Reviews for 21C Museum Hotel Bentonville

Review 1:it was a different experience. Room was comfortable but different to the boring type of hotel room. Loved the art everywhere and the fun created by the green penguins.

Review 2:Staff was well-informed and shared ideas with patience and understanding of who we were. The "wandering" penguins kept us on our toes and the art installations were imaginative and had lots of appeal. The room and bath was very spacious.

Review 3:Awesome. Fabulous people who were helpful and kind. Gave us suggestions for eating and things to do. Turn down service was so nice. Not something you get nowadays. We loved every minute of our visit and will be back and will suggest the hotel to our friends.

Review 4:Location and accessibility to the museum are the draw but this is a great place to stay regardless. Different, attractive, cordial, whimsical. We were delighted.

Review 5:Excellent hotel as well as art gallery. The art as well as the staff and accommodations were all outstanding. The food was also exceptional. An overall excellent experience and well worth the money.

Review 6:Pet deposit was way too high proced

Review 7:Only negative is that they are pet friendly but charged a whopping $150 non refundable deposit for one night stay. Otherwise the hotel was great.

Review 8:We weren't pleased with the outcome of the soccer game we watchedin the room.

Review 9:I have never stayed at a hotel that doubled as an art museum - and itwas wonderful. Everything was art, from the actual museum pieces to thedesign of the room. &Quot;Boring" is a word that cannot be appliedto the building. The staff was very friendly as well. We received aninformative tour of the museum, and had no trouble switching to anotherroom due to a change in booking.

Review 10:Not really a done side to the stay. If I had to be really critical, I would say the only fault with the hotel would be possibly the shower where the wall and floor meet might need a little more cleaning. There was a little black around the floor.

Review 11:Enjoyed the robes and the fact that housekeeping willingness to bring ice and bottle water without asking

Review 12:I was just packing in order to check out, but three times they were knocking on my door, I guess it was in order to clean it. It was not the fault of the maid, but they should have some device to know that the room is occupied, or that was a tactic that hotel management invented in order to be sure that I leave before check out time. Oh well, what can we do.

Review 13:restaurant 'the hive' and green penguins all around :) bicycles, I loved the museum which is opened 24 hours, the room is lovely too.

Review 14:The bartender and wait staff were very slow at the bar. The next morning at brunch, it took forever for the food to come out.

Review 15:It's a wonderful art gallery as well as a unique very hip and ultra modern hotel. It was a lot of fun staying there. Plus it was located right by the town square and there is a woodland walking path to the Crystal Bridges Museum.

Review 16:Wonderful art throughout the hotel - don't miss the 5:00 tour - worth the price of the room. Most comfortable beds and pillows of any hotel I have experienced. Great people. Restaurant is best in Arkansas.

Review 17:This hotel is right off the square in Bentonville so you can walk to several restaurants, the Walmart museum and best of all to Crystal Bridges. The hotel offers complimentary bicycles so you can explore the trails at Crystal Bridges. The staff at the hotel are top notch and go out of their way to make sure you have a first class experience! Make sure you get a picture with the green penguin!

Review 18:I would like a back exit to the garage. I could have used a valet, but old habits die hard.

Review 19:Kindness and forthright conversation of those who work there. Design of building and the art displayed made the visit really special.

Review 20:I liked that 21c seems to have thought of everything! was disappointed no water in gym, but discovered it on my way out....lovely concept....read about restaurant in G&G...was not disappointed ...I have traveled the world...you have a fabulous thing going!

Review 21:Would have enjoyed guided tours of art exhibits.

Review 22:Comfortable accommodations. Finding surprising art in surprising places. Even waiters and check-in staff took time to share their knowledge about 21st century art and artists.

Review 23:Only front door access, uncomfortable room chairs, low hanging light over the table(bumped head twice), after the art , this is a sterile bland place.

