Review 2：Great easy venue, number of pools and beach so never felt crowded. Delightful staff. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Clean and easy. Great value for money.

Review 21：Brochure states "Non Smoking rooms available" which implies that other rooms are OK for smokers like myself. According to reception staff ALL rooms are Non-Smoking, which I was not happy about. Cottage rooms are somewhat small.

Review 96：We we fine that there was just a few restaurants to walk to from hotel along the beach. we rented a motorbike and went to the two villages either side ( 5- 10 kms) a few days and like the fact that this was a low key, relaxed holiday and that the resort was relaxed and quiet.

Review 97：Wonderful location right on the sea, beach at the end of the garden. We were cottage 7B right beside the pool and half way to the beach, excellent location. We booked four nights and could not leave staying 8 night in the end. The children's pool, the odd rings and balls and the small playground were a great distraction for our toddler. The rooms, the linen changes and housekeeping staff were top notch. The restaurant breakfats Thai food was very good , a new Head chef has arrived. The new general manager will make all the difference for better English to be spoken at the Reception and restaurant. We really enjoyed the beach and sea and just the relaxed atmosphere - there was plenty of spaces around the two pools and the place, although full, never seemed full of people! Just a relaxed great value place. .

Review 98：No internet in the beach front pool villa. Menu of main restaurant somewhat limited. Beach cleanliness (not infront of the hotel) but left and right of it. Too bad the government does not do anything about the dirt being washed ashore!

Review 104：Bus from Bangkok to Ban Phe takes 3h. Then you need to take minibus 20 thb per person (or private bus 150-200 thb, or taxi 200-300 means a lot !) + -15 min. Around the hotel there are only few small informal restaurants where you pay 2x more than in Bangkok, 3x more than in Chiang Mai. Staff don't speak English very well. Poor internet connection in the rooms.

Review 106：Greed. I had booked three nights in a garden level chalet as I wanted to be on the ground and beside the pool. I had paid for this in advance. After a long days drive when I got there they had given the room to someone else and had put me in a standard hotel room. It was too late to change so I decided to have a long shower. Hot water lasted all of 5 minutes and ran cold. Shower tray hadn't been cleaned either. Took me an hour the next morning to get any money out of them as there was no way I was staying any longer. I wouldn't have really minded if I hadn't paid for the room in advance, but they were playing the game of selling their best rooms lots of times and then hoping the guests don't complain when they get bumped.

Review 112：This place is absolutely ridiculous. The minute I got there I saw another guest who was really angry and arguing with the receptionist. That should have been my warning to leave. Unfortunately it was too late to cancel through booking.com. The staff here are the most incompetent I've seen in Thailand. Mosquitos everywhere (bad even for Thailand). Breakfast sucks. The safe in the room had the door literally falling off. It took two bone headed "mechanics" to fix it and once they left, it never worked; I just gave up on it. They asked me if I could help them out by switching rooms after my first night because they had double booked a particular room or something! I told them to stick it. On the second morning there was a knock at the door. The maids. I asked them to come back later as we were just getting up. They said they didn't have time to come back later. I told them to stick it also. I traveled for 25 days in Thailand and stayed in 7 places. This was by far the worst and on the high end of the prices I paid. Dump central. Avoid.

Hardly any of them understood English. The buffet barbeque dinner had undercooked chicken and prawn skewers, and for 699 baht, too little variety. The breakfast spread was not appealing, and there appeared to be left-overs from the evening before. Several hotel guests had to wait before pan-cakes, eggs, coffee was prepared for them. I think if these areas are managed properly and efficiently, this hotel can be a really good place.
