Reviews for Heat Hotel
Review 1:Freezer in frig. was frozen over. Would not shut. We thawed it out, cleaned up mess. Flourescent lights blink on and off constantly. No hot water.
Review 2:Location, location, location
Review 3:We were moved twice. 3 sperate rooms and still having issues. Our first room had no hot water our second room had no ac and issues with the phone. And our third room the coffee pot doesn't work. We can't get a room that is in good working order and our stay is not as good as we're paying. We will not be back. Our rooms made our honeymoon stressful and we are displeased with this hotel.
Review 4:The bed was amazing and the idea of the room was cool. We liked the neon lights.
Review 5:Walls were kind of thin and easily conveyed noise from adjoining room....but it could have been worse.
Review 6:Loved the location, amenities and staff. The view was excellent and several restaurants and shops were within walking distance. Would stay here again. Loved the Bar in the reception area.
Review 7:The room was outstanding; large comfortable beds with great decor and furniture within the room, not to mention the phenomenal cleanliness of the general facility. Located at a pristine location which provides an excellent view of the London Bridge and easy access to the city. Absolutely no complaints; the stay was first class and I would highly recommend this facility.
Review 8:No washcloths in room, only one bar of soap for both hand sink and shower. When we checked in were informed of a hundred dollar deposit charge for the mini bar that would be put on our credit card and then returned in 5-10 working days, did not know or see anything in writing of this policy before booking room, very underhanded !!. Would not go back to the "Heat Hotel" just for that reason alone. We were awakened both nights of our stay in the middle of the night by people arguing in the hall, slamming doors, and party goers out front.also they advertise refrig, separate from mini bar when in fact they use (and load up) the refrig with soda and beverages for sale so you have no room in it for your own use.
Review 9:Good location with great view, Comfortable bed
Review 10:Super nice room and view. Very nice hotel employees. Wish we had more time to stay there. This was our 3rd December visit....now it's a annual tradition for us...love it!
Review 11:no decor, large room, white walls, minimalist furniture, nothing on walls. Computer was down & we waited hours to get the room, at 8 at night
Review 12:great bed
Review 13:Definately a party hotel! Party outside was fine, couldn't hear it until it moved to our hallway at 3:00am. Grown adults running the halls and yelling like little kids. Called down to the front desk, she said she'd take care of it. Was woken up 2 additional times after calling.
Review 14:View of the London bridge. Comfortable beds. Good location.
Review 15:I've stayed here numerous times and it's an excellent hotel beds are so comfortable u fall asleep instantly u got restaurants all around u and a bar there at the hotel so u don't have to go far to lay down after a few drinks.
Review 16:At check-in, we were not offered a map or wi-fi information. Thought perhaps the info was already in the room, but the booklet in the room said to go to the front desk for maps and wi-fi. Silly. It should be offered at check-in. While it was quiet on a Monday night, we could tell that it would be very loud and a party atmosphere on the weekends, due to outside bar and band.
Review 17:Great balcony overlooking the London Bridge.
Review 18:We were right above the outdoor patio bar- it was a Tuesday night so we didn't think this would be a big deal. However, even though there were just a handful of people at the outdoor bar, it was very loud. Also, our air conditioner leaked from the ceiling. We only paid $119 so I guess you get what you pay for
Review 19:Very modern room with great natural light. Bed was top quality with beautiful sheets/comforter. Room very spacious and updated
Review 20:We loved EVERYTHING!!! The location, the facilities, the staff, but especially the bed. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in, including my own.
Review 21:Loved the location and the outstanding view. The rooks were so clean and fresh....In addition, the comfort of the beds were amazing! Also the towels were so soft....The staff was very nice and the drinks were reasonably priced. There is no pool or Jacuzzi, but that really didn't matter for the short time we were staying, however, it could use additional amenities, ie restaurant or pool and jacuzzi.
Review 22:No café or coffee (Starbucks's or something) on site, other than in room coffee maker and we know the kind of coffee from in room makers!!!
Review 23:hotel was clean and well appointed.
Review 24:The box springs on our bed was broken, so everytime we moved around the bed squeaked. Housekeeping didn't have another one to replace it.
Review 25:The staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.
