Review 3：A good centrally situated hotel, refurbished and good value for money. All of the staff are very friendly and efficient. There is a good choice of breakfast foods and the restaurant staff very attentive

Review 6：We were delayed because of immigrants shutting the tunnel, but we telephoned yourselves to advise the hotel and save the room and when we got there some 9 hours later than expected the receptionist was amazing. All of the staff are very friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean

Review 11：Since it was supposed to be a child-friendly hotel there was no kids' menu and it was difficult to find something from the 2 choices that were provided. It was not handy that the TV was in the children's area.

Review 13：This was the second time we stayed at Ostend Hotel. the first time, it was fantastic, we got free parking and complementary wine and water at dinner. This time through Booking.com, the reservation mentioned that it didn't include parking. I called the hotel directly, explained that last time we had free parking, they said they could offer us parking only for 3 of 4 days, good enough. At check in, they charged us 20 euros per night for parking. Anyway, we paid. But at dinner we get the wine (half bottle) they said it is not free because we book with booking.com and that it will cost 13 euros. Ok we paid. But did we get water? No!!. Not a single glass of water without paying!! How is this possible? Really bad!, then they have the tip basket for the kitchen staff. Why do you want a tip if you charge for water? Incredible. Also, we got the room cleaned sometimes up to 15:30 and our keys kept disprogramming themselves.

Review 20：We have stayed at this hotel many times over a period of 25 years. Now we are taking our grandchildren too! We particularly like the play room alongside the bar as we can have a drink from the bar in the later evening and watch the children enjoy the bouncy castle and trampoline before bed. The hotel is clean, comfortable well positioned and provides a very good buffet breakfast.

Review 22：Pull down wall beds meant that you had plenty of room in the family room. Right by the beach. Bouncy castles and slides downstairs. Breakfast ok. Parking a pain unless you pay 17€ for hotel space. Otherwise 3€/4 hours outside but hard to find a spot. The pub was a little noisy but ok. Great bike/pushcart rental on beachfront. Lovely fountain jets. Nice place for young family as very broad esplanade. More a review of Oostende I suppose but hotel great too.

Review 70：We are very seasoned travellers and have stayed at the Ostend Hotel several times. Firstly it's good value for money. The rooms are kept well, the housekeeping is good. Parking is easy and although on street it's never been a problem. Location is good, it's only a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. The staff are always helpful, and the breakfast is good. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

Review 95：The room was too small, not enough room to walk between wall and end ofbed without bruising your legs every time.A Small hanging wardrobewithout a door the reason being, if it had a door you would not be ableto open it without moving a kitchen type chair of which there were two,most uncomfortable to sit on, also no drawer space to place underwearetc. in. The front desk staff were most off hand and did not make youfeel welcome and it seemed they were not interested in you. Thebreakfast choice was very good and the chamber maids were pleasant andkept the room clean.

Review 98：It was a really bad idea to take the package room + dinner. I regret mychoice. The food served was meatballs with tomatoe sauce and frozen fishnuggets with frozen vegetables in August. It is unthinkable that a hotel100 meters from the sea could serve frozen fish nuggets!!!! And all thatcosted 21 euros!!! For a few euros more or less you could have a verynice dinner at one of the restaurants vith sea view!Another thing that I have never seen in a 3 star hotel is that the remote control from the TV was at the reception. But, they did not have remote control gadgets for all the rooms! It was on the principle: first come, first served. So, at 22h when I requested at the reception my remote control to be able to watch TV they told me they run out of it!

Review 101：A big improvement for this hotel would be air conditioning. Though it never gets to hot, the noise from the street makes it very difficult to sleep throughout the night.
Review 102：The hotel is very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Everything is within a 10 minute walking distance. The hotel rooms are very clean and the staff was very friendly.
Review 103：Stayed at this hotel for one night on 5th July, room was clean and comfortable although very hot, I didn't expect air con as it is a three star hotel but a fan in the room would certainly have helped. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of everything and alway being replenished. The hotel is in a very good location and with the help of our sat nav we had no problem in finding it. I would stay at the hotel again but if I was staying longer than one night I would book a junior suite.
Review 104：Our room was over the front entrance - a lot of noise from the hotel barand the Irish Pub next door, together with noise from early morningdeliveries did not make a restful sleep. The hotel itself was in need ofrefurbishment and the corridor to our room had half its plaster missingand a hole in the wall near our door. There didn't seem to be any signof work being carried out to update the hotel. The rooms are quitespartan with no draw space just a couple of shelves in the wardrobe. Thepillows are very hard!
