Reviews for Best Western Lincoln Inn

Review 1:Gap under the door. Could hear as people walked in the hall.

Review 2:Timmie was a great help as we wanted to see the area as we are planning on moving to this area. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. A very nice room with a great view close to warenton and astoria

Review 3:No, it was a pleasant but brief stay.

Review 4:It is a nice, clean place with a nice view of the river. Can't say that about many hotels/motels at this price.

Review 5:The only negative was the location. Having to go through the Uhaul, overlooking a timber yard, and such a long walk away from Downtown.

Review 6:Room was comfortable, staff were nice and helpful, motel was well set out. It was quite given the proximity to the main highway.

Review 7:While the location presents zero view, it was very near the bridge we used to go to Long Beach which made the location convenient. The room was next to the ice machine and outside door making the area more noisy than I would like, but it was OK.

Review 8:I drove dive hours and paid $225 to spend 8hrs in a room with a broken air conditioner the hottest night this summer. The front desk clerk said maintenance had gone home and that she didn't have another room available to move us to but that she would leave a note for the manager to discount our room at checkout. In the morning the manager didn't have the note and was not very happy about the idea of the discount so after waiting 30mins at the front desk while she took phone calls & made reservations which made me late for my meeting I came to town for I left with a 10% discount. Bad Managment Best Wstern Astoria:(

Review 9:Bed was worn down so did not get a good rest. Location was a bit disappointing in the industrial area outside of town. Not a good value.

Review 10:Had a spacious King corner room with views of the water, but paid over $250 for it.

Review 11:The GM Suzanne Frazer kept things under "control" when several of our groups reservations were lost or misplaced. I attended my Family Reunion there and we had over 10 roomsover the 3-day weekend. Doug Dykeman

Review 12:Expecting a water view. Nope. Mainly a view of the noisy construction site. You know that sound trucks make when they back up? BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! That. And shouting workers.

Review 13:Nice staff

Review 14:The breakfast room is very small so not guaranteed a table. Lots of people eat in the lobby or their rooms. The fruit was bland. Only apples and bananas and one day just apples. They had no oatmeal on the Monday and that's my breakfast staple. The room itself had two queen beds and very little other space, hard for a family with a school aged child and a teen.

Review 15:Astoria is beautiful. This hotel was near the trolley and that was great. The front desk staff were nice. The poll and hot tub area nice and clean. The room service was good.

Review 16:Hard to find. Once you see the small sign taking you through the u-haul facility, there is gem to be found

Review 17:Clean, great view of the bay and a cool lumber yard.

Review 18:Dark decor, dim light in bathroom, closing bathroom door right in front of toilet, small room for price

Review 19:Outstanding staff ready to please and accommodate, sincerely friendly but not intrusive. Location was perfect for getting into downtown Astoria, to Oregon Coast or Long Beach, WA. Room though small was comfortable.

Review 20:Had problems connecting to wi fi over our 3 day stay.

Review 21:Pretty view of water and walkway Nice honest staff. I received a call after we checked out that the maid had found a pair of earrings we left behind.

Review 22:Our room had a very strange set up -walk in directly to bathroom sink and mirror. The toilet & shower in a separate room...very odd! - elevator to second floor is a fair distance from check in and our room location.

Review 23:staff friendly and informative - great warm chocolate chip cookies served upon checking in!

Review 24:Not a great room and beds not particularly comfortable. Yes, in the downtown area but not a great view of the river because a crane blocked the view. Was close to downtown but so are many other hotels. won't stay here again because not very enjoyable room.

Review 25:in Astoria

Review 26:not a bad experience just thought there should be black out curtains in the room was only a thin curtain which let in light.

Review 27:liked that it was away from any sea lions LOL very quite and a beautiful room with Jacuzzi in room.

