Reviews for The Panguitch House

Review 1:This is not a B&B! We were put in an outside motel room. Breakfastwas set, no choice, limited times, and we could not eat the"breakfast" sandwiches (1 step up from McDonald's). The tvwas hidden by the bedframe; could not move it. No a/c! I could goon, but why?

Review 2:Good wi-fi. That's it.

Review 3:There is nothing much to do in the actual town, and if you like to sleep in, you will miss breakfast which is delicious, plentiful and accommodating, but it is served at 8 am.

Review 4:The mountain view room is spacious, quiet and clean. The owners are very friendly, serve wonderful breakfast and offer ideas for traveling and sight seeing. The ride to Bryce canyon was short, and it was nice to stay in a quiet town away from the tourists.

Review 5:New rooms outside the main home were extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and host was very friendly and adaptable to varying times as we wished for breakfast.

Review 6:Be prepared there are few restaurants or activities in the town of Panguitch.

Review 7:We have never stayed at a B&B on vacation before but really enjoyed the homey atmosphere. Very clean and our hostess was excellent. Would stay here again. At breakfast we met people from Belgium, Spain, and the state of Washington. Excellent breakfast.

Review 8:Bathroom had an old fashioned footed bathtub - if you have a mobility issue this isn't the room for you. Also no AC but we were fine during the September heat wave - it really cools down at night. Ceiling fan made it very comfortable.

Review 9:We had the mountainview room which was lovely and spacious. Very comfy bed. Slept great. Kim and Rod are very gracious and accommodating hosts. Breakfast is delicious and served at a communal table so you can meet fellow travelers.

Review 10:We arrived around 8pm so the area was a bit too dark to find the house. Lighting up the signboard would probably help guests.

Review 11:Very friendly owners. Very tasty breakfast. The bed was very very comfortable.

Review 12:The owners Kim and Rod were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with lots of very relevant information. Sharing breakfast with fellow travelers was good because we were able to share stories and experiences.

Review 13:Nothing bad but being an older home, the stairs are narrow and steep and it was next to impossible to take luggage to the room. We had to pack overnight things in bags and take them up.

Review 14:Breakfast was excellent.

Review 15:Location near a busy street and noise of traffic.

Review 16:Kim, the co-owner, is a lovely woman who can really rustle up a fantastic breakfast ! Beautiful home, comfortably furnished.

Review 17:Only thing is no AC.. but it is okay if open the window let cool air comes in because the elevation is 6000 ft it was chill outside (I went in mid August)

Review 18:The hosts were nice, the room was very clean and the breakfast was great sitting at a big table enjoying breakfast and chatting with other guests. It was the best night during my travel.

Review 19:Was a perfect Bed&Breakfast! The best was the Breakfast together with all others guests at one table. Due to this we gained a friend! The room was also very very nice.

Review 20:There was nothing we did not like.

Review 21:The room was clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. There was no noise from the street nor the room next to us. The breakfast was fabulous and changes every day. The hosts were great and personable. We were more than pleased and would definitely stay there again.

Review 22:The owners were very friendly people. Their house is exceptionally beautifully decorated. The breakfast was lovely as well. Easy driving distance from Bryce Canyon.

Review 23:Nothing negative to say.

Review 24:We were in one of the cottages which was adorable. Very clean, updated, private and nicely decoreated. They also had an outside table & chairs w/firepit which made a great place to be outside and read. Breakfast was more than we could eat. Nice location and owners were very friendly. We loved our stay!

Review 25:none

Review 26:Easy to find great location and the hosts Kim and Don could not be any more accomodating going out of there way to assist in anything they could do

Review 27:This house is not comparable to any other stay that we had on our tour. It has a very private atmosphere and it's just really welcoming. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but would definitely come back!!

Review 28:Everything was wonderful! Hosts were great & beautiful accommodations! Close to National Parks & historical little town! Loved the Cowboy Smokehouse for dinner! Highly recommend!!!!

