Review 1：HOTEL rooms was dated with minimal upgrades. ie: rust around vents, plastic counters. RESTAURANT was the worst I've ever been to. Very obviously reheated food from frozen. (we both had the sweet potato tortelli, it was a stick of butter with corn that had been boiled for 3hrs too long and ravioli that was mushy, Calamari for starter was chewy). They will charge you way too much for food that my dog wouldn't eat. SPA will charge you for not going, even though they won't tell you they will. They're not acredited with the BBB, but they have 7 complaints with them in the last 3 years all for money issues.

Review 5：It wasn't clear to me until arrival that the indoor pool is only for 16 and up (it was in the spa area). I was traveling with a young child and that would have been helpful to know beforehand. Also, the vent in our room made a constant clanging noise. Since we weren't in our room much until right before going to sleep, we didn't notice it until we shut off the tv and went to bed. It was loud and annoying throughout the night. But I mentioned it the next morning, so hopefully it was repaired promptly. Just one of those things that happens.

Review 6：Beautiful, very large room and huge bathroom. Nice facilities, although I did not see any of the spa area. We were only there one night, but enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly. I took my daughter to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium the next day and it was a short and convenient drive from the resort. Overall, it was a great place at a great price!! Wish we could've stayed longer. Had I not been with a young child, I'm sure I would've enjoyed the spa. Next time I'll take just the hubby :) We enjoyed it!

Review 7：very confusing layout of rooms into many segments with poor definition of where one is at. Check out was very poor...too few staff and long delay in billing breakfast....left without final bill

Review 8：Staff at check in and check out always get it wrong. This time they didn't have our booking then they sent us to a room that was already occupied. Then at check they tried to charge me again just like last time I stayed leaves a bad taste

Review 15：The spa area was very nice, wish I could have used it more. As it was we both only used it a little and I let my wife use it the most. I had breakfast with our baby and then waited out at the pool area.

Review 16：Not so much a bad experience but there was not sufficient lighting in room, air conditioning unit made a lot of noise, the sink and bathtub water went down the drain very slow. For a resort , things should be more up to par.

Review 21：Great location, at the end of a small town main street , and also within easy traveling distance to beaches, we managed 5 gym sessions during a 3 night stay. The facilities were great.

Review 24：Rudeness of snobby staff which isn't needed they probably earn $2 an hour. Made us feel very very un welcome. Spa isn't very nice, very outdated. Awful hotel.

Review 27：Situated in the nice, little and very friendly town of the same name we booked on the spur of the moment. We were looking to break away from a few days of St Pete brashness and couldn't have found a more contrasting place. The staff were excellent and we were able to extend our 11am checkout to 3pm before leaving for our flight home ($50). The rooms are very good though set in different blocks. Our first visit saw us directly overlooking the main pool (there are 3). The second time saw us in an equally nice room (though lacking a safe) with a view over gardens. The place is demonstrably more busy over a weekend. There were guests who had come for a weekend break in addition to two weddings so it seemed a bit hectic during theses times. The tiki bar was a focal point and provided limited bar snacks. Happy hour 5-7pm was good value. 2 for 1 on selected draft beer and wine. Randy the barman was a top bloke. The hotel restaurant has daily specials amongst it's offerings and the food and service was very good. For something different follow our lead and try Parts of Paris on 4th St (best to book a table). Also worth a try is Southern Fresh on 3rd St. For breakfast and lunch Paradise Restaurant, a typical diner, was very good value and offers a wide range of choices.

Review 28：Love the promt readiness of all the staff. The bartender in the Piano bar made a killer chocolate martini. We found the best restaurant Green Springs Bistro. And our breakfast was amazing on Sunday. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Review 40：The rooms in the tower are large with a wonderful balcony view. The renovation of the rooms and lobby is beautiful and the restaurant's outdoor dining area is so pleasant. The area is perfect for walking and biking.

Review 41：First room had a bad air conditioner that had a thumping noise that woke me at 5 AM. I called the desk at 7 and they said someone would come. No one showed until 10 and said they would need a day to fix. I was move but no one seemed to care I lost a nights sleep.

