Review 1：Challenged exactly on arrival to pay for a colleague who could not travel. Had to pay for a night I did not stay, because it was not cancelled in advance. Dreadful reception to get on arrival. No sense of care or hospitality. Walls paper thin, could hear every other room noise.

Review 3：Someone previous to me in the reviews complains about 'having towalk along the hallways'. Well it's either that or float downthem, I guess. Which would probably just scare the other guests anyway.Or maybe he meant the plaza didn't make him happy enough to forwardroll all the way to his room and back. So fair enough. You need to be atthe Savoy for dat, mate.

Review 4：The paintings all over the hotel (often of venice!), the red and goldrugs, the old-school 'bank vault' doorkeys, the fridge. Thatit's called 'the plaza'.

Review 5：Although on booking com it was stated euro 115 the manager insisted it was euro 120 according to exchange rate & wanted paid immediately. Located at a roundabout we were subject to traffic noise most of the night. Room was extremely warm with no ax.

Review 6：Old style a bit run down. Family room small with no room to move with 2 double beds in it. No room in car park so had to park across road. Bags had to be carried down road & up front stairs through restaurant. Lift small & had to walk along winding hallways.

Review 16：Great welcome from the hotel manager who was very charming and gave some information on the local surroundings. Our triple room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The shower was excellent: nice and powerful. Good location with lots of bars and restaurants in working distance, including across the border in Germany. Very good selection for breakfast with cereals, fruit, yogurts, cold cuts, cheese, many types of bread and jams.

Review 17：- Boring location. Not close to any of the tourist attractions of Konstanz - Located inside Switz and things are very expensive compared to Germany which is 10 mins - Old Rooms. The portable TV from the cold war age is such a big big big turn off - No facilities or amenities - The breakfast was limited. Almost no variety or options - Overall ambiance not fun

I had to park on a time limited public parking space and had to get up early to change parking time each hour in order not to get a fine.

Review 54：Room size was really really small. Though we requested for a double bedroom, we got 2 separate single beds. With a kid, it wasn't optimal. Room heating was not working. Given the price for the double room, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Review 64：It was not near any easy travel locations. Had to drive everywhere. We had to leave one day early and the man charged us for it. Located at noisy intersection - right on a circle and there are constant cars going by all night. Of course, in summer this is worse because you have to have the windows open...no air conditioning.

Review 67：It's not true that the staff doesn't know the password for theWiFi, there is simply no WiFi at all. We have tried to explain thesituation to the staff but they had absolutely no interest in helping usand solving the problem - the only reply was that it should work and weare doing something wrong. We have tried on 3 separate devices,didn't work, so if you'd like to stay there for business andneed Internet access, don't! The room we stayed in was veryineffectively designed, 10 centimeters of floor difference between thebedroom and the bathroom, with a door that it's nearly impossible toclose with not being in the way. The staff was in general neglectingsometimes even rude and they don't speak English at all.

The breakfast was abuffet that was more than adequate for me and my friends. The hotel ischeap for the area, but I think reasonable value. The room had a smallfridge that I found useful to keep water and wine in.

Review 75：Very strong smell of rancid oil everywhere around the hotel and even outside in the open air - at dinner time and some time thereafter. Probably from kitchen smoke extraction to roof ducts that require replacement.
