Reviews for Mary Cards Coach House
Review 1:Nothing really - only comment is our room (the Oak Room) is a bit dark due to the wood inside and it would be lovely if the sitting out area could get a bit more of the late sun: but I wouldn't let any of that stop you booking this lovely place.
Review 2:Wonderful location as easy walk to restaurants and pubs. Loved the spa bath! Excellent size for two mature adults!! The breakfast food was amazing there was plenty left to take for lunch on picnics!
Review 3:Have come here 3 times , if you don't like good hospitality then you might have a problem
Review 4:Spoilt for breakfast, Quiet, Very Clean , beautiful garden. Thought of everything with accessories and information of area. One extra was Handorfs Chocolates which lead us to venture and find a new place of interest.
Review 5:Accommodation was just that cut above: The design of the room in keeping with the historic property, the four-poster bed, the very peaceful and quiet location. It was also within short walk to restaurants, and short drives to places of interest. Paula was very friendly and helpful. It was a shame we were passing through and couldn't take advantage of the brilliantly well-stocked fridge!
Review 6:Greeting by owner was pleasant and friendly. The cleanest and most well presented rooms I have stayed in. Fresh local foods supplied for breakfasts. We loved this place.
Review 7:Would have been nice to have a sink in kitchen area, but not a real problem

Review 19:We recieved a friendly greeting on arrival and the lovely owners were really attentive. Set in gorgeous gardens, the rooms are private, quiet, well equipped and spacious. There is a great selection of quality food provided for your breakfast. Good restaurant options and a great wine shop up the hill in Olinda, we enjoyed our long weekend here!

Review 24:What a lovely place! The accommodation is well thought-out and kept in pristine condition by Paula and Rick. Excellent provisions for a do-it-yourself breakfast. Great location - a good pub one way, and shops and another pub and restaurant the other way, all within a short walk.
Review 25:You could hear everything through the thin walls and the toilets, showers etc where noisy, it really is the only negative thing about this property. If you are a light sleeper it would not be great.
Review 26:Lovely room with excellent kitchen facilities. We even had lovely possums visiting us, very good breakfast provided, I also liked the later checkout time.
Review 27:No dislikes.

Review 29:Leaving!!
Review 30:Beautifully appointed and lovely welcoming host. Breakfast supplies were copious and delicious. Bedrooms great and bathrooms clean. Set in a lovely garden and so close to many sights in the Dandenongs. Really good heating and close to restaurants for dinner.
Review 31:We felt the spa should have had a curtain or glass panel for showering and separate heating in the form of an IXL tastic or similar would have been appreciated. Also I had to ask for the wifi password when it should have been offered at the time of check in. A hint that we didn't have to do the dishes or clean up the kitchen would have been nice as well. (As we discovered the other guests left their dirty dishes outside their room)
Review 32:Plenty of food for breakfast although we were surprised to learn that we were cooking it ourselves. Good size rooms. Great heating. Yummy chocolates. Too cold to utilise but a great balcony and view.
Review 33:It just wasn't long enough.
Review 34:My husband and I received from my mum a wonderful 10th Anniversary Gift to Mary Cards. We were both extremely happy with the accommodation, Breakfast, everything and also in walking distance to everything we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful massage and a beautiful dinner. We are both use to travelling for work and often say in Motels etc but Mary's was ideal for a total stop and relax weekend.
Review 35:The only concern I had was the stairs to our room were very dangerous as it was wet and then we had a frost one morning.. A bit slippery
Review 36:The location was fantastic close to restaurants and shops. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful gardens. Though the weekend we were there it was the coldest day in Victoria for years.
Review 37:The room was beautiful, had a relaxing feel, the balcony overlooking the garden and trees was gorgeous. Wish I didn't have to leave. Breakfast supplies were superb. Media & Technology was great. Will definitely go there again, absolutely loved it. <3 Janette
Review 38:It would have been nice if we could have just turned down the heater in the bed room as it only had on or off as it was a little cool with it off and too hot to keep on all night. I felt the outside stairs up to the cottage were a little warn and dangerous as it had been raining.
Review 39:The accomodation was very warm and comfortable. The breakfast provisions were very generous and yummy.
Review 40:The accommodation was extremely comfortable and well laid out. Breakfast provided for self cooking was lovely and offered a number of options. Great location to access many areas in the Dandenong Ranges.

Review 112:We had a night away without our children and found Mary's coach house to be perfecf. Friendly staff made us welcome and the best thing was the location - we walked with ease out for dinner. Plus the breakfast supplies were fantastic. Even though we had to cook it ourselves there was a lovely little table in the ajoining room with crockery etc and heaps of food - eggs, bacon, spinach, English muffins, bread, yoghurt, juice, cereal and the list goes on. Great value for money!
