Review 1：I expected a "continental buffet" breakfast (with sussages, scrambled eggs, baked beans) as advertisesand not an English breakfast of toast, muffins, cakes, cereal and tea and orange juice.

Review 2：Very friendly staff. We lost keys to one of our boxes and they were extremely helpful. We're also very courteous in meeting our extensive needs and request.

Review 3：My room backed the road so I had some disturbances in the night from noisy vehicles and motor bikes.

Review 4：The amenities. I also like the location of the property - closeness to my children's school, a bus stop just by it, shopping centre is 2 minutes away. The staff are polite and welcoming.

Review 5：No bad experiences, but just didn't really impress. "Queen suite" was small and ordinary. Included breakfast was pretty basic, with very little variety and plastic cups for juices, which just struck me as wasteful. TV had very basic cable. Overall, instead of feeling like the night had been a treat - as the reviews had implied - I felt like I should have shopped around some more.

Review 6：The pool was lovely and they had good floaties for kids. The hotel was conveniently located. They were understanding about us checking out a bit late.

Review 7：I was under the impression that breakfast was included, as I was asked if I wanted breakfast included at booking and I of course said yes. Unfortunately I was not informed that it was only a continental breakfast. This should be made more clear at booking, as I would have planned my trip better. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience.

Review 13：Found the room crowded with too much furniture No problem that dining room was a few minutes late opening one morning but desk attendant should have been visible and making explanation rather than letting every person arriving look for him and have to ask what was happening He could have totally ameliorated the situation but was useless Possibly we could have been offered some compensation for the very wet carpet. .we were glad it had been cleaned but it did get our feet wet

Review 17：Didn't like the noise of the hwy 403. It kept me up. Once we moved our room to the other side we were super happy. Seemed at first, non of the remotes worked but they found one and did all they could to make it nice for us.

Review 21：Short one night stay for business. I travel frequently world-wide. Very high end room, for very reasonable price. Small but sufficient fitness room. Friendly staff who were helpful in printing a small document. Only negative was background highway noise.

Review 28：Highway on one side and busy Main Street on other. They added an extra window to shield noise, and they did a reasonable job. I was ok with noise levels, but others may find it a bit too noisy. Try to get Main Street side, it is less busy at night.

Review 29：Overall good value. Not much choice in Hamilton at upper end, this ends up being a consideration. Good quality recently renovated rooms, very good size as well. Good value.

Review 30：We did not like the rattle of the air conditioner. We meant to mention that before we left. When it kicked in there was a tinny rattle.

Review 32：The place is too 'cheap'. Not in the sense of the money itself, but in the sense of what they provide. Example: 1- The breakfast included is called 'continental breakfast' which is a 'vast' choice of bagel with cream cheese or milk with cereal. Nothing in the table has labels so I had a bowl of sour cream thinking it was Yogourt. Just ridiculous. 2- Something else is the cleanliness of the towels. They are so cheap that they don't even bother putting detergent on it. It is a very strong smell of bleach, that kills all bacterias in the room and almost my own breath!

Review 39：Hamilton has weird streets in the area, property is not easy to get to because of the one-way streets. The breakfast buffet was small but adequate, it would have been nice to have other protein options besides yoghurt and peanut butter.

Review 40：We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Excellent value and comfort throughout. Many features in the room you would expect from a large five star chain and they are a private hotel. Wonderful. I liked the fridge and minifridge. The WiFi was excellent. The Kuerig coffee maker was a delight. The bed was very comfortable and a shower with a continental hand held and glass doors - wow!!The restaurant on site served us a delightful dinner and dessert later in the evening round the bar.I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone needing accommodation in Hamilton.

Review 41：Traffic noise from Hwy 403 right outside the window a bit annoying , but not serious .

Review 43：One of the staff working at the front desk was rude. He seemed annoyed whenever someone asked him a question. Nearest grocery store or place to eat is around a 10 minute walk. Wifi was slow.

Review 44：The room was perfect, air conditioning was great, bathrooms are super good. The location is not so bad with a calm surrounding area. They can send your clothes out for a "same-day" dry cleaning service.

Review 45：Because to much street noise I could not sleep if I am not too tired. Breakfeast was weak. People in reception does not much know about surrounding. Main street was apposite to McMaster. They do not hesitating to do vacuum cleaning @ 03:00AM.

Review 61：I wouldn't say it was "bad" but the continental breakfast was disappointing. Coffee was not self serve & the to go cups were very small. There was a lack of variety in the breakfast items. One type of bagel, muffin, two cereals, only one jam, little fruit choices. Again, wasn't horrible, but not as good as other continental breakfasts. Also only available from 7-9, which on a weekend; when vacationing is short.