Review 26:No complaints whatsoever
Review 27:Stayed here last year as well - we come for the IJSBA event and will be staying with you again next year. Beautiful room, location and view! Staff very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Lovely clean fresh smell all around the hotel - 5 stars from us. Thank you
Review 28:We got "upgraded" to a huge apartment at the back of the hotel with no view of London Bridge. Lake Havasu has very little to offer unless you like boats. Very hot too !
Review 29:A good stopping off point between the Grand Canyon and Palm Springs
Review 30:Nothing.
Review 31:Stayed here 3 years ago and loved the location right next to London Bridge. This time we were given a free upgrade to a suite and it was amazing.
Review 32:It's a hotel. Not a nightclub. They pointed speakers at the rooms trying to get people to come and spend money at the bar. Complete JOKE!!!! 30 people at the most in the "so called Club" every night. They need to figure it out. "It's a hotel"..............
Review 33:Room
Review 34:An absolutely horrible band playing at the outside bar (extremely LOUD) that rattled the pictures on the wall and kept us awake until 12:30 AM. Front desk said too bad!!
Review 35:We liked the idea that it was close to the water and walking distance to a few restaurants. The room was large, plenty of space to walk around but very plain. Plastic type chairs at the table in the room. Two tiny picture on the big blank walls. White walls, very cold looking but overall a comfortable room.
Review 36:The is a night club across the water. And when I say it was loud - I mean it was loud. I could hear word for word every song that was being played like is was in the room. The sad thing about this is that they don't warn you. The hotel is great and I would stay there if I hadn't got anything particular to do the next day but we had an 8 hour drive and a 7am start the next day which is why you should be told prior to booking. The inferno suites are immaculate and they have obviously spent a lot of money on them so if they just paid a bit more for sound proofing there wouldn't be an issue and i'd give it a 10.
Review 37:The room was amazing - we stayed in an inferno suite. The staff were great. If was spotless.
Review 38:The wifi didn't work, and the instructions for operating it were clearly outdated. The water temperature in the shower was impossible to control, and a call to housekeeping took 20 minutes to answer. The much-ballyhooed bar in the lobby was, in the words of the bartender, "understocked", meaning that he had to run to the outdoor bar to get basic ingredients for me.
Review 39:The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had a terrific view of the London Bridge and the water, the biggest highlights of the town.
Review 40:Not what was depicted on website. Bathroom fixtures broken handles in shower and such. Paid way more than the place offered visually
Review 41:Location that is it.
Review 42:Nothing
Review 43:simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in,l. The views of London Bridge are amazing, but the standards within the hotel are exceptional. Very comfortable beds and pillows, jacuzzi baths and good kitchen facilities made the stay here just all to short. The staff were really friendly and helpful, made us feel really welcome.
Review 44:I didn't like that there was no boat/ trailer parking. If you want to go to sleep early on a weekend the music is loud.
Review 45:I liked the fact that i could pull my boat into the channel in the morning while my family got ready for a day of boating and we could go from there
Review 46:The bar above our room kept us up till 2:00am! No hot water in the morning!
Review 47:Room and bed is great. We have stayed there many times but the music keeps getting louder and lasts longer. Got s full refund which was appropriate.
Review 48:Yes I know it was just the beginning of spring break, but thought the price was a little high.
Review 49:Very convenient / walking distance to restaurants and bars . Also, right next to London Bridge. Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Modern, trendy room decor was different but fine.
Review 50:There was a DJ at the hotel bar outside on a Friday night. Even though the windows were completely shut and the hum of the air conditioning was quite loud, the music was loud enough to be coming from the room itself. It's not possible to rent out rooms in that condition!
Review 51:The outdoor bar blasts pulsating "music" until 2am, with a DJ, making sleep impossible. If you forget to bring the credit card with which you booked the reservation, the hotel will bill another card and tie up your funds on both accounts with holds for "discretionary charges". It took a week to get the holds/refunds released.
Review 52:Nice views of London Bridge and Lake Havasu.
Review 53:Staff was extremely rude. Very unimpressed. Didn't act like they wanted our business and had major attitudes. Room was VERY plain. Hot water for shower either rarely worked or was scorching hot.
Review 54:View was beautiful. Bed was comfortable.
