Review 1：The temperature in the room was cold and the wall heater was not working. There was no way to manually adjust the temp to make it warmer. It was difficult to sleep because of the cold. :(

Review 2：Friendly staff, great location, clean and nice rooms. Very comfortable bed.

Review 3：For a 5 day liesure stay there was extremely limited storage for clothes and belongings. No bed side cabinet, wardrobe, desk drawers or anything like that. Simple hanging space and limited shelves just inside door. No real private/personal storage in the bathroom.

Room 408 at the back of hotel had a nice view of the cathedral and was away from the town square and hotel function rooms, so nice and quiet, especially the weekend before Christmas. Good sized room safe. Very good breakfast. Bishops Arms provided a good first night meal until we found our way around town. Good room temperature control once understood - no instructions in room. Free coffee in the lobby. 4 minute walk to Stora Gatan for bus to airport (no. 3 Pink) or 7 minutes to the rail station. Room clean and fresh, but rather bare in the Scandinavian style. Our third visit to Vasteras and first time at this hotel. Would definitely use again.

Review 5：Renovations guy decided to start banging nails into the wall at 7:30 in the morning. This was really not to my liking.

My supplementary night I have decided paying with Swedish maestro seb bank, they told me that they have changed the machine so not working anymore with maestro cards, I was asked to go and withdraw money in order to pay... I was disappointed all 11 days that I spent there

Chaos during check in, there were 3 people helping one family, you would not know where to stand to get help. 2. building is old and worn out, you can see crakes and old holes here and there on the walls and floors. 3. The wash basin was old with cracks. 4. Shower room was small i kept hitting the shower door while washing, which irritates me allot. 5. Toiletries are not available apart from the basics, if you would need more stuff like shaving cream ..etc you would have hen to call the reception. As 4 starts hotels theses things should be available. There is no convenience if you would call for every simple detail. There were just 6 hand tissues left! 6. No way to regulate the room temperature 7. Wifi was not available as stated, couldn’t get the hotel network on my iphone To sum up to be a 4 star hotel convenience and tidiness is very necessary. I would NOT reserve again at thins hotel.

Review 101：The bedroom and breakfast room were far too hot. There is no air conditioning and the windows of the bedroom cannot be opened beyond a crack. A small noisy fan was supplied. This is really not good enough for a hotel of this standing. The windows of the breakfast room could be opened wide, but there was no retainer so any small wind would blow them closed.

Review 106：Das Hotel sieht auf der Homepage einiges besser aus, als in Wirklichkeit. Die Aussenfassade hätte dringend eine Renovation nötig und ist insgesamt keine 4 Sterne wert. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, jedoch war das Geschirr oftmals nicht ganz sauber. Ansonsten ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, aber eben nicht Elite oder 4 Sterne.

Review 108：There was a big need for a refurbishment of the bathroom. The handbasin, for example, was broken and stained and should probably have been replaced years ago. Would not be acceptable even at a 2 star hotel.
