Review 5：Place is dated and filthy. Both beds obviously had dirty sheets as body hair was present. I wound up sleeping in my clothes. Avoid this place like plague.

Review 7：The "breakfast" was quite limited. Cereal, toast, eggos. No fruit or anything hot. It is a 20-30 minute walk to the main restaurant / entertainment area.

Review 16：Nothing like the pictures. OLD!! Furniture was limited, old and nasty. Staff very unfriendly and not helpful. Door entrance to room would NOT work. We were told because of light rain earlier in the day the Internet wasn't working and they could not do anything until they could get a connection. This was at 11:30 P.M. Parking was down the street then across 5 lanes of traffic in a large dirt lot without security. No shuttle.

Review 19：Staff was great. View was beautiful. Chris at the tiki bar was very friendly and engaging. Him and the view of the ocean were highlights of the stay. In previous reviews some mentioned a smell to the carpet. We noticed none of that at all.

Review 25：The hotel looks...odd from the outside; (but looks can be deceiving). Our door handle broke 10 minutes after checking in to our room (still don't know how that happened). The continental breakfast is something they clearly don't emphasize. The wifi is a pain to haggle with unless you're on floors 1 through 4 (we were on 7). A new parking lot is under construction, but in the meantime you HAVE to park across the street (which, in all honesty, wasn't too bad). The guests are...assorted.
Review 26：The room was very comfortable, large, and I had a pretty spectacular view of the beach! The location was pretty good (because all of the hotels in the area are literally on the same side of South Atlantic Ave). The staff is very friendly and prompt.

But when I received my statement I saw that I was billed again... 4 days after I checked out!! W.T.F.??

Review 33：Room was outdated with furniture. Each room is different because they are independently owned like condos. Room had a side view of the beach which was mostly a construction site with dumpsters. Staff was amicable, but almost resented that they were at work, never going the extra mile, especially when one person of our group was handicapped with a wheelchair. They accommodated him, but almost acted like they were inconvenienced. The hotel was aware ahead of time of special needs and was very accommodating over the phone. Continental breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, toast, pop-up waffles. One day there were slices of oranges, and then they vanished never to be seen again. Exercise room consisted of a couple machines in a very small room.
Review 34：Very convenient on the beach. Clean room. Staff was amicable. Price was very cheap compared to other hotels in the area. It suited my needs, especially when I spent most of the day at the beach. Outdoor pool was nice with an outdoor bar and comfort food. Bar was independently owned. Service was excellent, food was great, and the bartender was exceedingly friendly and willingly to go above and beyond to make sure our group was having a good time. Ample and free parking.

Review 57：I didn't not the the staff service. Scott was the only staff member who was nice and courteous to us. The rest of the staff were very unprofessional. We asked for extra pillows and he only gave us one. The complimentary breakfast is a waste and you might as well just go to ihop down the street.

The breakfast was very limited on food items, (scrambled eggs, and sausage links/bacon would have helped a lot). The coffee area in the lobby had one urn of coffee, and only a sugar and creamer shaker....no other selections were available.

Review 63：We checked in at 2pm, and after booking a beach side room 30 days in advance they said they were overbooked and could not give us the room. They gave us an Ocean view. The did discount the room but that's hard to explain if we reserved so far in advance. We won't be back.

The pools looked dingy, the black lady at the front desk was rude. Our door would not even open when we got there so the lady acted like I didn't know how to open a door but once maintenance came and realized that couldn't open it either, they moved us to another room which also had a sticky door but it opened. The breakfast was terrible and all their juice/milk is watered down.

Room smelt like smoke :p pool was very foggy .I figured the breakfast would be fine ceral fruit toast .if it didnt have eggs and bacon stuff like that no big.....smh the fridge is big in your room get stuff for breakfast! They have a nice place ta sit and chill and place ta eat inside but never opened and stayed dark the whole time .dont plain on watching any of ur fav shows on tv theres a reason they offer free dvds down stairs.. main reason I was there was ta be out side but on ya late night break from the sun before bed would have been nice ..there was a family reunion going on and they were every where .drunk and the smell of weed was in the air. Truth be told it has potential to be a nice place its perfect location .its the details that could be fixed that would make a world of difference

Review 91：The parking lot was being re done so parking on side consisted of 12 spots that people would place things in to save. The rest of us had to park in a dirt lot one block down across the street! I had. Cross a five lane road with a six year old and five year old every time I needed to leave. They also charge a 7$ resort fee when the wifi was impossible to join, the DVD rentals they provided where constantly out, there were never any available chairs at the pool and upon check out the luggage carts (all 5 of them) where all gone so I had to make several trips up and down from my room with two small children struggling to carry our stuff while three male hotel employees past us and never offered to help!!!! The lady at the front desk was rude and did not have a helping bone in her body!!!!! I would never go back to that place ever! I feel completely upset that I waisted my money on such a disgusting place!
Review 92：The parking was Accross the street in a grassy dirt covered field. Thiswas not disclosed during booking. There was a charge to park there. Iwas on the 8th floor and one of the only 2 elevators in the buildingbroke down. I had to climb the stairs up and down several times. Thetoilet in one of the rooms I was staying in didn't fill efficientlyso if my husband used the toilet, the next person behind would not beable to flush. It took hours to fill up so we used a bucket/trashcan and filled up the tank ourselves in order to flush as needed. The"FREE" coffee area never had any coffee in either one of thecontainers. I was very disappointed by the whole experience especiallysince one of the rooms was a gift to my best friend for her anniversary.I felt as if I booked a room at a Motel 6 instead. I come to Daytonaevery year and have never been so dissatisfied with my stay there.

Review 94：I booked two rooms. We needed a room to sleep 2 adults and 2 children, and one to sleep 2 adults and 1 child, all we had in each room was a king size bed. The hotel was kind enough to let us use roll away beds. Both of the king size beds were old and you could feel the springs through the mattress. We were also under the impression we would have a full kitchen which we did not. We were very disappointed.

Review 96：The outside of the building (glass panes) could really use some updating, cleaning. For some reason, our door would never open on the first attempt at swiping the card. Always had to swipe 2-3 times before it would open. Also, our key card had to be reprogrammed half way through our stay. Certainly no huge issues that would cause me not to recommend this hotel. The only reason we will look for something else next year is because this hotel lacks balconies.
Review 97：Clean room. Building was overall in good, clean shape. Location was fantastic. View of the ocean from our room was awesome. We arrived many hours prior to check-in but were allowed to check-in two hours early, which was a great relief after driving all night.

We were told it's cause people fill up their coolers to take to the races. We had to buy ice at a gas station down the street. The elevators were very slow.
