Review 1：The hotel is really worn out. My room had a leak when I came in from a broken fridge with water all over the floor. In an attempt to clean it the staff left a dirty rag on the floor when I checked in which was never removed. The fridge was never fixed. The room had a rustic smell needs a paint job. The carpet needs to be cleaned the doors looked like they were moldy. The shower was rusted the knobs were hard to pull. If you are staying here make sure you are not paying more than $60 a night

Review 3：The heater didn't work properly. It got very loud. The shower know didn't work properly. I had to get crafty. But everything else made up for it. Since the room had two beds, and I only needed one, I used the blanket from the other bed to stay warm.

Review 5：The room was big, is close to the airport and to the beach depending the purpose of your trip. People there speak english and spanish. There is s shuttle to the airport which is nice.

Review 10：There was once gentleman that worked at the hotel with a lingering b.o.; that wasn't so pleasant. I had stayed in 3 diff. rooms at the hotel, all of which had lights that did not work above the bathroom mirror. When I looked under one of the beds I stayed in, there was a hair clip and used tissue. Lastly, I think security could've been more tight, since anyone can just walk in. Overall though, it was OK for the money, but I won't be coming back.

Review 11：The fact that there was complimentary breakfast is a nice incentive, but I did not eat their breakfast so I wouldn't know how it was. In addition to complimentary breakfast, there was also free wifi & parking, which was convienent. Overall, the staff was really nice and the beds were clean.

Review 21：The bathroom door & walls were filthy with visible excrement! Tiles were missing & wall paper was peeling up. Floor tiles were cracked & dirty. No frig or microwave was in the room as advertised. For $150.TV was made in the 1990's Per note it wasn't worth the stay. Dirty linen bags puled up 9 deep, in the stairwell next our room!

Review 31：Walls are incredibly thin, heard people walking outside of our room late at night and a couple fighting above us in the morning. The room didn't look particularly clean and had some hairs on the bed and what appeared to be ash debris. We arrived at the hotel after 18 hours traveling from Asia with our 3 month old so we were exhausted and didn't notice this until we were about to get into bed or we would've requested a different room. We had to wait nearly 15 minutes for staff to check us in, despite it not being very late (about 10pm). Staff did apologize after we complained but reported he was "in the bathroom". Gross, wouldn't stay here ever again.

Review 32：We stopped an LA for the night and stayed at this hotel since it was relatively close to the airport and in a neighborhood we like and used to live in. Location is great but that's about it.

Review 33：I found that some of the lighting did not work and also had a mold build up on the ceiling of the bathroom. I would caulk the bathroom again. The smell of the room was odd for being a non smoking bedroom. This place needs a lot of basic maintenance for an aging property.

Review 34：The hotel is easy to get to to and centrally located within the city. The breakfast was basic but good and fresh.

Review 35：Were to start? Ok ,my friend and I arrive and get checked in to our room. Open the door and the smell of marijuna is so overwhelming that my eyes start to water.also the carpet is wet in some places. I go to the front desk who comes down and says he doesn't smell anything and he's over booked and can't move us. Out friends show up and we decide to leave windows open and head of to the beach for the next 3-4 hours. That should help with the room. WRONG! So of I go to the front desk again. This time new guy. He comes to the room. Wants to know if I've talked to any one Yep and no help. This guy full of apologies but over booked. Now back in the lobby 2 other people there waiting for rooms that they've reserved and there isn't any. So he's happy to get rid of me.his only statement about the smell of dope was yeah we have an issue with this. REALLY!,, so we end up bunking in with our friends. Still waiting to see if I have a refund on my credit card.

Review 37：Carpet and chair in room were filthy...as in brown, stained, never cleaned, old. Wall paper was coming off from what looked like moldy walls in the shower toilet area and under the sink counter. Slippery tile. Needs an upgrade badly!!!

It was dirty, carpeting disgusting, wall paper peeling off the wall in several areas, visual black mold growing on walls, carpeting drenched in front of air conditioner. The so called continental breakfast had stake cereal as well as the muffins. The bagels were the only thing fresh.

Review 41：Not the Hotel's fault, but work was being done on the busy Sepulveda Blvd just adjacent to the Hotel. Because the road is so busy, the work had to be done at night - Jack Hammers!!! Hard to sleep, and then in the morning metal plates put over the holes in the ground which clattered loudly each time a car drove over them...which was constant.

Review 44：The lighting in the room was a bit tricky to figure out. I did have to ask for an ice bucket as it was missing from the room. You might want to bring your own pillow as they are small and offer no support. The air conditioner prevented me from closing the drapes.

Review 45：The room was spacious and clean. I liked having a table and two chairs. The decor was pleasant and did not seem old and overused. The Breakfast Room off the Lobby was nice and cheerful.....and it had a place to sit down.

Review 46：Although the airport transfer runs until 9 PM, when we called at 8 pm from the airport and asked for the transfer we were told that the last transfer left at 8pm. The man on the reception didn't want to explain or listen to us when I was telling that on the web site its written that transfer runs until 9pm. We were quite disappointed. Breakfast wasn't good.

Review 48：After searching web for a hotel in the area, I saw this hotel as one of the last options and I booked the "last room" the day before in a rush to attend an event and read the reviews AFTER I reserved (omg they were spot on)! Cancellation had to be within a days notice, which I was not, and was unable to cancel it. When we arrived my fiance and I looked at each other hoping for the best. The elevator felt like it was going to stop. The room....was decorated with yard sale items, black speckled on the raw mattress, hair on the bedding, SPIDERS IN THE CORNER. SPIDER WEBS WERE EVERY WHERE. Dirty floors, dusty furniture dispute my booing request to ensure I had a clean room (based off of what I read and did not want that experience). We had to go request to have the room clean but housekeeping was gone so the repair man with a dirty rag and Awesome spray knocked down the SPIDER WEBS, spiders in every room in the suite. He said that it was "housekeepings job" and was even amazed himself....he said he would talk to the owner but....yea. We ended up telling the guy we wanted to cancel...and we did for ten minutes after discovering obviously seedy hotels and very expensive hotels were available. We checked back in and prayed that we would not get bit sui we ended up sleeping nude so we would not bring back bed bugs! The jacuzzi spit out black crap either from dirty jets or water pipes, and when we got extra towels, let's just say I wash my car with better towels than we received. Two were literally cut in half!!!!! Breakfast was vague stale bagels, state muffins,banana,Apple's and cereal.This was my first experience at a hotel like this it is not worth it at all, no way!

Review 50：I woke up in agony (after just over 7 weeks of travelling) it was the most uncomfortable bed I had slept on and my back/neck was killing me. It was like I had slept on a sack of potatoes! And the worst bit was I had a gruelling 15 hour flight back to Australia that night. (I am still in pain 48 hours later - I don't mind old motel rooms but the bed was shagged!) For the record it is at least a 30 minute walk to Manhattan beach too

Review 51：The staff were nice enough and facilities were definitely dated but all worked ok. Free shuttle to the airport was a massive bonus. Make sure you request it if you're landing at LAX. It's over $20 in a taxi for a 5-7 minute drive due to airport tax
