Review 1：Would've preferred a heated (or even a partially heated) dining area ...it was minus 10 outside so I was freezing cold in the dining area...even with snow suits on. I would definitely stay there again...just not when it's so cold.
Review 2：Loved the location and that pets were allowed without extra charge. The cabins were quaint and comfortable. Heating was good. Friendly service. Quiet location with nice trails.
Review 3：Not convenient for late check-in and no food can be provided at night (must drive 20+ km to the Golden town for it). No internet, no TV , and poor cell phone signal

Review 6：Nice cabins in the middle of nowhere, you have to drive 15 min to Golden for a supermarket or restaurant. It's a nice place if you want to stay in the nature with comfort (the cabins are very comfy & clean, good warm shower, large beds, big cabins. You get DVD's at the reception because they have no cable TV.
Review 7：They provided everything to make smores, the campfire, the marshmallow sticks, the CHOCOLATE and the cookies! The kitchen supplies were extra convenient, BBQ works geeat and the continental breakfast had a good variety.

Review 9：I loved the atmosphere. The staff are volunteers. You wouldn't know that, given the dedication to the guests that they show. They are wonderful. And the opportunity to meet many people from all walks of life and from many different countries was not what I had expected. I enjoyed getting the chance to brush a little rust off of my German! The critters on the property were fun to watch. The manager told me their names. I had never seen a Columbian ground squirrel before and they are a hoot. And the bird songs from the trees were a delight. If I ever get the chance, I will be coming back.
