Review 1：Our wedding had to be rescheduled due to my daughters terrrace room not ready. Very long waits to talk to staff for help.

Review 2：Prior memories of other visits. We experienced many changes, that were not expected.

Review 3：Staff was friendly enough, but no hotel info given at check in; ie- pool, restaurant/bar hours, how/where to get pool towels, etc. No towels ever available at pool- waited two hours first thing in the morning for them to bring out towels. Also, not enough pool chairs!! No Privacy tag on room door, requested at front desk and never got one. They said they'd "put in the computer" that we did not want housekeeping that day and they came anyway which was annoying; not a horrible thing but we left out many valuables that we would not have if we knew they were coming in anyway after requesting privacy. Know that this is Daytona Beach Shores not Daytona Beach (hence the price) so it is not within walking distance to anything, quite a ways down the road from main attractions- 5 1/2 miles from boardwalk

Review 5：Grounds area and outside dining area was dirty. Moldy. Never towels. Trash full. Towel bin overflowed to ground and stayed for hours. Some staff seemed miserable. Lazy. Couldn't get service. Had to ask twice while sitting outside lounge. Had really gone down since last year. Chairs were moldy. Umbrellas moldy. Trash on pool deck. Staff walked past and didn't pick up. Wasn't a luxury resort anymore.

Review 11：The poor balcony was the worst I have ever had. It was behind a wall and near loud traffic and I could barely see the ocean. Viewed the parking lot mostly. We also did not have room cleaned until we called to complain at 4 pm. ?

Review 15：Bed room sheets were very stained from chemicals used for cleaning, I figured, but at first it looked like some thing else. And getting in after 10 o'clock, tired and exhausted from a long trip.Did not help when we had to wait for fresh bed sheets before lying down.

Review 18：Room had large room width patio doors, direct views over the ocean. Large room and comfy bed. Hotel has pool, cabanas, bars and direct access to the beautiful white sandy beach. Lovely watching the birds along the waters edge, which you can do for mile after mile. Valet service was excellent.

Review 21：Check in person was not that warm and friendly, Valet people were a little rude on our arrival telling my husband to move the car since we weren't using the Valet to park, not the best first impression. The fact that the elevator wasn't working in the parking lot was crazy, apology sign was not helpful. Walking up 3 flights of stairs with stuff did not leave the best first impression.

Review 22：The location - next to the Top of Daytona Restaurant, nice beach area. Rooms were nice, we had a beach front which was great, good breakfast buffet. My husband enjoyed working out in the gym, nice size pool, good music. We had a good lunch at the Azure restaurant.

Review 25：Room temp was to warm and menu items limited by restaurant remodel. Parking decks were in need of repair , stairways and other infrastructure needed a little TLC as were scattered and degraded by salt air conditions.

Review 33：The rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. The property was well kept with a comfortable but luxurious atmosphere. The outside areas were varied to accommodate all tastes and the beach was wonderful (and The weather cooperated)

Review 34：Lack of interest on the part of the check in person. Everything seemed to be a "oh well". Web site needs to reflect that private parking is actually valet, not private parking. Public parking lot had large flooded areas from the rain. Room was musty.

Review 37：The Staff was wonderful, convenience of the food at the Resort, it was quiet for being on Daytona Beach, the fire places out side. The Beach was not crowded.

Review 38：We were on the 10th floor and we could not get a elevator due to one being broken and the other two all of the wedding parties coming and leaving at one time. We had to walk 10 flights of stairs twice so we did not miss our reservations

Review 40：Wifi was very poor and sometimes it didn´t work at all. Stayed for 3 nights and didn´t get our room made up at all during the visit. Rooms getting to be a bit worn. For example, the door to fridge fell off and the shower fell off the handle when in use. The gym has old machines. Talked with the staff when checking out and informed about the housekeeping, we didn´t even got a sorry or a excuse.

Review 42：The bathroom shower had peeling paint on the ceiling and there was considerable mildew around the tub. Basic cleanliness was marginal both in the room and in common areas. There was a mysterious splash stain on the wall by the bed. Yuk!

Review 46：Front desk staff we dealt with could care less about us as guests. We had a very disruptive loud person in the room next U.S. And they laughed. Our room was not cleaned just bed made and our towels re folded. They never even replenished the coffee. And this was in one of their deluxe suites.

Review 48：The food... It was terrible. I ordered blackened fish for dinner that was not cooked. It was literally raw in the center. So, I had to send it back. I was so grossed out I couldn't continue the meal. The lunch served at the conference was unattractive and had zero taste. The chicken and beef were dry and rubbery leaving me with vegetables and some mashed potatoes. I was certainly glad I fInished the salad served for the first course or I would have been starving! On the upside; the coffee was excellent and the desserts were average.

