Reviews for Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center

Review 1:The location , but the hotel over all was clean, comfortable , the staff very friendly and helpful. would choose to stay here over any hotel in downtown Denver

Review 2:restaurant staff was nice, but the breakfast was terrible. The walls were thin, not for light sleepers.

Review 3:great staff, excellent location, terrific city view.

Review 4:This was a very quick stay so we didn't use much of the Hyatt's facilities beyond the bed. The room was comfortable and quiet and we got a good night's sleep. I am very family with the Hyatt Regency though and it is first class.

Review 5:My boyfriend and I had fun little getaway at this location. The location is perfect! We walked everywhere, which was pretty nice. I also lost my glasses in the hotel and they promptly searched and returned them to me. It took them less than 20 minutes to deliver some (complementary) shaving and dental care packages to our room. They also upgraded us to the 21st floor without an additional charges. Parking was super cheap at $29 a day!

Review 6:We had breakfast at the altitude breakfast the morning we were checking out and I was pretty disappointed. For such a nice hotel the food was bland and seemed cheap topped with canned veggies.

Review 7:The hotel was very cool. Very nice facility. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Came to Denver for the Broncos game and was perfect location to the stadium.

Review 8:The only negative thing was we waited 40 minutes to find a parking space in the Hyatt garage and were only left with the valet option which was more expensive. I think the Hyatt should have had someone monitoring the availability of the parking garage.

Review 9:We loved the location, heated swimming pool and hot tub! Also enjoyed the Xmas decorations. Desk staff was particularly welcoming!

Review 10:Valet parking area.

Review 11:Check in was very easy. At check in we were offered a room with a city/mountain view without asking for one. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location was very convenient and within walking distance of the 16th street mall.

Review 12:When I arrived at the hotel, they said that your room includes a breakfast meal, but actually they charged me.

Review 13:they have a good location, swimming pool in door, and good staff.

Review 14:I slept here the night of my birthday and had an excellent time. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, treated myself and my girlfriend to two drinks at the bar (tallest in Denver I believe) as well as two meals for breakfast. There were many options for breakfast! Our choice was the 5280 omelette, I must say it was absolutely delicious. Thanks to all the people who made it a hotel stay to remember!

Review 15:None

Review 16:Fabulous hotel with excellent rooms amenities and staff! They are really helpful and friendly. I made a booking error and they happily changed the day for me even though it was non refundable. What a great attitude here. Staying again in a few days, highly recommend

Review 17:The location was great and was easily accessible to areas we wanted to go downtown. Our view from the room was absolutely beautiful! This hotel was by far one of the best I've ever been to. Staff was great! Everything there was just a wonderful experience. We will be back again!

Review 18:Booked a King room on Club Level with mountain view, although room was spacious, a common wall with elevator made it very noisy. The staff accommodated us to another room, but it did not have the same layout or view.

Review 19:The club level was good

Review 20:In the promotion it said they will provide breakfast but unfortunately after I book the hotel they say : THE RATE IS NOT WITH THE BREAKFAST ???????????????????????

Review 21:I like the hotel is convinient to Civic center and more attractions

Review 22:Valet parking was $39 night, which would be fine, except that they ran out of self-parking and the less expensive lots nearby were full. Big groups come through here for events, so your floor could be full of noisy teenagers, as mine was.

Review 23:Clean, contemporary, nicely designed hotel. Close to convention center, shopping, transit. Very comfortable bed. Good views. Enjoyed the bar on the 27th floor.

Review 24:Hyatt's parking fee seems astronomical to me. Thespian students extremely loud- hard to sleep but obviously not Hyatt's fault.

Review 25:checking in by computer, customer service and calling me by name w room service. Makes a patron feel extra special. Room service deliverers extremely kind and courteous!!

Review 26:literally couldn't find anything to add or improve, just enjoying all details!

Review 27:Location, view, comfort, facilities, couldn't be better! I loved the fresh made omelette for breakfast with build-up yourself style! :)

Review 28:Would be nice if it was pet friendly at the Downtown location.

Review 29:Outstanding customer service! Extremely satisfied with every part of our experience! It was a wonderful time and the staff was always willing to assist on moment's notice. We will definitely be back!

Review 30:It's much too expensive but there are less alternatives in Denver downtown

Review 31:Staff and room was good and above average, especially the staff is very good

Review 32:I was told this was a double room with a sitting room. A chaise lounge chair up against the window does not constitute a "sitting room".

