Reviews for Rogue Regency Inn & Suites

Review 1:I called ahead to specifically ask if they had a business center where I could scan in some work items. The gal that answered the phone assured me they did. After a long day of travel got to my room at 6-7 pm. Tried to plug in my laptops pulled the dresser forward to find several used needles. Called the desk they moved me from a king room to a queen room. Then when I tried to go scan in my items it did NOT work. Requested help from the front desk they couldn't get it to work either. Super frustrating completely a bust. I should've been offered reimbursement of my room. TERRIBLE experience.

Review 2:We went to dinner to the lounge. We arrived about 6ish, plenty of time to have dinner and move on before the comedy show. It took almost 2 hours to be served dinner. The comedy host was a bit rude and moved us from our table, where we had been seated to be out of the way. We were a group of 5, he stated the table was reserved , yet there was no reserved sign. We had to eat our meal late, and right in front of the stage where we didn't want to be as we had come for dinner and not the show. Also, the very first area we were seated adjacent to the bar, smelled of urine and so we were moved.

Review 3:Love the pasta meal, food was very good and accommodations as well.

Review 4:"fitness center" is no more than defunct and decrepit old YMCA chain-weight machines, upholstery taped over with athletic tapes. There are two treadmills and an ancient stair stepper. Pool was too cold to use and jacuzzi off limits for some reason.

Review 5:Nice staff, easy on/off highway, breakfast at the diner decent selection of diner food (not included in bill).

Review 6:I had a first floor unit, which is kind of a basement. Next time I'll ask for a higher floor. The carpet in the halls and room was pretty dated, dark green in the room. Needs updating. Bathroom was pretty small, with a fan that turns on when the light is on.

Review 7:Well lit, secure feeling parking area. I arrived after dark and found a good spot right in front of the lobby and felt safe walking in. The bed was very comfy, especially once I found the Non-Feather pillow! Good TV choices, coffee pot for my tea and a microwave.

Review 8:Parking could be a bit of a challenge in bad weather.

Review 9:Room location was great. Staff was friendly and informative. Best in room coffee I've ever had.

Review 10:No matter what they try to do, the old smokers haunt the rooms. Had to sleep with the window open

Review 11:Great Staff and Location. Love the discounted breakfast

Review 12:The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. It was also terrible noisy outside our window. People talking loud until very late!

Review 13:The room was nice, liked the little kitchen area.

Review 14:room service was very very expensive and the food was awful we threw it away after a few bites, they also can't deliver alcohol to the rooms, so if you are celebrating keep that in mind. Also our ceiling started leaking while we were there and they didn't really do anything about it, And half the lights in our room were missing light bulbs. Showers were so short that my 6 foot tall boyfriend had to crouch to use them. Also the view from out windows is a motel 6 parking lot, and it was right across the street from i5 so you here cars all day and night.

Review 15:The staff was wonderful and friendly. The Jacuzzi was wonderful and the water stayed hot. They gave us plenty of towels which is hard to come by in a hotel. the room was pretty much exactly what the honeymoon suite pictures show. there were 2 flat screens in the room which swiveled so you could watch in bed or in the tub which was kinda cool.

Review 16:Our breakfast order was misplaced for whatever reason. Watched all the tables by ours receive their meals but ours never came. After an hour we told the waiter we were leaving. We went elsewhere for breakfast.

Review 17:Good location.

Review 18:Great find on trip from CA to Portland. Quick, efficient, well-staffed operation. Clean and convenient. Slightly dated but this was a non-issue for us. Restaurant and sports pub connected to hotel. $5.99 made to order breakfast.

Review 19:The indoor pool was too cold to swim in...which was the main reason I chose this motel. I need a pool to exercise in for health reasons, and was incredulous when I went to get into to pool I could not get past my toes because of the temperature...which I'm guessing (compared to the gym I usually swim in) was way colder than 8( degrees.

Review 20:I liked the overall environment and interior decorations.

Review 21:It was comfortable..loved having the mini kitchen and the girls at the front desk were very polite. Plus the restaurant served a very great breakfast for a good price.

Review 22:There is a comedy club onsite in the bar and it was really, really funny! We will return, if in the area, just for that place. Also, there is a nice walking path nearby to work off the good food and drinks.

Review 23:I love that the staff puts me in a room (205) right near the front desk! Being a single, older female, that is important...the only thing that was a little disconcerting was that I was exactly opposite the back entrance to the front desk and the door slammed and people talked right outside my door so perhaps a little reminder about those room nearby would be helpful...Otherwise, as always a very great experience and the front desk staff is excellent and so is the staff in the coffe shop!!! Please thank them for me.

Review 24:The bed was an older bed and uncomfortable.

Review 25:The staff was very friendly and helpful and we really liked the bar and grill in the hotel. The room, hallway and lobby was very clean.

Review 26:I love this hotel. Their staff is just superb at being helpful and courteous. They are close to the airport and provide a shuttle that is very prompt and is available all the time. If you book directly with them they provide up to seven days of free parking. If you book through a third party there is a nominal fee. The restaurant is wonderful and affordable--not the usual hotel restaurant cafe. There is also a dining room available.I will always stay here when in the area.

Review 27:First impressions were of dirty carpet in hallways, but the rooms were very clean.

Review 28:The ability to have a meal after a late arrival, and a made to order breakfast in the morning was very much appreciated. Everyone was so friendly!

Review 29:Location of hotel hard to reach because of divided hwy.

Review 30:Enjoyable stay for the price,Rooms were comfortable and a good size.Breakfast was affordable with guest coupon

Review 31:The room smelled like smoke. The front desk offered to set up an ozone cleaner which we accepted. That helped. The dinner in the restaurant was terrible; the food was over cooked and extremely salty.

