff seemed nice. Heater worked well on a cold night.
Review 21:Rooms were small and the bathroom could use an update as it was probably from the 60's or 70's. The doors could use deadbolt locks rather than just a handle lock which felt rather flimsy and peep holes. In order to get maid service apparently you have to put the placard on the door handle asking for it otherwise your room will be the same as when you leave it in the morning.
Review 22:The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and quiet.
Review 23:There was no ice machine on site. When we first walked in, the room smelled strongly of cleaning products.
Review 24:The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Review 25:Staff was nice, and super helpful..
Review 26:Bathroom very small, dirty and falling apart. Entire room needs to be gutted and redone.
Review 27:Nothing
Review 28:The decor was old, peeling paint in room in several areas. The tv was a very old model. Needed some very serious updates.
Review 29:Staff were very friendly.
Review 30:Greatly needs remodeling.
Review 31:Clean
Review 32:We had one of the newly renovated rooms. The owners are very hard working and did the redo themselves, including tile work in the bathroom.
Review 33:bathrion was terrible!!!!
Review 34:Location
Review 35:The room needed some serious TLC - the bath tub, while clean, was covered in scratches. The furnishings were dated.
Review 36:Very friendly staff
Review 37:Tiny and outmoded bathroom, darkness of the rooms
Review 38:3 bed rooms, comfort of beds, free Wifi

Review 57:Panguitch is ok for an overnight stop (unless you arrive on a sunday) but not suitable as a base for exploring the surrounding parks. Traveller services are not well developed
Review 58:Good motel with a nice personal touch.