Review 33:Beautifully kept & clean facility

Review 34:Normally I would give this hotel 5 stars, but when we stayed last weekend they drained the pool for cleaning and didn't give us any advance notice (neither when we made the reservation nor when we checked in). The pool is an important feature for our visits, so we were a bit disappointed this time. Also, the front desk was very confusing and, even though we went through great pains to assign the two different rooms correctly with respective credit cards, they still got it wrong. Although the birthday guest was promised complimentary valet parking, it turned out they credited the other guestroom in our party instead because of this mix-up!

Review 35:Great location in downtown Denver, friendly (although scattered) front desk staff.

Review 36:Breakfast buffet was a bit tame - could do with a bit more choice.

Review 37:Great location and rooms. Clean and classy with a good lobby bar to unwind in after a day's work.

Review 38:I stay often as l travel through Denver regularly, it is by far the best and most comfortable stay you could have in Colorado. Location, staff willingness to assist , best equipt gym l have ever seen in a hotel and comfortable beds.

Review 39:As with all motels in downtown Denver, it is a little pricey. Sunday night stay with parking was over $280 with tax.

Review 40:Very nice motel. Clean with excellent staff. Great location to everything downtown

Review 41:Really liked everything about it!!

Review 42:Room was clean and spacious. Bed was really comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed everything about our stay!!

Review 43:Booking could not be found even though I provided a copy of the confirmatin. Situation was handled very badly by the staff. Eventaully I was given an club room by way of an apology but the damage had been done

Review 44:Excellent location for the conference center

Review 45:The value of the room I felt didn't pay for the luxories. It was still $6 for a cocktail at the regency club...how much is at the regular bar in the lobby?!? Way too much money for someone paying over a grand for a room

Review 46:Adrian at the regency club was a top notch employee. So helpful when we asked for recommendations on places to eat, see etc and such great great service.

Review 47:The first room had an issue with the door lock and staff was very quick in responding to a room change request. Bar on the top floor has a very nice view.

Review 48:The $30 fee for valet option. Self parking for free is a couple blocks down the street also.

Review 49:Perfect location, just a block away from the Denver Pavilions. Awesome view from our room. Very pleasant staff members!

Review 50:Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, helpful. Dining options were great. Walking distance from 16th Street Mall.

Review 51:When purchasing snacks from the small cafe in lobby staff could have been a bit friendlier.

Review 52:The stay was an over all great experience. Everything was clean and front desk staff was friendly.

Review 53:We stayed here on the last night of our Colorado trip. Upon check-in the clerk noted it was my husband's birthday so she gave us a credit on the room. Very nice gesture. Of course we used it in the Peaks Lounge on the 27th floor :-) I suppose since it was a Monday night the hotel wasn't very full so we had our choice of mountain or city view. We choose mountain and lucked out because it was clear on that day. The hotel is very centrally located and we parked the car and walked or used the Mall trains to get around downtown Denver. The room was nicely appointed - modern decor - with very comfortable beds. Also, it was very quiet which is nice when needing a good night's sleep. We used the self-park since it was under the hotel and not a hassle at all. I would definitely stay here again while in Denver.

Review 54:Slight problem with standard of cleaning on arrival but hotel staff very good at rectifying this

Review 55:Qualitt of room, helpfulness of staff, general ambience of hotel

Review 56:Parking should be included for guests staying in the hotel.

Review 57:The staff was all amazing; they made us feel like we were important and took good care of us.

Review 58:The fact that you pay a lot extra for the parking.

Review 59:The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and large, with nice view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable.

Review 60:High pitched whistling noise in a room that was not coming from the air conditioner. We think it was coming from the hot water pipes in the walls. I had a lot of trouble sleeping. Also we went walking at night to eat and I felt a little scared in the neighborhood .

Review 61:Very clean, modern, nice staff

Review 62:My only complaint was there was only 1 coffee cup, 1 coffee and 1 glass in the room when we got there. A quick call to the front desk and we were taken care of in no time.

Review 63:Beautiful place! Very quiet, clean and updated. Staff was great and helpful. Had a wonderful view from one of the top floors of the mountains. Very easy check-in.

Review 64:No sound proof between rooms you can hear everything coming from the next room, no slippers, no bathroom glasses, no shower gel.