Review 62：Location was great for all the areas we visited while in Hamilton. Pool area spacious and well stocked. Rooms clean and loved the kitchenette area, very handy to have the fridge and microwave.

Review 65：One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. We had the junior suite at a last minute great rate for two nights. In that time I had 3 baths and 2 showers, the facilities were amazing, the bed was big and comfortable, we loved every minute of our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

There was a small place to sit outside, We have stayed two nigths, to visit Toronto (a 35 minutes drive) and the Niagara area (45 minutes drive). Review 82：They need to get Triple glazed windows at the front Its like sleeping ON the freeway at times it's so noisy this wouldake a big difference and the front staff while not not nice are a little bit abrupt in a way we are not used to no casual talk or greeting but that just might be the Canafian way !! They advertise themselves as Non Smoking we could smell smoke in our bathroom it was coming in the vent I don't think it was clients I feel it may have been staff but obviously no proof on that one !!! We drove ever were as at one stage a couple of ladies across the road were not what one would have classed as family friendly !!! Not the hotels fault though ...

Review 84：Continental breakfast was a frenzied, crowded event. The only server was doing her best to attend to guests' requests for take out coffee etc., but she was overwhelmed, so another staff should have been there to keep the food table clean and replenished.

Review 85：I was very impressed with the female desk attendant, who served me when I checked in at 5:00 p.m. on July 20th. She was polite, helpful and easy to speak with. The queen beds were super comfortable. The stocked bar fridge was a treat. Pool being open until 11:00 p.m. was appreciated. I also liked the location of the pool as it is not near the rooms.

Review 86：The hotel is located on a main thoroughfare and was a little noisy on that side. So next time, I would request to be on the other side of the hotel.

Review 87：We enjoyed our short stay here as it was very close to Westdale which a small / cute part of Hamilton close to the university. As well, it was a short cab ride to the Tim Horton's soccer field for the Women's Soccer matches. The hotel has a friendly staff and comfortably sized rooms for families.

Review 88：The breakfast arrangement is slightly odd- the free continental breakfast only available until 9 but a cooked breakfast is available until 11- would be better that the times are aligned, given that the continental breakfast can be set up without much intervention from staff. Cooked breakfast was very nice though and great value.

Review 90：Items in room's mini-bar were past sell-by date. Also, didn't realize continental breakfast was first come first serve. Not just lack of food left (despite arriving at 8:15) but tables hadn't been cleaned off or cutlery replaced so had to wait to sit. Coffee not ready. Also, if staff are unwell it is understandable and preferred if they stay home. Wish there was a convenience store, coffee shop or alternate restaurant more conveniently nearby (people not familiar with Hamilton would drive and then faced with rerouting to come correct way along the one-way Main St).

Review 91：The kids liked the pool. The room was clean (despite mini-bar issue) and bed comfy.

Review 92：Breakfast on the first morning was slow and I never did get what I ordered but it was close so I finally accepted it. For our guests it was difficult to have it run smoothly. The 2nd morning, there was not a clean table in the place so we walked out . Obviously some problems there.

Review 98：Comfortable and clean room with internet and cable TV. My kid loved the pool.The hotel had a nice restaurant. It has a good location and is 2 min. away from shopping plaza with different food places. It is about a 1 hour drive to Niagara Falls, close to Toronto, Lake Ontario or Erie beaches, and wineries. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Review 99：The breakfast, or lack there of. Migh tas well not offer, if you cannot give one hot component, they have availability but only if you pay extra for breakfast. Some eggs and a waffle maker is not asking for much. The coffee had to be served, so now we feel obliged to tip them for instant coffee? Not cool.

Review 120：Location is sandwiched between Main St and Hwy 403; not very quiet. No milk available ; just coffee mate and the hotel manager couldn't open up the diner , so I had to drive out for some milk so I can make my tea on arrival (around 11pm). Why can't the hotel arrange for the small milk containers to be available in the in-room fridge?! It's seems a small thing, but it's a big deal to me. The waitress yesterday morning was quite dismissive; none of the tables were clean, and I stood for about 10 minutes while she took her time sorting out paperwork, but she told me I could sit at anyone of the tables. I wouldn't sit down to eat at a dirty table at home, so why would I do that at a restaurant?!

Continental breakfast good, if you want a more substantial breakfast then the restaurant food is lovely (lunch and dinner too) and well priced. Road noise is audible but not a problem unless you are a very light sleeper. Would stay here again without hesitation.
