Reviews for La Posada Hotel
Review 1:No bad experience, but the rug in room 143 was unclean. Personally, I preferred the layout of the patio and restaurant earlier in this decade.
Review 2:Staff courtesy is excellent. Location can't be beaten.
Review 3:Laredo looks run-down & in need of some TLC ( and money?).
Review 4:Hotel full of character. Part of a nice square & opposite a lovely church. Great coffee at Cocina Alvarado. Visitor Centre very helpful.
Review 5:Unfortunately, in our last visit, it appeared that our bed was either broken or not adjusted correctly. This made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. We advised the front desk when we checked out.Other than that, we liked our room.
Review 6:We love La Posada because of it's appearance, and the attentiveness of the staff. It is our choice of stay when we travel to Laredo.
Review 7:It was a gem of a find.
Review 8:I felt as if I were in a different world, old Spain or Mexico. It was charming and the restaurants are excellent, although service was a tad bit slow. It helped me to slow down.
Review 9:I called 4 hours ahead to say we'd be arriving early to get ready for a wedding. We arrived on time, not early, and a room still wasn't ready. Also the wifi wasn't working. We called the front desk and they said they would check the router. A half hour later I went to the front desk and they still hadn't checked it. Once they did it worked fine. In general they simply didn't have their act together and didn't go out of their way, at all! Very disappointing.
Review 10:The bed is so comfortable. The staff is very nice and understanding. It has secure parking lot. Overall a very nice hotel. When I am in the are I always stay there.
Review 11:Hurt back, had to use a cane. Before I could ask for help, the staff anticipated my needs. Very pleasant and courteous staff. They made my trip bearable.
Review 12:though minor, the coffee could have been hotter. I am one of those person that like there coffee super hot. not a deal breaker. would definitely return.
Review 13:from bellboys to executive staff, everyone was very efficient, restaurant staff were great and very polite. all and all we truly enjoyed our stay. we especially enjoyed the plaza across from the hotel.
Review 14:I found 3 roaches on my room, the staff is not very friendly, but the barman who was kind. They have no food to offer after 10pm, and after a very long driving trip, and in that part of town, you don't want to go out to hunt for a burger, it costs nothing to have a plate of tacos or even some sandwiches for your guests. Bed was uncomfortable and facilities are not very nice.
Review 15:Free Wifi, even though it was intermittent. The location, right at the border for easy crossing early in the morning.
Review 16:The location of the Hotel was perfect, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this Hotel. And will stay again.
Review 17:All the staff was great. The manager on the 3rd of July in the evening (Miguel???) was wonderful and was extremely helpful in all aspects. We will return to your hotel. Love it!!!