Review 65:The TV, location and lobby

Review 66:Paying extra for parking when we weren't told anything about it was insane. When you are paying as much as we did for a room parking should be included

Review 67:Liked the location

Review 68:My only problem was the bed I slept on, but it was probably just my back.

Review 69:We loved everthing about the hotel. It was so convenient with the location of the places we had to go to. Ny daughter and husbabd also enkoyed several of the amenities that were available to us.

Review 70:Excellent service from everyone we met. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was an excellent value and the food was great.

Review 71:We were offered a room with a pull out couch for a bed upon arrival even though we requested a king bed. Then our room smelled like cigarette smoke.

Review 72:The 1st room smelled like cigarette smoke so we called to the front desk and with no questions asked they immediately found us another room.

Review 73:Nothing

Review 74:Excellent staff, great location & pretty much everything else. Stayed for a total of 8 nights over a 2-week period in July. Great buffet breakfast, 30 seconds from the Convention centre and a 2-minute walk to 16th street (where all the shops, bars and restaurants are). Larimer Square with higher-end restaurants is a 10-minute stroll away. Would definitely stay here again if in Denver.

Review 75:The pool area is not child-friendly. I spoke to the concierge about the issue. The sign by the hot tub says, "No children under the age of 16." All of the other signs say "No children under the age of 16 unless accompanied by an adult." Another guest was very rude to our grandchildren insisting that they leave the hot tub even though we were there with them.

Review 76:The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent.

Review 77:Had to pay extra for parking not told to me when I booked or at check in, no fridge in room, no coffee in room either

Review 78:The place was very nice and clean and staff was nice as well

Review 79:Swimming pool was too small and full of kids

Review 80:Location , bars restaurant and the staff were excellent from valets to bar staff particularly the staff on 27th floor bar

Review 81:Found dirty Q tip under pillow when we arrived. We did not sleep in that bed Room was finally cleaned the next day at 4:55pm. Maid took dirty & left no clean towels.

Review 82:Location, view and value for $.

Review 83:Nothing was complimentary, not even the parking. If there was a freebreakfast in the morning, we missed the signs/ads for it. In-hotelstore, Perk, was ridiculously overpriced. Nearly $20 for 2 coffees and a7oz juice.. And the nerve to place a tip cup at the register!

Review 84:We absolutely loved the room service! The hotel is beautiful, and thecomfort of the room swallowed us whole after a long day at Elitches!

Review 85:The staff was amazing from the valets to the restaurant staff. The rooms were clean and luxurious. We loved the city view from the 31st floor. The elevator was the fastest elevator we had had ever been on. The best part of the hotel was the close proximity to downtown restaurants and businesses.

Review 86:You have to pay for parking which is 29$ a night personally I think that is ridiculous for the price you pay for the room!! I would look for other options next time I go!!!

Review 87:The location was convenient to 16th street mall and within walking distance of the ball park!

Review 88:A mild complaint. It was unusually chilly in Denver and I would have liked the option of a little heat!

Review 89:I was ther with my daughter and 2 grand children ages 2 and 4. They made us feel very comfortable and were great with the kids .

Review 90:Mattress needed to be flipped or replaced. It had lived it's useful life. Couldn't get the temperature low enough in the room. It was very stuffy

Review 91:Nice hotel, great lobby bar and restaurant

Review 92:No bad experience.

Review 93:Location of the hotel is great. Staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. This is my new preferred hotel in Denver. Great value for money too.

Review 94:This is a great hotel in a fantastic location in downtown Denver. If you want a reasonably priced room at a hotel in the middle of everything, this is a good option.

Review 95:Someone knocking on my door at 2:15 am. Not really a negative, one call to night operator and security quickly removed the problem. Staff went overboard to take care of us even though it really was not their fault.

Review 96:Staff was exceptional. They pay great attention to the details.

Review 97:They stopped serving food at midnight! The concert was over at 11pm and when we got back to hotel at 1135pm and tried to place an order for food and we were turned down At 12!

Review 98:Very convenient to Coor field.

Review 99:decor a bit old and couches in lobby looked tired and worn out, fine but nothing extra special... except great sculpture on the wall in lobby!

Review 100:good location, close to Pepsi center, great breakfast selection and love the bar/restaurant up top. More of a convention center hotel

Review 101:Looked like Valet was a mess, but I had already read about that ahead of time and didn't use it.

