Review 1：The internet was patchy at times. And the showers didn't provide very hot water.

Review 2：I liked the location. Walkable to Manhattan beach, and on a main route, yet the rooms were quiet. It was close to the airport, so good for flying out from LA.

Review 3：The breakfast is terrible. Things falling apart like a window with exposed glass kind of unsafe. I did say something someone came and look at it but that was it. They are remodeling though but exposed glass is not safe.

Review 5：They gave us a room that was under construction. No refrigerator, no clock, not painted. When I asked for a room with a fridge(traveling w an infant), the desk clerk gave me a key for another room and said " you can check and see if this room is done". Should this be something they know? It was done, thankfully. Why would they have given us a room under construction in the first place? Also, tired to check out and get a copy of the bill, but the office was locked and we couldn't find anyone to help us.

Very unfriendly people working there like they didnt care about the guests at all. Dont go there!! The pool is horrrible, there is no hot tub!!! Review 20：I had procedure, booked this place to rest well with ac. Well, I arrive checked in... I was sent to a room that was fully occupied. I Returned to front desk and staff did not apologize and gave me another room. Then we check in a room air conditioning took over 2 hours to cool the room... And when I used the restroom to wash my hand. No towels, no hand towels... I use toilet paper to dry my hands then couldn't even find the trash so I can throw the trash. I found it by the front door. Honestly, disappointed on just the basic things that should be in line. I know what I paid just expect basic that all. I thought management should know.

Review 21：all the first floor toilette were flooding. The staff told us at the beginning there were no more up floor rooms. but eventually we must moved to 2nd floor because of the toilette flooding.

Review 22：The hotel did not have my name on its booking list. It would have been problematic if the place had been booked. The facility is worn looking. My first room had a window that looked like it had been forced. I had to change rooms. The place was a bit depressing.

Review 25：Absolutely nothing.Oh! One thing.... their shuttle driver was a lovely proffessional man. The only positive that came from there. Bless his soul.

Review 26：I couldn't get the wifi to work at all, but my friend was able to connect, random. The breakfast was average, very little variety but free, so better than nothing. Also no shuttle from the airport after 9pm, and our flight came in at midnight so we had to take a cab. Also no bottled water available on site for purchase, had to walk to the hotel next door to get some.

Review 32：Booking made an error and indicated we wanted a smoking room; we did not. Fortunately, they got a cancellation so we could move to a new room. In our first room, the noise from the pool was loud. In our second room, there were no reading lights, the remote didn't work; there was no mini-fridge as promised; the wifi didn't work ( I found out later the desk clerk had given me the wrong password), and the door latch fell off when we tried to use it. The hotel generally felt neglected.

Returned at 3pm, checked in and went to our room to find the cleaner watching tv in there, stinking of smoke. He said he hadn't cleaned the room yet. Returned to the front desk and were given another room which had stains on the bed and dirty towels. The pool is tiny and stinks of chlorine and there were about 3 lounge chairs. It's also about a 20/25 minute walk down to the restaurants and beach. Really unimpressed.

Review 63：I have travelled a great deal and this is the first time that I have not had a closet or hanging space in my room, including at the Crimson Hotel before! At breakfast, they no longer serve bananas (only apples), cheese or English Muffins. I ended up buying my breakfast and fixing it in my room. I think some protein should be provided to call it breakfast. I like the underground parking but something dripped on my car that was difficult to remove.

Review 128：I love Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach so I was looking at hotels in these areas. I specifically chose the Crimson Hotel after looking at everything else because from the looks of it, it looked decent and clean and for the price which was the lowest in the area. It met my expectations due to its cleanliness, free wi-fi access, free parking, and it was peaceful and quiet. It had many selections of inexpensive restaurants around it, making it very convenient to get something to eat. Even better yet if you love Target, it was just at the end of the block at the main intersection, a 2-minute walk. It was safe to walk around the area and close to the beach, a 5-minute drive or 15-minute walk. They also had amenities like a small fridge and microwave to store and warm up your food, flat screen TV, ironing board, etc. Free Breakfast!! :)