Review 55:The room that i stayed in was a good size. We had a great view of the channel and bridge from our balcony. It is within walking distance to restaurants and stores.
Review 56:I can't think of a single thing we didn't like.
Review 57:The heat hotel was incredible. I messed up my reservation and they helped us fix it quickly and were extremely nice about it. The room was amazing and everyone was in love with it. The two days my friends and I spent there were the best two days we've had in a while. The security guards were so helpful when we needed them and JJ at the bar was fantastic. We will be staying here again very soon!!
Review 58:The rooms were great with the Jacuzzi tub the shower was awesome and all the LED lighting and also the bartenders and manager were the best! They also have Pabst blue ribbon beer! How sweet it is!!!!!
Review 59:The main reason to visit Lake Havasu is to see London Bridge. What better way to do this than have a balcony room at the Heat Hotel overlooking the lake and bridge. The room was spacious, well fitted and clean. Bear in mind that this is a small boutique hotel with no restaurant. However there are several eating options within easy walking distance.
Review 60:They did not disclose to us at time of booking that there is a dj (very very loud) on the deck at the terrace entrance next to lobby playing at full level until 2am. All of the balconies and bedrooms get the full brunt of the music...literally shakes the glass on the sliding doors...NO SLEEP!
Review 61:The location is great
Review 62:Sunk into the bed a bit. Softer than I prefer but this is a very minor issue considering.
Review 63:If you want to be next to the lake and bridge, this is the best location. The Inferno Suite was huge and ultra modern. A work of art. Three separate sections including a living room area with huge couch and seats, a bedroom area, and a jacuzzi, shower and bathroom area, separated by curtains. Sliders open to a patio with a view of the London bridge and the river. New and clean. Can walk to multiple restaurants and bars including some of the most highly rated ones in Lake Havasu city. Friendly staff too.
Review 64:I was in Lake Havasu on business and really needed to access the internet. The WiFi was down the entire time:(
Review 65:The room I stayed in on the lower level was gorgeous with an incredible bed and pillows.
Review 66:The picures scrolling on their web site led you to believe the rooms were very sheek and modern. The room was nothing like that--just ordinary. The carpeting throughout was really beaten and worn. We checked out after 1 night.
Review 67:The location was nice with a direct view of the London Bridge
Review 68:Room was cold. Couldn't get the heat to turn on. Didn't understand why they weren't changing our bed when we put the sign on the door. On our last day, we found the little note telling us to put it on our pillow. Not your fault...but, the cars on the bridge hitting the coupling was loud and distracting.
Review 69:Loved the view from our room. The staff was all super nice!
Review 70:Due to schedule not being able to stay longer... :-(
Review 71:What an amazing hotel and location. Having fallen off a long haul flight and arrived late we were greeted with a friendly smile and the most AMAZING hotel room of our 3 weeks in the USA. difficult to find words to express how impressive the room was and then stepping out in the morning and looking directly up at London Bridge - spectacular. There is no Breakfast but don't worry head to Makai Cafe a 3 min walk away, again the best breakfast of our entire trip!
Review 72:WARNING: If you want to actually SLEEP here...during high season, especially Spring Break, you will probably have a tough time, given this wonderful (busy) location and outside bar beneath your window. I can picture this being very noisy! Additionally, the walls were quite thin, so noise from neighbors could be a big problem when housing partying vacationers.
Review 73:Best location in town for a view of the London Bridge. I think all the rooms have at least a river view and many with bridge views! Convenient to several good restaurants and a bar on site overlooking the bridge and river. The room was clean and very modern with a balcony.
Review 74:Couch was uncomfortable but we did not use it much. It would have been nice to have a microwave in room. Did not have enough room in refrigerator to put what we wanted to put in it.
Review 75:The room was very spacious and it had an excellent view right outside of room. Staff were accommodating.
Review 76:Shower facilities were great only no place for the soap other than the floor. Large room with lots of amenities but not really comfortable...if you sat in the comfortable chair you couldn't see TV unless you moved it. Only two chairs available outside for numberous rooms
Review 77:Cleanliness was great...very clean rooms Staff was great and the location very good. Liked the access to the Mexican restaurant.
