Review 1：We had a great time can't think of anything needing improving.

Review 2：The rooms were very spacious and clean. The kids loved the pool. Fireplace was relaxing at night. Arcade room was also lots of fun. Location was close to everything we wanted to do.

Review 12：Beautiful new, well-appointed suite with ample space for 2 couples. There were others staying in the suite above us and beside us, but we never heard any noise at all. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice breakfast and to have fresh coffee each morning. There was even a private patio with a table and 4 chairs. Three TV's ensured everyone got to choose what they watched, and the value was unbelievable! The Colonies at Williamsburg are close to shopping, restaurants, and everything Williamsburg and the surrounding area has to offer. Also, the check-in staff were very nice and accommodating. The experience couldn't have been improved upon - it was perfect.

Review 13：We were there for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was wonderful! The place is beautiful and spotless. It had a nice fireplace and it was so cozy and comfortable. It was close to shopping and restaurants too!

Review 14：Evening security guard acted like I was interrupting something much more important. He was put out to write down my name on his clip board the first night. The front desk person was also less than friendly the first night. Not enough parking.

Review 27：Cost to split w/ another couple made it affordable, comfortable, & convenient for all of us. The whole stay was wonderful for us all. Staff was very pleasant especially Frances. She went above & beyond to help and answer our questions.

I was disappointed that online it said it was available to bring your pet, but when I asked about it, the fee was very high so I could not bring them.

Review 41：It was a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. The sofa bed was satisfactory. I found it hard to sleep in my room. Cant put my finger on why, sorry I can't help in that area. I liked the washer and dryer and the kitchen was great.

Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to enjoy the facility since our return was always late. We traveled to Williamsburg to see our brother before he was deployed and we spent our days with him and his family. It was great to come back to a comfortable and clean place to stay. My intention is to return to the area and stay at this location again.

Review 50：We had plenty of space for our family of 5. We were not constantly on top of each other. The rooms were very quiet. When I was in the bedroom with our toddler for nap or bedtime with the door closed, I couldn't hear the noise my older kids were making!

Review 51：I enjoy the full kitchen and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. It is a very comfortable environment for two or more. Also, our grandchildren think the pools are the best. Much fun to be had! For me, the convenience of the shopping is so great. We love to visit the Colonies, there is something for everyone.

Review 52：Didn't realize our accommodations would be on the 2nd floor. Didn't know ahead of time that the indoor pool would be closed during our visit. It wasn't the prettiest of properties--kind of sterile. Needs landscaping.

Review 54：The parking was inadequate. We traveled in 2 vehicles and were not told during check in that due to lack of parking only one could park in front of the unit. When returning after a day at Busch gardens there was a guard on duty who told us we needed parking passes. Only when I went to get the parking passes was I told of the parking restrictions due to limited parking. The next day after we came back from a full day at water country and there was no parking.I went to customer service and was told the parking rule wasn't enforced and that we could park on the grassy area at the end of the cout since there was already cars parked on the curb on the court. Additional parking is needed and guests need to be told of parking limitations up front! Cars should be tagged if not following the parking rule.

I'm pretty particular but I have to say there is nothing that I didn't like.

Review 66：The wifi internet was super slow and for the price we pay it could have been better. I suggest getting this fixed or having a router in each room. They could also suggest the travelers to bring their own so they can at least be prepare if they have homework to complete. However there were computers available in the tech room at the front desk but they were just as slow. Overall it was the only thing that was a take away from our stay.

Review 67：I love that the facility offered swimming indoors and outdoors. I also loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils that are often left at home, it made the experience more like home away from home.

It had everything we needed and some extras we appreciated like the jacuzzi tub (fabulous after a long day at Colonial Williamsburg) and the huge spa shower along with a makeup vanity.

Review 79：The parking for the amount of units was bad. Often no available parking if you came back after 9:00. They wanted you to park in a overflow parking lot blocks away from the building where we were staying. The wifi was very slow.

The security guards and staff both told me that other people were abusing the parking and they couldn't control that. Some people at the pool were not guests. The beds were not very comfortable, but the pillows were comfortable.

Kids loved both pools !! Scheduled 3 day stay but extended it ... We were able to get a fourth day at the colonies ... But the other 3 were at its sister resort .. Plantation. It was ok ... But can not begin to compare to the colonies ... Would definitely come back to the colonies

Review 89：Great "to dos" on site. Location is good in relation to Williamsburg activities. Rooms were nice clean and new with up to date appliances and facilities. We have stayed here for a week or just a quick overnight visit and enjoy our time always.

Review 90：The dish washer was broke but I didn't report it because I just hand washed them. The towel situation in the rooms were a little frustrating. Had to wash them or pay $6 for a towel change, but we managed. Bring your own trash bags for kitchen. The bags were little and broke apart. The overall stay was great though!!

I called the front desksince I have respiratory problems and so does of the children with me.They said the room was a smoke-free room but they could put in a fan toionize the room but we had to be gone for 2 hours. This wassatisfactory, and we notified them when we left so this could be done.We came back 3+ hours later and the machine was still running and whencalled they came right away to cut it off. Then we had to stay out ofthe room again. It seems they forgot to run the machine. It would havebeen acceptable except I had children who needed to go to bed. I did notlike having to share a washer and dryer with the other room. The buzzerwas going off at 12:30am and waking us up. It was handicap accessiblebut the doors to the facilities did not have push buttons forhandicapped. This made it very difficult getting in and out of placeslike the pool and water park. Unless you are faced with thesedifficulties I don't think people realize this. Thought electricalsockets should have plugs in so children can not stick something in them
