Review 1：Wonderful staff, excellent location in Karon, right next to beach at one end and shopping/restaurant/market at main entrance. Immaculate and great breakfasts daily.

Review 3：The hotel is very well located - short walk from Clarke quay, boat quay and China town. The bed was super comfortable and the linen was great quality. New modern spacious bathroom. Room was on 3d floor, no noise from street. Interior unexciting - brown curtains. Beautiful big swimming pool.loads of taxi's available.

Review 4：The smoking area near the lobby, were not so nice for the eyes, being in that wonderful place (I had the impression of "a jail"). There is space to be improved, in order to enjoy more the beauty of the resort, by having a coffee or drink with a cigarette.

Review 5：In general, everything was very good, the services, the food, the behavior of the staff, (especially Ake at Mint bar), spa area and most of all the green nature, all that trees and flowers around the resort.

Review 6：The prices for all the services offered by the hotel (SPA, restaurants etc) are a little bit too high. At check in they blocked a sum of 7000 baht on my VISA, without any previous notice. I had all the money back, but this policy is a little bit annoying.

Review 22：the view from our second room. The first room which was a family room did not offer balcony nor view. The kids play room and the staff there are fantastic!

Review 23：There is a lot of room for improvement. Considering the resort was a large one they need more people on hand. The lacking number of staffs or the lacking attention and initiatives from some of the staff made us feel neglected. For example It was raining heavily and when we requested to be taken back from the lobby to our rooms we would have to wait 15-20 minutes because there was only one bell boy attending to all the guests' need. Definitely do not blame the bell boy, management on the other hand needs to be organized to minimize situations such as this. Furthermore, when we requested room service near an hour for the food to arrive.

Review 26：Absolutely everything! From our arrival, the greeting by staff, the room, the facilities, all was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Review 27：Wifi signal was very weak, to the point it was unusable. Housekeeping was not very attentive, we had to ask for towels a few times and toothbrush. Breakfast has to be the part where points were deducted. Choice was average, the egg station always had a long queue, each morning i waited 15mins for the eggs.

Review 28：The resort has the wow factor. Facilities very good, and rooms very spacious (we did have the suite though). Location was very good for Karon beach. Lots of restaurants and stalls outside the hotel front and rear. I asked for a birthday cake to be delivered to the room as a surprise for my wife's birthday, i was willing to pay, though the hotel gave it to us for free, which was very nice of them. They also upgraded our Seaview room to a suite for the entire stay.

Review 29：We had a plunge pool villa, and there were several water leaks in the bathroom (side of bath, roof, toilet) so the one day it rained there was water everywhere. Other than that the room was beautiful and always kept clean. Our check-in was also delayed an hour and a half (non-peak season) which wasn't ideal after travelling half a day.

Review 30：Well manicured resort with pleasant staff. We only ate at the resort for breakfast and it was perfect - so much to choose from. We've stayed at Centara previously and Moevenpick wins hands down.

Review 39：The room key cards kept cancelling themselves. Small detail, but we were a long way from reception and getting back to the room with tired kids, only to be locked out on more than one occasion was quite frustrating.

Review 40：There aren't many resorts on phuket that offer a childcare service like moevenpick. A colleague recommended it to us, and we weren't disappointed. The play zone had several excellent carers (loy, Nina, Sarah, and minnie) who literally made our 3 year old son's holiday, and looked after our 1 year old (not many options out there for very small child care). We meanwhile enjoyed our own company, and some of the lovely facilities on offer to the guests.

Review 41：- In the morning we have agreed at reception a late check out at 2PM. At noon we got a call, that new guests are waiting for the room. - The sea was quite dangerous due to drifts. - Pool beds are reserved with towels.

Review 43：Misinformation. This is supposed to be a beach resort. It does not have a beach !!! The sea view room that we paid for had a sliver of sea and the rest was concrete. The staff and service were both terrible and could not be understood.

Review 49：Room needs to be refurbished, floor in the room was dirty. WiFi continually dropped out. We only used the restaurant one evening and they give us the wrong pizzas, my wife was given mine desolated the waitress asking who ordered each, mine had salami and my wife who doesn't eat meat was not happy to discover she was eating it. When this was pointed out the waiting staff seems disinterested.

Review 51：The buffet breakfast was of average quality, kids amenities are old and you need to pay for a supervisor per hour if your kid is younger than 4 for access to kids zone. A lot of sharp corners of the furniture in the rooms (not safe for kids). Overall, hotel needs to be refreshed.

Review 52：The residence gave access to infinity pool which allowed to stay away from overcrowded main pool (possibly, due to Lunar New Year holidays). Vast territory with nice walking alleys.

