Review 5：When I made the reservation I asked for a ground floor room because my husband has 2 knee replacements, a rod in one ankle and a hip replacement. It is difficult for him to walk long distances. The clerk at check in said she did not show my request and wenwerenon the 4th floor. He managed ok.

Review 13：I had asked for a quiet room and they put us right next to the air vent of the hotel. We didnt notice this until right before we went to bed, after having turned off the airco, so we slept with earplugs in stead. Thats why I gave a lower rating for the 'comfort' of the hotel, in any other room it wouldve been rated higher; because its a good hotel.

Review 15：Breakfast amenities routine: waffles, doughnuts, muffins, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, juices, coffee, tea, milk, etc. Problem was, on a gluten free diet, my choices were limited, and their quality was low: bland, cold eggs, tasteless o.j. I tried instant grits: very bland; cheated a bit and put a bit of white gravy on my sausages: also very bland.

Review 17：When checked into our room found it had not been cleaned properly. Beds were made but found debris on floor and tables. Asked them to come re clean it and was ok until my friend found dead roach and a silver fish crawling on bathroom floor. They were very apologetic and changed rooms for us but didnt offer any thing to compensate for the inconvenience.

We were charged twice for the room, and when we mentioned it to them they said there was nothing they could do. Finally spoke with a manager who said it would take several days to put the money back on our card.

Review 48：The facility is in a relatively good location; but it is in the SW corner of the intersection of Hwy 609 and Cook Rd -- bad traffic congestion. This requires a sharp left turn across oncoming traffic on Cook Rd about one car length past the traffic light at Cook Rd and 609 onto the Lamar Poole Rd followed by an immediate right turn into the parking lot -- a very dangerous and time consuming situation! Leaving is just the reverse of this mess; someone has to stop and let you out and onto Cook Rd. The entrance needs to be relocated/ reworked -- possibly moved west on Cook Rd to the rear of the building to get past traffic backed up at the traffic light. We won't go back there unless this dangerous mess is fixed!

Review 55：The breakfast was not good. The juice machine's door was broken so it took you twice as long to get juice. The waffle maker was in the worst possible spot for others trying to get breakfast items around the person making waffles. The layout location of utensils & cups made were hard to get to and needed more tables and trash recptacles. Our room did not have the right beds we booked in our reservation so had to switch rooms. Then the room they gave us had mold around the air vent & down the wall in the bathroom. Plus the door to that room was extremely hard to get closed & in fact we made sure when we left for the day that it was closed tight, but returned to it sitting a jar after housekeeping took care of our room. So no telling how long it was open with all of our belongings easy acess to anyone walking down the hallway. Very, very disappointed all the way around!

Review 56：I didn't like the fact of walking through the door of my room to be greeted with a stinch of a smell. I also didn't like that the furniture was dusty and the front of the dresser being so nasty to the point of you not being able to wipe it clean. I had to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a candle to burn in order to stay in the room. The housekeeper made us aware that she had been on vacation and no one had been on that floor to clean rooms. It had a stinch of cigarette smoke and funk, like it had been closed up for years.

Review 58：The pool area was very in need of an upgrade, very small and it had not been cleaned. So my family was not able to access the pool. We were booked to stay 3 nights. We only paid for 1 night and located to the Gulfport Best Western, much nicer rooms and an awesome pool.