Review 32:Everything was excellent: the hosts were delightful and most helpful. The room was beyond clean, very large and well eqiped. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was large, delicious and made with fresh ingredients. And of course, the location was conveniently close to Bryce.

Review 33:The cable TV didn't work properly. I could only get one channel. It wasn't really a problem, because I came to sleep, not watch TV. :)

Review 34:Great staff--very helpful and accommodating. I had to leave before breakfast, so she packed me a breakfast "to go."

Review 35:The room was beautiful & comfortable. It was a new room-not in the main house so we had a/c. The owners were worried about the guests being comfortable upstairs since the temps were higher than normal. I loved the family style breakfast with the other guests!

Review 36:Ummmm...can't think of anything we didn't like. In fact, I wanted to move in! : )

Review 37:We had a fabulous stay at this B&B. The room was recently remodeled and decorated - so cute and very comfortable. Breakfasts were just wonderful. We highly recommend The Panguitch House.

Review 38:Breakfast was very good. My wife has high standards of cleanliness and we found that the Panguitch House met her standards. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was our first B and B experience and we enjoyed it!

Review 39:not that close to Bryce Canyon About 45' drive

Review 40:this is a great B&B The owner is so nice, she prepare breakfast all home made!! Hot quiche, muffins, toast,... Room is well decorated, bathroom clean and nice decorated too with shampoo and body gel.

Review 41:Charming, well maintained older home with very hospitable hosts. Owners of B&B went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. The home is very convenient to access Bryce National Park.

Review 42:The room was attractive - the couple was gracious - breakfast delicious. The only negative is that there is not a common room to sit in during the day.

Review 43:Kim and her husband were delightful hosts and we enjoyed visiting with them. The breakfast was delicious fresh fruit and yoghurt followed by ham omelette hash browns and toast.

Review 44:The owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was homemade and terrific! Great location near lots to do outside and not right in all of the touristy areas. Could tell the family cares for the home well and is recently updated. Would recommend to everyone. Escape the monotony of hotels and stay at B&Bs. It's often cheaper and you learn where the locals go and what they love to do!

Review 45:For the season (late December), somehow overpriced, however without real competition; loud and non-controllable central heating (either loud and hot, or quiet and cold, after some time);

Review 46:typical BB atmosphere which I havent seen anywhere else than UK or France; extremely cozy bathroom with cat feet bath tub, very fluffy carpet (the first time I like carpet in a accomodation);breakfast family style next to the kitchen, again very tastfully furnished (self made antique) :-); good eat at the fish family restaurant (which doesnt serve any fish, haha); best place to experience total remoteness of Utah;

Review 47:I wish they had a small fridge for guests to share, although the lady was extremely nice and let us put stuff in her fridge.

Review 48:I liked the breakfasts and the lady host is very nice! Made suggestions for dinner and things not to miss in the park.

Review 49:We spent one night here while exploring Bryce Canyon and area. The hostess was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good.

Review 53:Kim and Rod are super hosts! Nice Breakfasts with Kim giving different choices every morning! Size and comfort of the room TV channels Location 20 minutes from the amazing Bryce Canyon Big Bath

Review 54:Best to eat in Bryce canyon (try pizza place next to lodge) as limited choice in town. No tea/coffee facilities for guests apart from breakfast

Review 55:Beautifully decorated room. Very good interesting cooked breakfast, different each day we were there

Review 56:No fault of owner but Lookout room had fair amt. of road noise. No air but had ceiling fan which was not working since chain broken by previous renter and no time to repair. Given floor fan but so loud had to turn off to sleep. Limited good places to eat in Panguitch. Would be good to have a central meeting/social room which hosts are considering developing.

Review 57:Breakfast tasty Kim great hostess Bed/bedding clean?new Private bath nice new towels Owners eager to please Fairly close to Bryce

Review 58:Only minus is the road with trucks coming through. Still slept well since things quiet down by about 10.
