Reviews for Color Country Motel
Review 1:nothing.
Review 2:The bed was very comfortable..although the shower space was a bit smaller than usual the shower was much better than many other hotels. staff very friendly. rooms clean and tidy.
Review 3:Paid more for this one but there were less facilities. No hairdryer though I knew that when I booked it. Just felt it wasn't good value for money.
Review 4:Good location with eateries within walking distance. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
Review 5:Loved the hotel and staff, the only down side was the wifi signal wasn't very strong so our laptop would go in and out of service.
Review 6:The staff was friendly and helpful.
Review 7:no fridge in the room; compared to the other motels we stayed in the furniture was quite old
Review 8:very friendly staff, nice and quite location (which is basically the whole town) only 30 minutes to the Bryce Canyon National Park. instead of staying in one of the expensive big chain motels around you should stay there to enjoy the charme of this town!
Review 9:The room was very clean, we came a little bit after check in hours but it wasnt a problem for them. Staff was very nice, they evan cut a melon for us :)
Review 10:too small of a room - no hair dryer - no air vent in bathroom - no coffee - no breakfast - air conditioner didn't work and the blower roared loudly all night - bad internet - could see around the door when shut - cost way too much - $48 would have been more of a reasonable cost. It was built in the 50's without any renovations - except for a wide screen TV
Review 11:car was right outside our window nothing else stood out
Review 12:Bad bed, loud a/c, dirty, light showed through curtains, people up stairs were very loud...awful place.
Review 13:NOTHING...it was a dump for the money. I would NOT recommend it.
Review 14:Shower stall was very small and tight.
Review 15:The owners were very accommodating, we had car trouble and arrived late. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and spotless bathroom. Room also had fridge, which is important on a road trip!
Review 16:Tv was ancient but worked ok. Rooms were small. Fortunately there wereonly 2 of us. Any more would have been very crowded.
Review 17:Clean, comfortable and quaint room. We arrived late so they taped theroom key to the office door for us. No breakfast but the hotel staffdirected us next door for a giant cinnamon roll which my daughter loved.Took her 2 days to finish it.
Review 18:1) Front office staff available only during very limited hours. 2) No availability of front desk for emergencies at night. 3.) The window-type A/C is simply too small for the job. 4) Poor Wi-Fi connectivity
Review 19:Though severely outdated, it was clean.
Review 20:The air conditioner. Couldn't regulate it. Noisy and blew on you. TV the sound wasn't working well at all. Need to update the bedding covers.
Review 21:Very clean on the outside and inside. Safe secure area. The room brought us back in time. Even thou the decor was old couldn't have been cleaner.
Review 22:Not much choice of restaurants in town. Subway and a decent breakfast within walking distance. Laundry at campground 2 doors down. Noisy ceiling fan that needs balancing. Take off the lamp shade and bulb if you want to sleep with it on. Last room across from empty pool. Cheap motel, clean, safe, but still a motel in a town that is closed down. Don't expect any partying!
Review 23:Quiet location, near Bryce.
Review 24:Wifi was inconsistent, very poor signal. In-wall air conditioner was ver loud in a small room.
Review 25:If you like inexpensive, clean, convenient, and friendly staff, this place is for you.
Review 26:WiFi could be faster, but who needs the internet while staying in the wild west of America.
Review 27:If you're looking for a good motel in Panguitch it may be the right place for you. Not much to complain about. It takes a little walk to the tiny city and a short drive to Bryce Canyon.
Review 28:unfortunately, we were unlucky to be bitten by bed bugs but we were refunded for our stay and the manager assured us they will look into the problem. The lobby is closed after 10:00.
Review 29:The room seemed to be very clean and facilities nice. Location convenient between Zion and Bryce. There is tea and coffee in the lobby. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Review 30:Not a bad experience, but wish there had been a small refrigerator & microwave. Or at least a coffee maker (although coffee in the office was a plus).
Review 31:Quiet, clean, comfortable.
Review 32:Not a lot of options for eating, in fact, only one restaurant that we could easily find, and it had extremely nice wait staff and very good food !!
Review 33:Location was nice including the local people. Very nice meeting everyone that we came into contact with. A special thanks to Cashe at the Napa Auto Parts for being so accommodating and helpful !!
Review 34:One minor thing is that both bedrooms have a different door to the samebathroom, so it might happen that people from one bedroom is using thetoilet when people from the other opens the other door. Well we settleddown this problem by looking for the light from the crack under thedoor... Wifi is not that good also...
Review 35:I highly recommend the family room for families or even just group of 4friends!!! There are two separate bedrooms (with doors), one with aqueen (or double?) bed and the other with two twin beds. TVs in bothrooms, microwave&fridge available in one room. Bathroom shared bythe two. The price is lower than two rooms. Super nice owner. He loweredthe price I booked on booking.com by $10 dollars. Didn't know whybut super moved.
Review 36:No Wi-Fi. There was a pool, but it wasn't working/open (Not listed in amenities).
Review 37:The motel is attractive, the room was spotless (so clean), friendly management, dog-friendly, great shower, conveniently located (walking distance) to Flying M restaurant and town.
Review 38:Only 2 things could be improved: it was a little cold in the room and the shower head was very low so that you couldn't really stand up.
Review 39:We stayed for one night before going to Bryce Canyon. The location was great, it took us only 30 minutes to go to Bryce Canyon. The room was very nice, decorated with love and very clean. Same for the bathroom. We'd definitely recommend this place.
