Reviews for Bizafrika Guest Lodge & Conference Center
Review 1:Were told to evacuate premises at 19h00 hrs and moved to distant location in same street to 36 apparently as we had pets with us so this definitely was not a good thing as it messed us up so we are not happy with the treatment we received ang I downgrade your status to junk
Review 2:The building which is on the advert is good but their back up measures to accommodate the so called overflow is not mentioned in their brochure so our treatment was unfair citing pets as an excuse as adverts cite pet friendly
Review 3:1.There were no air-conditions provided in our room and the children' s room. 2. Breakfast area was a disaster, flies were all over - it was unhygienic place to eat. 3.During our arrival we were disappointed to be told our booking was not including children and were charged extra amount even though we presented them with proof and we were told to direct our complains to Booking .comas they are not responsible for the booking 4.The manager was so stubborn , difficult and defensive to deal with the matters on hand when was approached regarding the above matters I HOPE THE ABOVE ISSUES WILL BE TAKEN VERY SERIOUS BY BOOKING.COM and I've already forwarded my complain to KZN tourism board to investigate the matter
Review 4:The receptionists were very humble and willing to assist but the manager was so stubborn , difficult and defensive to deal with the matters on hand
Review 5:Sound proofing the rooms would make a more private stay! The guests would then not need to entertain misbehaving neighbours.
Review 6:Loved Isabel and the kitchen staff for making a special effort to serve breakfast earlier so I would be in time to compete in UWS 2015.
Review 7:The parking space is very small. It was difficult to get out in the morning when there were cars. There is a huge unused space that can be used for parking.
Review 8:It is an affordable accomodation, situated in a very peaceful surroundings.
Review 9:This establishment is rated a four star, it is no where close to that, shocking breakfast, the most basic and cheapest of fittings, reception at a different location, a most disappointing stay
Review 10:No bad experience everything went well
Review 11:The staff was very friendly we get all the attention we deserve, wow what a service. The area as a whole tranquil and very relaxing. I will definitely come with the group of friends next time.
Review 12:The website gave this B&B a 4 star rating.Totally overrated! I wouldnot give it 1 star! Costs about r200 more than other B&B's inthe area of infinitely higher quality. On arrival - rang bell, to noresponse, and eventually noticed a sign suggesting that one has to checkin two houses before. Why not have a sign on that house!? Staff werefriendly. B&B has old furnishings. Entrance and 'lounges'filled randomly with bare work type tables and stacked chairs. Notparticularly clean. Room very sparsely and cheaply decorated in 70'sand doesn't look like anything has been done since. Curtains hangingoff the rails. Old foam mattress. Cheap hard cushions. Dirty cheap soapcontainers. Rusted furnishings in the shower. Old thin towels. Floormats dirty. Room's coffee and tea (loose not in packaging) wasstuffed into one tin container. No kettle to make tea. No milk to put intea.TV Set about 15 years old. Breakfast served in a different house.Fruit salad on table with poor quality fruit which was overripe. Noattempt at making setting or food look appetising. Tea brought by staffwas in a lime green plastic flask. No question as to what breakfast Iwould like - I am vegetarian. Waitress said she would be bringing myfood - I asked her how she knew what I wanted!? The person next to mehad a plate filled with rice, meat, sausages and eggs. Waitress broughta plate of processed meat (which I don't eat) and cheese which wasrancid. Bread for clients to make own toast was left on the counter -uncovered - flies flying around. The setting could be amazing, withlovely garden but needs a total overhaul and management who cares! Anddefinitely reduce the rates!