Review 24:Location by Chrystal Bridges, charming town center

Review 25:Downside was The Hive. Food was expensive and not up to par for a top notch restaurant. Fish not fresh, steak is better at my local grocery, and bread was not hot - biscuits and cornbread. Other restaurants at 21c are excellent. The Hive has some work to do in order for me to return.

Review 26:Staff, rooms, art, quality of linens.

Review 27:The spectrum of quality never stopped. The physical facilities were top notch, from the building, to the guest room, workout room, restaurant/bar and if course the museum areas. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. The bar had a wonderful vibe and the mixologists, especially Brandon, were fun and helpful and displayed their craft and talents well.

Review 28:From the receptionist, no, from the doorman, when we first arrived, everyone associated with the hotel treated us as you would want to be treated at such a quality hotel; mature, respectful, friendly and very helpful.

Review 29:We only tried the restaraunt once. That was Thanksgiving evening. We left becuase of price of meal and did not try to eat there again.

Review 30:Location,helpfulness of the staff',appearance of motel, security, service

Review 31:I wish I could have arrived earlier to appreciate the hotel, and in the morning I had to leave early...

Review 32:Loved it, every detail was amazing! Ambiance, customer service and the staff mix well all together...

Review 33:Limited breakfast menu. Bathroom amenities not replenished.

Review 34:Art galleries. Openness and light - both natural and otherwise. Very hospitable for children.

Review 35:The Hive was great but had some trouble dealing with the nut allergies in our group. They tried though!

Review 36:21c was perfect for all 3 generations in our family, and we would recommend it for any age or group configuration. From 5-70 years young, we all enjoyed it. Great fun art!

Review 37:Nothing

Review 38:From the high tech lobby replete with contemporary art, to the clutterless and elegantly modern rooms, to the friendly staff and state of the art bathroom, this hotel is unique as it's name. It truly is a 21st century hotel. And within walking distance to an entrance to Crystal Bridges Museum.

Review 39:Can't imagine that anyone would find anything to dislike about this fun hotel.

Review 40:Great staff. Unique contemporary hotel. Wonderful facility. Walking distance to several great restaurants.

Review 41:After the rave reviews we've heard about The Hive, it was a bit of a disappointment. Staff was great but food overall was not at the standard we were expecting . . . . scallops were gritty, etc. We were probably thinking it would be more of a "fine dining" experience.

Review 42:Front desk staff (Ben) was fabulous . . . charming, with lots of great advice about the area and our next stop in Eurika Springs. Love the beds. What was the brand of the sheets?????

Review 43:Absolutely nothing

Review 44:The atmosphere of the hotel was energizing and the room was first class! Beautifully appointed with wonderful amenities and unique features. The art was unique and fun and the green penguin mascots took on a life of their own!

Review 45:I liked it all.

Review 46:The room was comfortable and beautiful. The art in and around the hotel was very interesting. The location was excellent-a block off the main square and a few blocks from Crystal Bridges. I rented a bicycle and rode the nearby trails. Staff was very accommodating. I had breakfast in my room twice--nice selection and delicious. It was fun to see the green penguins moving about the hotel.

Review 47:Having to ask for toilet paper after our room was cleaned. Shower head didn't work properly. Tub plug inoperable. Our mistake but we also missed having a pool.

Review 48:Artwork

Review 49:Hotel was interesting - full of contemporary art and well designed spaces. Always something to look at. Didn't feel like a typical hotel. Rooms were nice and comfy with lots of nice extras. Restaurant food and drinks were delicious and creative. Will be back for sure or check out the other ones!

Review 50:Coffee maker in the room didn't work?!.

Review 51:The art work display was outstanding. Staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Facilities were clean and well maintained. My special thanks to the staff who were responsible for cleaning the room. Also, kudos to our server at "The Hive," very attentive. Special kudos to the gentlemen who were helpful with getting our luggage out of the car and into our room. Another kudo to the young man who helped us take our luggage to the exit at the entry way of the building on our departure day.
