Review 1：it is an older property and has some maintenance issues - older carpet; caulking in bathroom...general issues.

Review 2：The price for the location and the facility was excellent. Its an older property, but it met our needs and was clean.

Review 6：The ad said you get a hot breakfast, but it was a continental breakfast. It also said the pool was heated, also not true. I wish it had a better view of the ocean, but all in all a good experience.

Review 7：The hotel has an excellent location. It is close to everything. The room was clean and comfortable. We looked at a different room closer to the ocean, it was set up a lot differently. no room in that bathroom, but did have a DVD player and stereo, which ours did not have. however the bathroom was way too small in the room closer to the ocean. The bed was very comfortable and had lots of pillows. There were lots of amenities, including a spa so I found that pretty nice for the price.

Review 8：We supposed to get ocean view, they offered us room# 425 and it had partially view from balcony.when I talked to the front desk, the yonge jentleman said sorry they are fully booked and he cannot do anything about it Also we paid for King bed but the bed looks like queen size

Review 10：Upon arrival they put us in a room that was not cleaned yet by housekeeping but they quickly moved us to another room. The hallways to the rooms did not seem updated much, the sports bar spelled like old grease. Other guests were very loud in the hallways at night but not any fault of the hotel itself.

And, while the balcony had a very good view when all neighbors remained indoors, the building's design is such that you have to look past/through all the other balconies (and people) in order to see the ocean. Uncomfortable, overall.

Review 34：There was inadequate lighting in the room. The too small refrigerator didn't work well. It either didn't get cold or it froze up the liquids. There were too many knick--knacks and no where to put your clothes or suitcase. The balcony could use some decent chairs and a table. The sofa and bed mattresses were worn out and uncomfortable.

Review 37：Great location, easy access to everything. Hotel was older but very well taken care of. Each room has a different décor. We were in room 610 and were very happy with our room. Very nicely decorated and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area, bar and restaurant on the property are very convenient and we visited them each day. They had a DJ at the pool each day which was a lot of fun. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Daytona.

Review 39：As a florida resident who enjoys beach getaways specially on along the east coast, I can honestly say this has been the second nicest hotel stay we've had this year so far (Second out of Nine). Nice Hotel with a great ocean front location. Can't beat the price for the accommodations. Room was very clean and a lot bigger than expected with a nice separate kitchenette area. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Even the partial ocean view from our forth floor balcony was awesome. I would definitely be going back and recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Review 50：This may not have been their fault, but the power went out in the middle of the night. No information was provided and there was no emergency lighting - pitch black. The power was still out as of 11:00 pm that night (2300 h). I gathered my things in the dark and left.

Review 82：I booked 3 rooms and the staff was very accommodating by placing us in rooms close together. I also requested at least 1 room be tiled rather than carpeted due to allergies and they provided so for all 3 rooms. The staff was pleasant and treated us well.

Review 93：Hate to leave negative reviews, but I have to tell the truth. We ended up checking out after the first night because our entire room, including the floors was soaked. Apparently, the dehumidifier wasn't working, so when we turned the air off, all of our stuff ended up soaked,along with everything else in the room. This caused both of us to have terrible sinus experiences for the remainder of our trip.

Review 107：On entering the room, we found a dead bug. There was nearly a one inch gap in the bottom of the room's door and tissues shoved in the peephole. It felt very unsettling, as if we had no privacy. The room had dust in corners and on counters and shelves. It felt very unclean.

The bathroon was dirty and very little complementery supplies. The AC did not work well, the room was very humid and the lights did not work well. The ice machine is on the first floor so it made it complicated to get ice.

Review 110：We paid extra to get the continental breakfast but only ate it the first morning. Absolutely horrible. Went to the IHOP down the block each morning after that. Our room was clean enough but plaster on the ceiling was crumbling in a corner of the room and I kept thinking it was going collapse on us. The restaurant on site was closed for painting the entire time we were there. That was disappointing.