Review 28:Beautiful room Quiet and relaxing We had fun in the pool and hot tub Breakfast had a lot of variety and was quite tasty Helpful staff Nice to have laundry facilities as well

Review 29:We had the suite on the 4th floor. For the type of upper-scale room, it needs to have a better toilet seat than a cheap, loose plastic one. Also, the overhead light in the kitchen would be more useful if it were brighter.

Review 30:The room was fantastic...great value for the money. Staff was friendly and gave us great information (where to eat, what to see, etc)

Review 31:It's slightly off the beaten path, though in Astoria that's still not far. A bit pricey for a one night stay, but the comfort of the room and extra amenities made it justifiable to my frugal nature.

Review 32:Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a phenomenal continental breakfast! Vitamin water in the lobby is especially appreciated after a night at Fort George Brewery!

Review 33:Did not like our room overlooking a logging facility. The view of the river on our right was nice but was diminished by the straight on view of the logging facility.

Review 34:The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Review 35:The "full breakfast" was ok but they kind of ran out of stuff and didn't refill it quickly enough. Coffee was terrible. The beds are on the soft side and I like a firmer mattress.

Review 36:The location was good, everything was clean, staff were really helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 37:Beds were hard. guests upstairs were loud. Needed signs indicating proximity to the water.

Review 38:Comfortable room, good rates, good breakfast, took pets ($15 per pet), good location.

Review 39:we stayed two nights , When we came to back to our room our room was half made up. Only bed was made the rest and the dirty towels were replaced. But that was it! room was very small for the price we paid

Review 40:beautiful room and motel. wonderful pool sauna and hot tub.

Review 41:The room and furnishing were great. I like the hotel now that we stayed there. Rather hard to find, not signed as well as could be. I would stay there again and will. Breakfast was good, far exceeds other hotels offerings.

Review 42:The location. It is a little difficult to spot while driving. The signs are small and obscured by the street structures. The building in itself is confined to an industrial/shipyard atmosphere, a not too attractive site for a motel.

Review 43:Mattress too soft...waay too soft. King bed could have been nice if more firm. Disappointed. No garbage cans in hallway or near vending machines. Odd.

Review 44:The location and staff. Breakfast ok.

Review 45:There is no restaurant in the hotel and breakfast was a bit hectic with a lot of people trying to get something to eat all at the same time.

Review 46:The hotel was clean and comfortable and close to everything we wanted to see. it was close to walking paths and my grandson and I enjoyed picking blackberries along the path that we ate with our waffles.

Review 47:Not enough room for all the guests to have breakfast. the pool size was compact, the view or the boat grave yard was not that nice. It was the smallest room and the most expensive on our trip over to the coast.

Review 48:The breakfast the next day was nice. It was nice to have the luggage carts available.

Review 49:The people in the room above us from 9:45 pm to 11:15 pm every night sounded as if they were running the length of the room. The stomping was annoying. The last night we almost went up to their room to complain but I just put a pillow over my head and my friend took out her hearing aide.

Review 50:The view of the mouth of the river and the bay from our 3rd floor room. A view of the river walk and the fishing boats. The beds were AMAZING!!!!!

Review 51:Parking was an issue on the weekend portion of our stay but didn't have an issue on the week day nights.

Review 52:The breakfast was great morning. It was nice not to have to run around town looking for something.

Review 53:The area for breakfast is VERY small and should be expanded to offer more seating area for guests. The first morning my family and I squeezed into a space in the lobby to eat without a table.

Review 54:Rooms were very nice and spacious, bed was comfy, every floor had an ice machine and soda machine which was very convenient.Staff was very friendly, and my kids loved the pool area.

Review 55:The rooms had to much or to big of furniture for the size of the room, there was little room to move around. The toilets were to low to the ground making it difficult getting up and down, they may have been fine for someone under 5 feet tall

Review 56:Great place to stay with our two large doggies. super friendly staff. Will stay there again on our next trip to Astoria!

Review 57:The pool was too cold.

Review 58:Love the room. It was very nice. The front desk help was wonderful.

Review 59:Wifi was quite slow at times.

Review 60:Nice views of the Columbia River.

