Review 1：Shower wall was separating from the wall, needed grouting, but everything was clean, so nothing major. We thought there was a free airport shuttle, there wasn't, but with Uber, it's really no problem, it would have only cost $15 or so to get there, and it only takes 10-15 minutes.
Review 2：Room was clean and well cared for. Looked nicer than you'd expect from the outside appearance. I liked that it was independently run. It didn't look like every chain motel. Easy parking, no fee. Easy driving distance to some excellent restaurants in the South Bay. We ate in Manhattan Beach.

Check in is 3:00PM" seems a little too much of following the rules. Also insisted I had to use the same credit card that I booked with, what if I wanted to use my debit???

Review 11：Drive to beach every day was easy. Room was on second floor in the middle and was very quiet. Not far to go shopping for a few groceries. Would stay here again!
Review 12：This is a small family run place, so I discovered there isn't always someone around to help you if need be. When I first went to check in and check out, there was no one available in the office. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about my stay.
Review 13：10 minute walk to the beach, very safe feeling, and great value for money. This is a very basic place to stay, but if you don't care for a lot of extra amenities that you probably wouldn't use anyways, then this place is for you. Everything was clean, simple, and perfect for a few days alone at the beach.
Review 14：The room dos have a slight musty smell. I had an early flight and was told the night before cabs can't be booked, but they can according to the cab company. A miscommunication but all worked out in the end.
Review 15：The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but had everything I needed, was clean, comfortable and big enough for one. About a mile walk to the beach. A great Mexican restaurant a block away and Target was a 20 min walk down the road for supplies. I was unfamiliar with the area and travelling by myself, but once I arrived I discovered the area to be lovely and I felt very safe the entire time.
Review 16：These people are extremely greedy, they make you pay for everything and give no comfort in return. The people are the rudest and the most cold I have ever experienced. The worst hotel literally in the entire United States. God help you if you book here please don't.

Review 18：Very clean and quiet room, updated and modern decor and comfortable bed. My room was a truly non-smoking room. The staff are very friendly and warm. I have stayed here 3 times and each time has been a very good experience.

The owneris running an unethical business by letting people book and pay for aroom and then turning then away without refund due to miscommunication.After waiting literally hours for a response from management and a promise we'd hear back that night, there was no communication for DAYS.

There's a coffee machine but didn't have any coffee making packets, I had to go to the front desk for it. I had thrown away some misc. trash & the cleaning crew didn't empty the trash can. The remote for the TV's weren't working, could've been the batteries not sure.
Review 56：I had the mini suite with sitting room & kitchenette, cute decor, recently upgraded. Loved the shower! Bed was a bit stiff but comfy overall. It had all the amenities you would need...blow dryer, ironing board/iron, 2 TV's, microwave, plenty of seating 4 chairs in the kitchen & 2 bar stools & also the couch and desk chair.
Review 57：Very helpful and cheery staff. It has a laundry which was very helpful because we were living out of a suitcase. Wifi worked depended on how many were booked in but I don't count that as a minus. It was a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Excellent value given the location.

I was traveling with my girlfriend and we wanted to go out to a club, the staff recommended we went to hermosa beach and we did it was excellent just what we expected. Review 74：I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere before where my expectations and the reality were further apart. Maybe I just got the worst room at this place but it was tiny. A bed and chest of drawers, no chair, no desk nothing. I was by myself and it felt claustrophobic I hate to think how two people would have felt. The wifi was rubbish and kept dropping out. I was booked to spend another two nights here at the end of my trip but was so disappointed I cancelled the booking and went somewhere else....

Review 82：The bed was way too stiff and I could barely sleep, and it hurt my back. I was told that the mattresses were new Serta's but my guess is that they were very cheap. I tried to check out after the first night, but they said I needed to give them 24 hours notice and wouldn't make an exception.

Review 107：The rooms are quite small. We had a bottom floor in the back building which was away from street noise but looked out on the recycling and and old mop and mop bucket. While in close proximity to the beach the motel is not in a very nice neighborhood and the lobby area where you check in is glassed in- which made me nervous. My husband looked at his bare feet when he was putting on his shoes after showering 15 minites earlier and his feet were so dirty. Yuck. The floors don't have carpet. They need to mop them!!
Review 108：Rooms were nicely updated with comfortable beds and a nice tile shower. The motel is fairly close to the beach - a 5-10 minute drive (a lot of teaffic) or maybe a 25 minute walk. There is a mini refrigerator and they provided some bottles water which was nice.

Review 112：This hotel was in the low moderate range of hotels in the area but it was the only one where I could find 2 queen beds, so we booked it with a little bit of reservation. Was I pleasantly surprised! The owner was so friendly and accommodating! I called to see if I could check in a bit early. After being told our room wasn't ready, he called back 15 min later and told me he had put a rush on it and I could come on over! The whole staff was very pleasant and helpful! The room and beds were super comfortable and everything was clean. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel!!

When I called ahead to confirm reservation and inquired about early check-in the property Mgr was extremely accommodating...he went out of his way to prepare a room to accommodate my request and called me several times with progress as well as when my room was ready. The room was larger than expected and in pristene conditions ...refreshingly modern, updated furnishings. Top quality... from bed, linens, extra large TV with extensive cable/satellite channels. Even the carpet was nice. Extremely convenient parking and highly accessible to all of LA ' S must see attractions.

I also like how you can park right in front of your room, I love this aspect of the hotel as I don't like to have to walk to far take elevators walk down a long hall way just to get to my room. This Hotel is very very convenient for my liking and the price point is right on. I would highly recommend this place