Review 50：had to run water in the sink for a couple of minutes before it got warm, there were little tiny spiders near coffee pot in the bathroom that we had to kill nightly, lights wouldn't work in the room when you came in at night you had to find the switched under the lamps in the dark to have light.

Review 52：Hot tub on the pool patio was not working. They were not familiar with thier own gift registry services provided through the honeymoonwishes website they have. It took me the entire trip to explain it to them and it is a service they offer on their own website! Spa was smaller than other resorts I have been to. You have to book your services for the spa at a boutique in the lobby and the cumminication from the boutique up to the spa on the second floor is very poor. We had a ritual bath as a couple one day and I got a pedicure the next. Both services were not the type we had asked for when we booked and the ritual bath was nothing like the picture they have on the website.

Review 53：Resort was very nice. Food was excellent at the Azure. Chef was attentive to the fact it was our 25th Anniversary Celebration Dinner. Room was lovely. Resort sent us chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. Loved the patio area and the firepit in the evenings.

Review 54：We had a horrible experience at the hotel restaurant, Azure. We heard wonderful reviews on the hotel website so decided to make reservations there for our Valentine's dinner. We reserved a table for four several weeks in advance. We were seated at a table set for 2 and given 2 menus. There were four of us. We were seated outside without requesting it and the indoor dining area never filled up. It was a good 10 minutes before our waitress, Natalie, came to greet us. When she walked up to our table, the couple seated next to us made a big scene and got up amd left the restaurant. They still had their menus in their table. Obviously they had been waiting longer than we had to be greeted by a waiter. Our waitress said she would bring out two more place settings and never did. When our appetizers arrived, I took silverware and napkins from an empty table next to us. Natalie came to the table shortly afterward and said "I was just coming to take care of that," yet she didn't bring any silverware with her. I suppose she was just going to take place settings from anither table also? Classy. It was at least 45 minutes before our entrees arrived. The restaurant never did fill up So I don't know why it took so long for the meal. The servers were very nice when they brought our meals and realized we didn't even have plated to eat off of (our entrees were served on a platter). The food was good, but definitely overshadowed by the horrible dining experience. Our waitress was very unattentive, and we aren't demanding people. At a restaurant like that for the price we paid, we all expected much more. We would have had better service at Chili's. We ended up not going with our plans to eat breakfast there because of the ruined Valentine's dinner.

Review 55：The hotel was great. The location is fantastic and we were so happy to be able to bring our pet with us. Everyone at the front desk, valet, and housekeeping was very nice.

Review 57：TV not allowing access to menu screen, but had regular programming. Pricing by booking.com was not honored and had to pay much more. That stinks.

Review 59：On our 3rd morning the toilet in our bathroom overflowed. I called service desk and they had someone up to fix it right away. The guy said housekeeping would be up right away to clean up the mess. The entire bathroom floor was soaked and it eventually got to the carpet at both doorways. We left the room, came back 2 hours later, still not clean. Left again came back 2 more hours later and again not clean!! I called them and told them that it had been 4 hours, and how disgusting it was especially for the amount we paid to stay there and finally someone came to clean it. There was no I'm sorry, is there anything we can do to fix this, etc.. Customer service is definitely not an important part of this hotel staff!! Staff at Azure & the Tiki Bar were great but the hotel staff not so much.

Review 60：The room was beautiful and comfortable with a great view. We had a King Ocean View with balcony. Loved the fire pits, eating at Azure on the patio and direct beach access.

Review 67：Setting felt private with lots of little sitting areas inside and out. Fire pits on the patio. Meals could be served on the patio overlooking the ocean. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne. King room overlooking the ocean was very romantic, roomy and comfortable. The balcony was a great place to catch the sunrise.

Review 70：What a gem! It really has a resort feel. We loved the the King room with a balcony-Oceanfront. Loved the smoked salmon omelet for breakfast. The pool area was everything you would hope to experience on a relaxing vacation! I highly recommend and we will be back.

Review 71：I did not like the mildew under the rim of the bathroom sink, under the rim of the toilet and on the back wall facing the beach. It looks as if they may be updating the front entrance. They also need to update the rooms and the exterior of the pool. Also, self parking across the street should be free. They also charged for mini bar valet every day even though we did not use the mini bar. Finally, the resort fee should not be charged since they provide no nightly entertainment or daily activities. the enternet is not accessible in most areas outside of the room. Drinks were very weak and overpriced.

Review 83：The staff were all extremely polite and helpful. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The location is amazing. You are right on the ocean, and there is a little park next door with tables and benches, as well as grass, which was nice since we brought our dog.