Review 40:This is an older motel, although well maintained, so expect some homey touches. The bedding is older and in the bedspread style. They have doilies beneath the lamps. There is no hairdryer in the room nor breakfast offered.
Review 41:Family room included two separate rooms with queen in one and two twins in the other. The twin bedroom had a small tv which my kids loved. It also housed the mini fridge and microwave which enchanted my girls. Everything was very clean and it was obvious the owners care. Comfortable mattresses were appreciated! Pet friendly!
Review 42:You had to wiggle the key to unlock the door, and never sure if it was locked. No breakfast.
Review 43:Location,quiet little town. Restaurant was within walking distance with home cooking.
Review 44:1. The room (11) did not have enough electrical outlets.2. It's a really tiny town, so THE restaurant was crowded. But we got to talking to the folks we waited in line with, who suggested we take Rt 12 to our next stop, Moab. WOW!!! Best drive of our lives!! So the crowded restaurant was really a lucky break for us!
Review 45:Because of its low price, I was a bit hesitant, but all other nearbyhotels were booked. No worries, though. The motel was very clean andneat, with all the necessities in place- and kind of a refreshing breakfrom all the chains we usually stay in. The Wi-Fi was awesome- unlikethose chains, where it can be hit or miss!
Review 46:Walls are very thin so you can hear the people next door walking around. Everything did quiet down and was no bother but if you were next door to someone with children it would be hard to sleep
Review 47:It was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Heater was good and not noisy.
Review 48:I didn't like that the check in counter closed at 10 PM
Review 49:Pretty good value for money and within driving distance of Bryce Canyon National Park. Much cheaper than options closer to the park.
Review 50:The toilet made a weird noise about every 30 min the weren't many sockets I'm the room we had to disconnect other devices in the room in order to charge our phones..
Review 51:We spent 2 nights in the motel which is in a typical quite town the motel was nice and clean
Review 52:If you are looking for an upscale hotel with lots of amenities, this is not the place, but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep at the end of the day, you need look no further. Room was clean, and rate was reasonable. Fridge, microwave, wifi, and excellent ice machine were each an added bonus.
Review 53:Wifi was a little weak as we were in room 19 but it didn't matter too much.
Review 54:Nice little rooms, very quiet, fridge and microwave, great value for money, walkable to the restaurants and cafés in town and a short drive to Bryce Canyon.
Review 55:Panguitch is very small, nothing to do in the evening, only a bar open till late.
Review 56:Perfect location if you want to visit Bryce Canyon. Nice hotel for a night, honest price for a night. Easy parking.
Review 57:Color Country is conveniently located to Bryce Canyon. Panguitch is an interesting town with lots of good eateries. The Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a very basic, old motel, with much evidence of age, but I'm not putting this in things I don't like because, from reading reviews, we weren't expecting anything more modern. If you're just looking for a clean bed and not expecting ambiance, Color Country will fit your needs.
Review 58:Color Country met my expectations.
Review 59:The motel, though older and a bit dated like all motels in this small southern Utah town, is well maintained. Clean rooms, fresh linens changed daily, ample parking, tv, ice machine, friendly staff, decent (though not perfect wi-fi) and just a 4 block walk to the town center.
Review 60:The internet is hard to connect. My friends and I had to open the door in order to get WIFI.
Review 61:Room was very clean and bigger space than others that I had visited.
Review 62:Only regret was I forgot to get the pillows we brought with us! Left them on the bed!
Review 63:It was close enough to make it to Bryce Canyon and back to the room each night with no problem. Saved some money staying here rather than staying right at the park. Good clean comfortable room.
Review 64:It was a little noisy- I could hear people in the neighboring rooms, but it wasn't bad. Also the parking area got very noisy in the morning as people were getting up and leaving.
Review 65:Very pleasant staff, close to the center of town, nice beds, and very clean.
Review 66:it was great. We were not there very long got in late left early. Appreciated that we could drop the key in a box so that we could get a very early start.
Review 67:Maid service left our door unlocked for 12 hours while we were gone, it was very difficult to keep the shower water temperature consistent, TV reception was dismal on all but about five channel.
Review 68:Motel staff was pleasant, easy access to wi-fi, reasonable price.
Review 69:It is very dated and things are worn out. Not enough plugs to chargedevices and the existing outlets are loose and plugs fall out of them. The shower had no water pressure and was very difficult to use.
Review 70:This is quaint little motel with attentive staff.
Review 71:Owners ? Staff were excellent.
Review 72:Bathroom tub and shower were not clean mattressed need to be upgraded

Review 87:There's no microwave neither fridge. The air conditioned is very noisy and beds are not confortable at all.
Review 88:The staff is very nice.
Review 89:Not a fancy 5 star resort but the rooms and facilities are very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Less than 30 minutes from Bryce
Review 90:Very comfortable bed, quiet rooms, spotlessly clean.

Review 92:No fridge
Review 93:Felt like home. Friendly and courteous staff.
Review 94:The room had a fridge.

Review 97:Asked specifically for ground floor and was given second floor.
Review 98:nothing special
Review 99:everything was good
Review 100:no breakfast, hair dryer or refer but we knew that.
Review 101:Clean room, nicely appointed for age of hotel, comfortable king bed.
Review 102:It was just old fashioned with the pool not filled and no breakfast but was really a good rate money wise.