Review 102:Loved the room and the layout of the hotel itself. The bed was wonderful and the breakfast was out of this world! SOO worth it!

Review 103:Towels in the bathroom weren't very good.

Review 104:the location to 16th Street and Coors Field was very good. Compared to other hotels nearby, I thought we got the best value for our money at the Hyatt Regency.

Review 105:Reception felt a little impersonal. Trouble finding a taxi, and the one we got was not very professional.

Review 106:Very reduced rates through the website. Comfortable bed, clean and modern hotel.

Review 107:No complaints.

Review 108:Enjoyed live music at clocktower, sushi, and saw some sights very close to the hotel. The bus was simple and fast, allowing some quick ground coverage while absorbing the vibrant views.

Review 109:Your valet cussed out my cab driver when we got there for apparently not knowing the "unwritten rules of his driveway". Not a good welcome. Somebody better get a hold of him and remind him he isn't the king of the driveway, he's a Hyatt hospitality specialist for everyone.

Review 110:Great facility, location and services.

Review 111:We could have done without the rain and snow! We did not see the mountains the whole 3 days we were in Denver.

Review 112:All of his answers and suggestions were so spot on! His professionalism enhanced our vacation greatly.

Review 113:Great Location, staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived in the middle of a Comic Con convention but never felt out of place, or that we were not as important as the conventioneers.

Review 114:We were in for 420 and u cant smoke in the hotel, they should totally rent vaporizers, check out the hot tub, the view is amazing

Review 115:Everything was amazing, i stay in many hotels, worth the price,

Review 116:No complimentary breakfast. Had to pay a lot for parking. The plumbing made such loud noises it woke me up 2 times during the night. When I told mgt they just said sorry thx for letting us know..I paid a lot for that hotel not to be awakened by banging noise in the night!

Review 117:Very clean, lovely lobby. And great location and great view!

Review 118:I didn't like leaving...!

Review 119:the staff was amazing helpful and friendly.yegenia at the front desk was awesome.the views the amenities all just amazing.

Review 120:Staff was rude, and no breakfast for the amount you pay to stay there.

Review 121:Location is great, only a few black from shopping. Room was beautiful, and very clean. The hotel was beautiful in general!

Review 122:food was fair, a bit expensive, walls were paper thin could hear neighbors clearly. No in room water without charge.

Review 123:clean, access to plugs, staff was excellent

Review 124:When I had rented the room I was pretty sure that I had read that parking was free. Paid $39 for valet since we were in a hurry to get to a concert. I understand charging people who are not staying at the hotel but not guests.

Review 125:The staff was friendly and we were able to check in at no time. There was an employee coordinating the check in process which helped a lot. The room and bed were great. Had a great view of the mountains and the city itself.

Review 126:Because of the kiosk check in etc I did not have much contact with staff. Made it more impersonal. I realize it saves you money but would rather t Have personal service. Getting car from valet took a long, long time.

Review 127:Room and the lobby etc. just the decor and light airy feeling. Coffee shoppe was great. Really gave a wonderful discount when I brought my own cup !! We need to do that to help the planet and have less garbage.

Review 128:Paying for parking. For $189.00 for two of us one night. Should not pay $28.00 a night for parking. Breakfast.

Review 129:Being able to park my own car. Dinner in the hotel restaurant. Very good and plenty of flavor.

Review 130:It's a very big hotel and sometimes receptions/events are organized at the lobby level, makes it a bit less suitable for those in search of tranquility.

Review 131:Nice rooms and very comfortable beds. Mountain views from one side of the building are stunning. Good restaurant and plenty of restaurants in neighbourhood of hotel. Starbucks shop/corner is also a plus. The staff were wonderful and did close to the impossible to solve some problems that emerged during my stay and to make me feel at home, very much appreciated.

Review 132:The hotel was just across the street from the Denver Convention Center where we needed to go that night. We could walk right over there and back after dark and weren't afraid of getting mugged.

Review 133:I paid for parking, however there was no spaces available. I was told a $50.00 credit was given to me by the hotel. When i received my confirmation of payment by my credit card company, No credit was received?

Review 134:Almost everything.

Review 135:Great views, large, expansive hotel with better-than-expected restaurants, great gym and nice, private quiet rooms. Close to everything. Large meeting spaces and convention areas. As a couple on a vacation - it was fun to see all the different groups come and go.