Review 61:Everything was good for us.

Review 62:Great beds, very nice view. Quiet location. Close to everything we wanted to see.

Review 63:Bathtub didn't drain.

Review 69:Extremely overpriced for the location and value.

Review 70:Room was ready when we arrived.

Review 71:Entrance to facility very poor and not well marked

Review 72:Quiet, excellent location.would recommend to a friend.

Review 73:Prefer to not be next to families with lots of small children.

Review 74:We had a great time. It was very quiet and relaxing.

Review 75:Breckfast was good.

Review 76:Very high priced considering other motels in area. We paid $150 for two queen beds in Seattle. Basically the same room.

Review 77:Beds are really hard.

Review 78:I love the help and the pool area

Review 79:Room was too small

Review 80:Location Breakfast

Review 81:Pool should be warmer

Review 82:Beds, location

Review 83:The entrance to your facility through U-haul.

Review 84:The comfort.

Review 85:Little expensive.

Review 86:Staff were very helpful. Location as in view was poor, but access great. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool facilities excellent.

Review 87:Location, no dining nearby.

Review 88:Cleanliness

Review 89:We checked in very late and were still greated with a smile and enthusiasm from the staff. Our room was clean and comfortable and very quiet.

Review 90:the price was too high for the value.

Review 91:area was beautiful. the facility was clean and comfortable.

Review 92:Nearby trail for walking dogs. Location to town. And very friendly staff.

Review 93:Hotel is a bit older in style. Rooms were small. View out the window was partly industrial.

Review 94:Nice to be near the riverfront walk.

Review 95:It was pricy for one night..

Review 96:WI FI and TV would not work. Other customers also were complaining about this. Front staff did not know how to deal with problems.

Review 97:Love that the pool and spa are open 24 hrs. Great staff. Very clean. With it being a busy weekend hotel was quiet and pleasant.

Review 98:The free breakfast was terrible, not worth even going down to eat. The room could have been cleaner.

Review 99:The view was great. Comfortable bed.

Review 100:Too hot in room!

Review 101:Nice to have the eggs at breakfast. Coffee was better than average too.

Review 102:upholding BW standards nice place have used before

Review 103:no deck

Review 104:Cleanliness, comfort

Review 105:Wi-fi was spotty

Review 106:End unit was nice.

Review 107:Wonderful clean and friendly.

Review 108:Checking out early in morning to go salmon fishing and the desk attendant offered to request early breakfast service at 5:30am (normal 6:00am).

Review 109:Access to the Motel was a bit tricky

Review 110:Rooms well furnished. Nice breakfast Cookies on the front counter Access to rooms from car park good

Review 111:Noises from people walking upstairs at 4:30 a.m. every morning.

Review 112:Just about everything.

Review 113:It was clean, comfortable and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. This motel was a good choice.

Review 114:breakfast should be til 10:30 not 9:30

Review 115:The beds, the cleanliness, the evening staff, the breakfast and the cookies

Review 116:Nothing

Review 117:Thanks for another great stay and great food!

Review 118:dinning room very small never a place to sit had to take it to are room.next morning same went out for breakfast

Review 119:the room were nice

Review 120:The staff went beyond my expectations when I had to leave unexpectedly. I will stay here on my next visit as my thank-you for their efforts.

Review 121:The location was great it was between everything we wanted to do. Also the children enjoyed the pool very much.

Review 122:Breakfastroom too small, the rooms were too small for 4 people

Review 123:New facility

Review 124:Someone slid my receipt under our door on our last day staying there, they should have just waited till we checked out to give it to us. There is a shipyard right behind the hotel with ships rotting there.

Review 125:I got greeted when walking in the front door. The place was very clean. There was breakfast.

Review 126:We waited for an hour to check in, as there was only one person checking us in and a lot of people waiting. The receptionist was doing what she could, but they needed at least 1 more person at the desk.

Review 127:Nice rooms, great pool for the kids and good breakfast.
