Review 1：The bathroom needed some updating. The maid brought towels each day but didn't make the beds. There was no dish washing soap available.

Review 2：The hotel was steps away from the beach & easy to find. The room was spacious & the front desk receptionist was very friendly & helpful. It was quiet in the hotel & the balcony had a nice side view of the ocean.

Review 10：I have been staying at the Bahama House since 2005 when my son enrolled at Embry-Riddle. I never stay anywhere else when in Daytona. Jane has been my #1 staff person and I always ask for her when making reservations or asking questions or directions, or just plain talk. She's like family. Hotel is so convenient and always very clean. Staff is always friendly. Breakfast bar is excellent! Don't change a thing!

Review 11：We loved everything about the Bahama House! Everyone was friendly and very helpful! Room was very clean. Oceanview was great. Happy hour was awesome!!! The only thing I would have personally liked to see improve is the breakfast. .... it could have used a little more variety for the amount of time we stayed. Review 24：All rooms have an ocean view, and only 11 rooms per floor in kind of a triangular arrangement so each floor is more private - no loud guests stomping up and down a long hall. The complimentary cocktails each evening were very nice, and the rooms were spacious and clean and even had a kitchenette! Very easy access to the beach - we would definately stay here again!

Review 29：The time of the year end of may to jun the turtles come out to lay their eggs. The seaweed is not cleaned up so they can lay their eggs. The seaweed is smelly.

Highly recommend a week to fully enjoy the sites and history of the Volusia area. This location was close to all the best seafood restaurants.Bahama house us one if the tallest buildings in that area highly recommend get on higher floor for the view very beautiful and wonderful to see that cars can ride on the beach..particularly fantastic for accessibility.

Review 31：Bed was very uncomfortable, worn, and old as were pillows. Bathroom was pretty gross with rust around tub and on floor. Also several long hairs in bathroom that weren't mine (male with short hair).

Review 38：Took Pictures, mold in Refrig, Food in mico, oven top grease all over hair behind in bathroom, Mirror not ever cleaned , dust all over, walked through with head house keeper her she could not believe it... The mold in Refig. had be there a very LONG time. NO Manger on duty , NO Comp, NO CALL!! Very disappointed as we always go up as a group we will continue to stay at the Hilton. I will spread the word as Military we shouldn't be treated like this. MS. BAILEY By husband is ill and the room made him feel worse when we where there.

Review 47：Do not forget anything. The hotel doesn't carry combs, toothbrushes etc if you happen to forget. But a Dollar General and Win Dixie are right up the street.

I made this choice/booking online and the pictures are correct, we were so glad that we didn't pick the one next door!! It was so comfortable to come back to after a long day at Daytona Intl. Review 74：They serve a Continental breakfast at 7:30. Well I had to leave rather early before checkout time of 11:00 and thus was going to get some coffee/OJ around 7:00. Beware of the crabby old lady that guards the breakfast before serving time of 7:30. She was the only rotten personality of the folks I encountered during my stay.

I'm all for saving the environment but had to purchase own toilet tissue. theirs fell apart without absorbing anything. Never seen anything so cheaply made. Litterally falls apart if it gets even damp. View was of an abandoned hotel that was also crumbling and a smaller motel that was very unkempt. The surrounding area was desolute, dirty and lot's of vacant bldgs. was not a bit happy . The company I booked with will not cancel the last 3 days that were booked. We had to leave because of Hurricane but nobody cared. They told us to sit it out. I don't think so!!!!
