Reviews for Village Inn

Review 1:There was used leftover soap bar left in shower. One of the shampoo packets had been opened and used. I was not provided secret log-on code for wifi and since I didn 't realize this until after bedtime and since there are no in room phones I was unable to complete the work that I needed to do as I was not slumping down to the office in me nightclothes.

Review 2:The bed was imminently sleepable.

Review 3:Quite noisy air-conditioning but after turn off there was really hot in the room. So you have to make a compromise between hot or noise.

Review 4:Friendly woman at the reception. She helped us with laundry, gave us a soap and recommended few restaurants in surroundings.

Review 5:This place is a roach motel! Nothing in the listed amenities is true.Thetelevision is not operable nor the remote. There us no microwave, iron,no operable refrigerator or A.C.. There are plenty of roaches!!! Ownersare very nasty with customer service and charged me more online thanwhat was listed in presence.

Review 6:Not a bad experience ! But they not give it what they offer !

Review 7:They offer fridge in each room !! But only one room have it !! Offer wifi ,, but never work !!

Review 8:It was in a really bad location. They didn't have an wifi password so we never got to connect. The breakfast is only until 9am and when we got there, there were only 2 pieces of bread. We saw lots of homeless people around that area. the bedrooms were okay, but I don't know if we would go back.

Review 9:The internet connection kept disappearing. The shower curtain needed to be replaced

Review 10:The value. I paid $50 for two Queen beds, with fridge, TV and microwave oven. I checked in earlier than 3PM with no addtl charge

Review 11:Price was quite high and staff was not as friendly as we were used to.

Review 12:Nice cabin and really quiet. If I would want to stay in this Region for more than 1 or 2 nights this would be great.

Review 13:I had chosen to stay @ the Village Inn after finding a dead roach between the two beds the previous night @ a Motel 6 amongst other things. ....UGH, I should've Just Stayed.. As soon as I enter the bathroom, there's a patially live belly-up waterbug right behind the toilet, then there are 2 more actual live adult looking roaches hanging out in the shower.. There was black mold starting to form by the prison sized window.. And the window itself, had a fair accumulation of a black matter on it ..check in time is NOT until 3:00pm & the check out time, 11:15am & if you happen to NOT be returning to your room until AFTER midnight of your stay, your key WONT work

Review 14:The shower head did not work well. I didn't have my children shower because the water came out to hard with this type of shower head. We could not adjust it.

Review 15:The price was right. Staff was friendly. They provided extra towels and pillows.

Review 16:The WiFi is terrible. Yes, it's free (and no password needed too) but the connection was super slow. It would randomly disconnect and reconnect. Even if it was connected, I barely got 2 bars. 3, if I was lucky.

Review 17:I liked the friendliness of the staff and how welcoming they were.

Review 18:Wifi doesn't work, the heating stopped working (cold!) and there were some scary looking people near the laundry facilities, reminiscent of characters in Breaking Bad.

Review 19:Everything is fine about this place for the money, but wifi wasn't working.

Review 20:The room felt like a jail room. the vending machine didn't work and we had to walk to a store. Our checkout time said 11 and the manager walked in on us at 8am without ever knocking first!

Review 21:Cost

Review 22:It was a lot of bed bug all over, the room was dirty, was bitten by bedbugs in the end I had to go to the doctor because they were all over my body. went to reception and did not solve anything.

Review 23:Nothing

Review 24:Don't Park on the South Side of the Property! Park on the North side. Figure it out before you go there. On the South lot you barely have enough room to drive in and park, then you'll have to back out all the way into the street. The place seems ghetto and scary. But it's fine. Nobody is around at night.

Review 25:The bathroom had tile. Room was painted like a Mexican village. Nice flat screen TV.

Review 26:Great value. They have laundry facilities and an ice machine which came in handy for us. Cable TV was good. Wifi was a bit slow. Staff nice and helpful

Review 27:Cleanness of bathroom can be questioned but mostly it has not been renovated for some time. The rest was totally fine.

Review 28:Cheap, cheap, cheap. Okay location and not far from Sequoia National park if you travelling there.

Review 84:Rooms are very low budget and bed was not comfortable at all, very veryold and small tv, needs brand new fresh clean towels and face towels inbathrooms and better comforters and pillows for the bed. Room was fullof mold. I bet not get sick from that night. Would nerver return if Iwasn't on a business trip and had more time to find a room I wouldnot have stayed there.

Review 85:The price was ok only because it was a run down motel so charging morethen $40 a night would have been a very bad thing.

Review 86:Very good quality/price ratio. More than what we expected for such a low price. It is appropriate only if you stay there for the night on your way to Sequoia Park. Cleaner and newer than expected regarding other reviews.

Review 87:Felt like one Big crime scene, since suspicious people and cars Were cruising around our rooms. After 30 minutes the first police business took place, and when talking to the police, we were advised to stay indoor or better yet, leave the place, for a more Secure area.

Review 88:The fact that we Got Half of out money back, when we had to rush out of the hotel after an hour, because we didn't feel safe.

Review 89:ROACHES!!! The room was filthy & dirt layered surfaces over 5 ft high. Felt so creepy after one night, even our luggage was cleaned in case of "hitch hiking" pests.

Review 90:Not even the price was worth It!

Review 91:1. Smelled bad2. HAD ROCHES 3. BED SHEETS WERE DIRTY 4. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY BAD.. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, NOT EVEN IF IT WAS FREE.

Review 92:Could use a little bit of updating and bathroom window sills could use some cleaning.

Review 94:The room is clean, and the beds are large and firm, very comfortable. Good air-conditioning, refridgerator, furniture. Quiet. I enjoyed my stay. The price is very reasonable.

Review 95:motel 6 had much nicer facilities including a pool for less money. I would be more likely to recommend Visalia the is more going on and 12 miles closer to the national parks

Review 96:the staff was friendly

Review 97:The freeway is quite close, so if you are a light sleeper, this motel might be a little noisy for you. We did not have any trouble sleeping, though, once we had closed the front windows

Review 98:Friendly, helpful staff; clean room; recently renovated bathroom. Great starting point for a full day at the Sequoia National Park when coming in from the East/South the night before as we did. The first room we were assigned was a little loud due to some vending machines right outside; the friendly lady at the night check-in switched us to another room without any problems.

Review 99:The place is slightly run-down. Toilet paper holder about to come off the wall. Office was reluctant to provide receipt showing date & time of day at check out.

Review 100:I know this is a cheap motel and i am fine with nearly everything, but i counted 6 cockraoches. Also the bed had blood spills on other things on it. In the end i had to put all my stuff back in my car and slept in a sleeping bag on the bed.

Review 101:Value

Review 102:Having to pay for ice at your motel, not being able to have access to the Microwave after 10 PM . No phone in the room { guess most people now days have cell phones}

Review 103:It was close too where we conducted business.

Review 104:It's a very cheap and convenient place to stay when you come out of the nearby National Parks. Convenient to the highway, and there is an awesome diner around the corner. The room has a hand drawn map depicting the local area with useful shops marked. The room has a fridge, microwave, there's free wifi and a cheap coin laundry.