Review 42：Room had an odd smell, shower drained slow and coffee maker was dirty. Dust in some areas of the room. Outside water coolers (for fresh water to use in coffee maker) were empty.

Review 49：Wanted in line for over 20 minutes to check in. Had to carry luggage from car park to room. Room was expensive and didn't mind as was guaranteed a water view. Our view was totally obstructed by a huge palm against window, other window was a parking lot and closed tower. Very slow service at breakfast, each waitress seemed unwilling to assist another. We had wanted water during meal, but no one to ask. Received check when we had just been served meal. Then when finished waited 10 minutes for someone to take our bill/money. Did not like the Sunday morning service.

Review 50：Room was clean and had most amenities. Pool, tiki bar service was great and friendly staff. Also the inside bar was excellent, service wonderful. Dinner was great, service good. Grounds were very nice.

Review 51：The hall ways seemed small and cramped and dreary. Navigating the halls to find my room was harder than I expected. The door to my room opened out into the hallway instead of into my room.

Review 52：I loved the comfort and amenities in the room. It was very clean quiet and comfortable. the common areas of the hotel were very well decorated. A great price - I stayed for 1 night at $100 + tax.

Review 54：One of the cleanest and nicely decorated hotels that we've stayed at in a VERY LONG time. First class all the way. Beautiful grounds, great pool with a tiki bar. Room service was quick and food was very good.

Review 55：Gentleman who cked us in was pre-occupied while helping us, distracted by his previous "ck-in", we were unaware that the room we requested was not available because we asked if we could ck-in early. We were promised a "garden view" and ended up looking at tennis courts and out buildings...could barely see harbor for the trees. We never complained, until the next day...and we were told our requested room was replaced by our early ck-in room. Wish we had been informed, prior. Felt the hotel was a bit pricey for what was offered to us. Wanted to stay one more night to experience a nicer room, but all rooms were sold out due to 2 weddings.

Review 56：room size, beds comfortable, balcony, tv size, roomy bathroom, clean, close to shops, loved that we were there for the third Friday street sale, close to Crispers, free parking, Harbor views, pools, loved the little "make up towel"...early ck-in. Loved knowing the restaurant was right in our hotel. Spa prices were very pricey, as well.

Review 57：It was advertised as Clearwater beach, fact is the beach within walking distance you are not allowed on and Clearwater break is a 30 minute drive. When we were there the pool was closed as there was a pool party the previous evening and "something" happened. We took the children to the indoor pool where there was an over 60's aerobics class taking place, so no pool and no beach. It may have been bad timing on our behalf but it was disappointing anyway.

Review 115：The tiki hut staff was less than enthusiastic. The staff was friendly but few and far between and they seemed to be somewhat understaffed at certain times of day.

Review 116：The rooms are large and clean. The views are excellent. The location is perfect for a weekend getaway. Very close to town, which has wonderful food choices and shops. It's 1/2 from a park on the bay, which has lovely views and a great walking/jogging path.

Review 117：I always kind of resent the $16 per night resort fee as we don't use the spa facilities regularly. We do, however, use the pool and since we do pay the resort fee, I don't appreciate the difficulty it is to secure towels. We had to sign them out and were admonished that we would be charged $12 if we did not return them to the same table. A little heavy handed considering the next day the towel stand was on the other side of the pool with no one monitoring it. Go figure.

Review 118：We have returned to this hotel many times over the years. Safety Harbor is a lovely small town and the resort is wonderful retreat, very reasonably priced, and comfortable.

Review 119：Although your property is beautiful, I feel the staff is not warm and friendly. My feeling is, in such a beautiful resort, the staff should greet guests with a smile, courtesy and friendliness. I did not get the sense of any of those from your staff members who I came in contact with during my stay.

Review 120：Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a wonderful view of the harbor. Very comfortable bed and nice size updated bathroom. The main pool area was very nice as well. Your resort is absolutely beautiful and we would definitely stay there again when in the Tampa area.

Review 122：The Spa booked up fast so we didn't get a chance to use it. Theelevators have to be the slowest elevators in all of Florida. The priceof the food was very high as well.

Review 123：The location was perfect. We got there early so the room was not ready,but there was a music festival going on so we enjoyed the festival whilethe room was prepped. The pool was very nice.