Review 32:Front desk was great at check in and check out.

Review 33:I hate to give negative reviews but we have traveled to Medford areaannually for several years and this may be the only place we will neverreturn to. Just wanted to try something different this time. These arewhat we see as negatives: loud old air conditioner (in every room in thebuilding) right next to the head of the bed for some crazy reason. Whenours wasn't going, we could hear the one in the room next to us! Ididn't like the hotel location which was a somewhat confusinginterchange which made getting just across the street to a grocery storea major expedition. Very poor wifi reception. Uncomfortable bed.

Review 34:Liked: white blanket, clean bathroom, pleasant and professional staff atfront desk. Exterior of the building and the reception area very cleanand pleasant....

Review 35:power went off and they had no back-up power at all; not even batteries to light the rooms or lobby. I had to leave the motel at 10:00 PM to start driving home.

Review 36:They need new beds. I could have stayed at new hotel with nicer beds for less money.

Review 37:I loved the onsite extra's! The staff was very kind. I felt safe.

Review 38:Hotel would not honor original reservation done online through Booking.com. We booked a king room and reservation had the correct information but after arrival the staff member staff member said there were no king rooms available and would only offer a two queen bed room for the same price. The Hotel was old & run down. Over priced for quality of Hotel. We've stayed at the Hampton in down the street which is much nicer and up to date for the same price. It was difficult getting into and out of Hotel due to it's location.

Review 39:We thought the location would be good. Close to Airport.

Review 40:The lock keys didn't work. Got them re-done twice and still took 2 keys to access the outer door and room door. The restaurant needs management.

Review 41:We were on bottom floor. Could hear people walking above us. We also heard every time someone turned on water or flushed toliet.

Review 42:Staff was wonderful. Hotel was clean.

Review 43:I had to sleep on a roll-a-way bed that was like sleeping on springs directly all night.

Review 44:I like that there was a restaurant and lounge connected to the hotel.

Review 45:The check in clerk had us fill out the wrong papers initially, then gave us þe wrong room number twice causing us to hike all over the hotel caring our heavy bags

Review 46:The room was large, clean and comfortable. The towels were plush and the bed was cozy. The restaurant was nice and the heart healthy breakfast was delicious

Review 47:Zero water pressure in the shower. This is usually one of the first things we notice when traveling, and we definitely noticed this one.

Review 48:Excellent room. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Great staff. Absolutely top of the line and a great value.....

Review 49:I have really nothing bad to say about this Hotel. Our stay was good and felt the comfort of this place in many ways. The restaurant inside also is very good for price and quality. I recommend the Rogue Regency Inn & Suites.

Review 50:Unfortunately, they will never get the long gone smoker residue from the rooms I have stayed there many times and all room s are the same.

Review 51:As a business travler I enjoy having a food and drink on site.

Review 52:Getting out of my warm bed at 0400, because airlines don't know how to fly later in the morning.

Review 53:The staff is friendly, Rooms are quiet, the food is good. We've stayed three times now and the Hotel has become our home away from Home.

Review 54:Staff gracious about arrangements being made by mom with less than perfect information about the bridal couple's plans. Made everything perfect for the newlyweds who said "This room is amazing!"

Review 55:Slow vanity sink Room needs renovation Not enough clearance between bathroom door & toilet Subterranean room Bought a king room, was not told pet room would be 2 queens Not enough hangers

Review 56:The mattress in 114 should have been retired years ago. Then again, the same could be said of me so there you go.

Review 57:Good location, easy I-5 access. Good food. Quiet. Safe. Professional staff. Reasonable price. An actual coffee maker with a small carafe - awesome by today's standard.

Review 58:The hot tub had so much chlorine in it that mt swim suit got bleached and out eyes burnt just as soon as we got in. There was a dirty man and two small children with real dirty clothes and socks and shoes spread all over the floor. We had to walk around them. Pretty sure an employees family. Looked like the man was (touching) the little girl. Gross. The kids were slashing about in hot tub with no supervision. I got so much chlorine in my eyes and nose. Two days later my husband and I are still smelling nothing but chlorine. The massive bubbles in hot tub were not helping as they stuck to out suits. Beds sucked sooo bad and the pillows were flat flat flat. The room was real nice.

Review 59:The bar Kareokee was crude and extremely loud. I was stunned the RR had this going on. It was after midnight so may be that was the reason. I left.

Review 60:Food and service was good. Thank you.

Review 61:Can not for the life of me think of any thing I did'nt like.

Review 62:How close it was to the airport.free shuttle. Tasty meals in your resturant. At good prices. Breakfast at a very resnable $4; 99.wow.clean rooms.I got spoilt to death. nice and quite. Iovely atmosphere. Review 63:It needs renovation...felt very old. Small room, one sink in the room and one out....not the best for us. There was a feeling of oldness...not fresh. The same for the restaurant. The desk clerk could hardly be understood.

Review 64:The drinks at the bar were terible...way too much alcohol...and we ordered food at the bar and it was awful....my bill was $112 for 2 people which I didn't mind it was a little steep but we didn't finish one plate....we had french dip oyster shooters and the sampler plate.....nothing was edible!!!

Review 65:Rooms were nice employees kind people....rooms were very quiet...was nice

Review 66:No extra pillows. spiders in room. Breakfast lacking in protein choice. Boiled eggs laying in water not appetizing at all.

Review 67:This place use to be quite nice.

Review 68:1. Price per night is a bit steep for amenities offered. 2. Proximity to busy highway makes noise a small problem 3. Hotel layout makes distant rooms a long hike to reach

Review 69:1. Great breakfast at a reasonable price 2. Comfortable rooms 3. Great beds and linens 4. Shuttle to the airport 5. Friendly staff

Review 70:We couldn't stay long enough to fully enjoy it.
