Review 1：there was mild all in the ceiling. water coming through the paint and in the wall. Heater didn't work. You could hear the rain between the walls leaking. Horrible stay

Review 3：There was no wifi connection in room even though I was provided with info to connect. The room was old with holes in the bathroom walls and broken tiles by the sink. I needed the heater, but couldn't get it to work or stop the fan from running so just unplugged it

Review 7：The obviously-being-lived-in van and junky camper in the parking lot added to the feel of it being unsafe. Homeless people sleeping in the lobby. The facility is falling apart and the room was dirty- dust bunnies hanging from the bathroom vent,and plastic food wrappers on the floor. One lamp didn't work, the cord had been cut.
Review 8：Heater and Air conditioner worked well and quickly. Pretty quiet, surprisingly, given the scary neighborhood and broken down RV's in the parking lot
Review 9：I did not feel safe leaving our belongings in the room. I felt like I was on a bad side of town with people who were hanging around on the stairs and in front of the motel. The rooms were very small

Review 11：The lobby was dirty. The first room had missing slats on the vertical blinds covering the 8 foot high window that faced a busy street and no curtain. The second room had a smaller bed than we reserved. There was a hole in the floor at the foot of the bed that was covered by the carpet. In the vanity area someone had smeared a booger on one of the walls.

Review 13：What a miserable stay! In general the room was very disappointing. It is even more budget than advertised and lacked just about everything! Ice costs 25 cents. What's with that? Wifi was non-existant, despite management's insistence that it was there. No one was available to offer assistance. The lack of help was very disturbing. Fortunately we were only en route to our destination and just passing through. Trust the reviews and stay away!

Review 25：This place is a badly aging complex in a sketchy marginal neighborhood. The room was gloomy. The walls.were.peeling. The shower was rusty. The room was musty and smelled of age and mildew. The "included breakfast was coffee and packaged danish. The parking lot had shady characters hanging out: druggies and drunks. This place was overpriced by at least $100.00. If I could have afforded it I would have stayed elsewhere and canceled the reservation. But they already had my credit card so I would have lost the room f3e. I was really very disturbed and disappointed that this dive was so misrepresented. I would like a refund if that was possible.

I was polite to the counter person and asked for just a partial refund , cause i know they need to make some money, and she did not want to help at all.

Decent room, everything was clean and fresh.This is a budget hotel, but for the price, $100 that weekend, it was thecheapest I could find and it was definitely alright.

The smoke alarm in our room started to beep at around 2am, and Ihad to get up and disconnect it. The staff looked like they hated us,their job, and life in general. I really wish I had spent $20 more tostay somewhere decent. The Economy Inn Seaside is a filthy hole wherethe American Dream lays, festers, and decays.

Review 64：The continental breakfast was a joke - lierally only coffee and 4 packaged rolls on the check-in desk. The room was not overly clean and had no shampoo. It just felt creepier to me than the last hotel I was in and it cost $40 more.

Review 66：Our email said to check in at 2 P.M. we showed up at 2:30p.M. and weretold the room would be done at 3:30p.M. The walls and ceiling hadcrumbled and fell on top of lighting grid. The bed smelled old and dirtysheets. The Parking lot was ridiculous, I drive a black Nissan Titantruck I could not leave in the morning for coffee due to the tightparking spaces. I would never recommend a stay there.
Review 67：The whole complex including the room is run down. The staff acted like they could care less if you enjoyed your stay, only wanted the money. Room was Waaaay over priced, Hotel is not even a one star. They need to spend some money cleaning and painting.

The rooms were fairly clean but the outside was dirty and the entire motel needs updated. For the price that was charged I expected a lot more, even the hair dryers were old and did not work well.

However, the room was incredibly stuffy, screen missing from window, dusty, holes in the blankets, hair dryer didn't work, toilet didn't flush, water pressure was super strong (painful almost), tub filled up during shower (drain clogged), and obviously, don't depend on the in house shampoo and conditioner, oh, and bathroom fan didnt work.