Review 62：when we asked information about how to arrive to Phi Phi Island and back the people from a tour company (maybe not belonging to the hotel, but in the lobby of the hotel, so authorized by the hotel) offered us a service expensive, which is normal in these cases, but the wrong thing is that for the way back they lie to us. I understand that they want to earn money, but I think they should be more ethical and not to lie like that. they told us that the only ferry we could take was at 9 am. and our fly was at 9 pm, so we lost a day in Phi Phi and had to stay in the airport all day waiting. When we arrived to Phi Phi we found that there are lots of ferries, but for this tour agency only two in a day.

Review 65：2 bed suite sleeps 6 in comfort with a double, two singles and a bunk bed. Its a villa with a spacious patio. Resort has a nice pool and the beach, shops and entertainment are all walking distance.

Review 66：The thing I didn't like was the fact that the water kept changing temperature. The shower would suddenly get cold and I would have to keep adjusting to get the temperature suitable for me.I also found Karon area unsuitable for me as there are very little Halaal food places. Infact there was only one restaurant that was halaal and it was quite pricy. For Muslim people it can be quite costly as you have take a tuk tuk to patong for meals which is very expensive ( 400 baht a trip)

Review 67：My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. In my booking I mentioned that we were newly wed.On arrival we received a welcome drink and facial towels for freshening up. The hotel beautified the room with lovely petals on the bed and a fresh fruit platter was provided. We had a sea view room on the fifth floor. The distance to the beach is a bit long from the hotel compared to the villas but the walk is refreshing. The breakfast selection was great. Waffle station as well lovely bread pudding. The pastry selection was not always the same. They had a few different pastries everyday. I cant really comment on the other breakfast foods as it was not halaal and so I didn't eat. The bathroom didn't have a separate shower and bath as I requested since those rooms don't come with showers and separate bath etc. I was offered an upgrade to the villa at a fee...but I didn't feel the need to pay for an upgrade as I was content with the bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The atmosphere and service was excellent. The staff very friendly. The property was very clean and well kept. We couldn't get bookings for the pool massage but they do offer this as well. The beach is not too crowded and its just a nice stroll away. The hotel location is convenient as well. the beach road has many food stalls and pancake stations and other stalls as well and the vibe is relaxed and not too noisy like Patong.

We were also disappointed that the beach resort isn't on the actual beach....you have to cross a road and there are no sun lounges provided for you....we had our own little yard to lounge in but there was so much noise from the renovations across the suite....I was under the impression they were only doing Reno on one of the restaurants so that was also disappointing.

Review 88：We loved the gardens, very well maintained and makes you feel like you are in the tropical forest in some parts. The staff were super amazing and really helpful. The kids really loved the swimming pool but in comparison to other resorts they need more than one little slide..we also loved how comfortable the bedding were and that they have a selection of pillows To suit you which is great. The breakfast was also greatd but it would've been nicer to have more fruit variety or if they changed it more often...it was practically the same every moring.. The suite was a great size for a family of 5, overall we still had an amazing stay.

Review 95：I was given a Ocean view room but what I see when I opened the window is patches of trees in front. The Ocean are way too far to be considered as Ocean view. Was really disappointed at the view. The rooms are kind of getting old. Bathroom shower head are fixed on the wall. It is hard to shower the kids. The overall feel of the room doesn't feels like I am in a 5 star resort. (I have stayed in 4 star resort and the facilities are much better) Only 1 main swimming pool for most of the guest. Can be crowded at times. The whole compound of Movenpick is big, lots of walking especially to the beach. To access to the beach, you need to cross the road. Can be quite dangerous if you have young kids to walk far distance (although the resort provided a guard near the back entrance to stop traffic for guest to cross the road to the beach).

Review 96：Meals are good. Customer service at the concierge and restaurants are good. The main swimming pool is not bad especially the pool slide for the kids. Location are excellent. Can walk of the resorts for shops and other restaurant.

Review 97：the Pool at the Pool Villa is so small and Cold, we couldnt use it at all although we have spent 6 nights there i didnt like the Lizards and aunts but this due to the Hotel Theme itself with the many Trees and tropical theme. the beach is too far the Public pool is cold and not clean

Review 102：Staff communication to each other is very poor( when i inform the morning receptionest that i won't change the room, the evening one asked me again although i informed them to inform this guy. My first experience in 5 star hotel to find insects in the room ( i found ants, and wall lizard in the room) and when i informed them the house keeper told me it is usual in thailand and he has alot at home. It was un expected answer and un expected reaction when he left me the anti ants spray at the room to spray it when i see ants. While check out also. They charged me twice for what i paid in advance. And the receptionest doean't know any thing about the amount paid. When i informed her she checked and modified the bill. But at all the communication between the staff is very poor. And the cleanliness not as expected. Reaction of the staff too. ( by the way they tried to satisfy me by a fruit basket which next day found full of ants