Review 78:Very bright and no block out curtains, Wi-Fi was worthless, water heater went out so no hot water, no pay per view or smart tv, I home ipod player was broken.
Review 79:The bed was super comfy. Comped us an extra night due to inconvenience.
Review 80:Huge room, all white, very modern design with changing LED color lights! The bed was amazing and the bathroom was heaven! Double shower and SPA bath... perfect for a couple. Location is just in front of the London Bridge which is the best if you want to rent boat and/or go to the beach. Simply perfect!
Review 81:We had an unexpected amazing night at Heat. The Inferno room was a very fun upgrade for us by Allison who checked us in. This is a slower season but the weather and ambience were perfect. The room was so different but a great change from a standard hotel room. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the beautiful water and London Bridge views. Thank you!
Review 82:The large room, the balcony beautiful bathroom. Great bed very comfortable. The view of the river and London Bridge excellent.
Review 83:The hotel was very nice and they gave me a highly upgraded due to off season. Excellent value for this room.
Review 84:I was not given information about the wifii at check in. The check in staff were very impersonal and not really friendly.
Review 85:The location was great. The room was very comfortable and plush. I woke up in the morning and had my coffee on the patio watching the boats on the lake. It was wonderful.
Review 86:Noise. The barman enjoyed playing the music like a DJ for his own amusement. There was one customer at 11.30 pm and the music blared out, no doubt keeping many guests awake. Then at 7.45 a.m. the house maids started cleaning rooms with music, presumably off the tv of the room that was being cleaned, and shouted to each other over the music. It also appeared that the staff used the "disabled" car park spaces to park their cars in.
Review 87:Room was very boutique and spacious. There were plenty of parking spaces and the views over London Bridge were great.
Review 88:bathroom all in white like a hospital potential to be very noisy with outdoor dancefloor but nobody on a monday night
Review 89:view of the lodon bridge good terrace
Review 90:Unfortunately it 113° outside the AC went out in the suite and they put us in another suite which had no water hot water but management took good care of us again.
Review 91:Fabulous view canal and London Bridge they upgraded us to a suite. And management took very good care of us
Review 92:The maid surface was, in my opinion, very poor. I left a tip after the first night. No refill on toiletries, no coffee pot, no refill on coffee creamers, did not pick up trash from the unit, etc. Did however take the tip. When reserving the room on line, there were a lot of pictures of the rooms, which I thought I was getting. I felt like I was a little short changed when seeing the actual room.
Review 93:Location of the hotel. The bed was very nice. The view was nice.
Review 94:We stayed in the inferno luxury suites at lake level, no wi-ficonnection. We stayed on friday-saturday, dj plays tecno music til 02.30
Review 95:Awesome suite, 240 mt3, design, and comfort
Review 96:No pool.
Review 97:I loved the location. We had the best view anyone could have. There was a power outage when we arrived so amenities were limited but I would come back.
Review 98:Perfect Location
Review 99:Very modern building and great location.
Review 100:Breakfast bar would be nice
Review 101:Fabulous location overlooking the channel and bridge
Review 102:Jacuzzi didn't work. Issue with Coffee maker.
Review 103:location
Review 104:Great views of London Bridge
Review 105:staff not eager to satisfy, dark parking
Review 106:The room was absolutely fabulous!
Review 107:Loud music until late hours. A spot for young party go-ers. Poor lighting and one day staff not helpful at all.
Review 108:Location
Review 109:They were out of sugar and cream for the room for an entire week.
Review 110:noise in morning outside door
Review 111:the bed the jacuzzi tub the view inferno suite
Review 112:noisey
Review 113:Drink prices
Review 114:Loved the location, the bridge, the weather and view. Would stay again on our next trip to the States
Review 115:Noise level from outside bar and the Jacuzzis in the bathrooms were loud.
Review 116:View from hotel room was beautiful!
Review 117:The coffee maker did not work and room layout was a little odd.
Review 118:B
Review 119:Nothing to do or see other than the view of the bridge and a couple of bars. It was out of season so it was quiet.
Review 120:Very comfortable beds
Review 121:Awesome view from room...Amazing beds !
Review 122:Luxury room
Review 123:Electrical configuration , it took a while to work out the light switches.
Review 124:Free upgrade to suite.
