Reviews for Copperleaf Boutique Hotel and Spa
Review 1:Boutique hotel was nice, clean, and little details that made it stand out. Rye restaurant had excellent food and good service. Good experience all around, would definitely come back.
Review 2:Music from a morning charity run was extremely loud at 630 in morning they started setting up at 630 race wasn't until 8 didn't think they should start music that early not hotels fault just suggestion for the city
Review 3:Room was great comfy bed jacuzzi tub fore place all what I expected
Review 4:The room was quiet, nicely appointed, comfortable, centrally located to several places we wanted to go, and the breakfast area was stunning. Great omelet.
Review 5:Too noisy. You can hear everything in the hotel including other people taking showers or flushing the toilet above and beside us!! Staff at night was snotty and had an attitude! Lack of information on website on charging the 150% up front and the fact that if you didn't bring your i.e. Drinks or snacks your basically forced to use the overpriced minibar!!
Review 6:The cleanliness of the room and lobby!
Review 7:It would have been nice if information was available at the hotel such as the comedian that was across the street and the live music in park.
Review 8:The staff were very friendly, our visit was a last minute get away and we had no knowledge of the location surroundings or facility. We had a very wonderful time.
Review 9:If you like a soft bed, the bed would be great for you.
Review 10:Very friendly staff, great room and room amenities (deep soaking tub, bathrobes, fireplace, soothing noise machine), convenient location.
Review 11:The hotel is linked to an excellent restaurant next door. Breakfast is therefore optional... Which makes sense as there's also a fab coffee shop a few doors down the road. Our huge room and spa bath were fab. While the views aren't great the service, comfort and spa more than make up for this.
Review 12:The restaurant next door is superb. The comfort, quality and cleanliness and also general warm welcome were superb
Review 13:We asked for 2 rooms right next to each other. However we had someone in the middle of our rooms and they complained that we were being 2 loud. After the complaint it felt like the staff had it out for us.
Review 14:We accidentally drank a bottle of water from the bar fridge I replaced it with another bottle of water but was charged anyway.
Review 15:It was very Convinient for the event we attended!
Review 16:The lack of a in hotel breakfast is a real let down for a hotel that has so much going for it. Free breakfast would make this hotel outstanding, but even a quality paid breakfast would help it stand tall.
Review 17:This is a very comfortable, clean, well appointed hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful and coffee available 24 hrs in the lobby is much appreciated.
Review 18:I think the cost of room was excessive for what you got. Nothing extraordinary for the amount spent in regard to the room. No continental breakfast included. Average room, nothing special
Review 19:I liked the location as it was walking distance to our event.
Review 20:Needing change for the parking was annoying and the falsely advertised '24 hour' hot coffee, and an empty hot water thermos! We didn't even try in the morning. heading straight for a nearby coffee shop. Somewhat charmless for a boutique hotel
Review 21:The room was fine all around, with very nice towels and comfortable beds. Great location, easy to find. Morning desk clerk was cheerful and helpful.
Review 22:I could clearly hear people next door brushing teeth and then had to listen to the rhythmic headboard banging while the people next to us had sex. Not private at all. I would feel so embarrassed if someone heard me. I would expect that from a budget hotel. rebecca did not even ask how our stay was when we checked out. Would not recommend for the price.
Review 23:The decorating was wonderful. Bery clean place.
Review 24:Just because my wife did not get a good night sleep and slept on the sofa, because blinds did not darken room.. I would not stay again. For the amount of cash I put down just because of this.
Review 25:Exercise facilities were good. Enjoyed the whirlpool. Room was very clean.
Review 26:Room was very small, staff was crabby,I paid over 200$for a single night and still had to pay for parking. Not very happy
Review 27:There wasn't a whole lot about my stay that I enjoyed.
Review 28:Absolutely nothing. Only downside was hotel bar was being renovated, which was reimbursed by a drink coupon.
Review 29:Copper room was perfect. Hot tub a plus, with a great night atmosphere surrounding the hotel.
Review 30:Cost
Review 31:We loved our stay at the Copperleaf. We stayed on our 25th Anniversary. The staff was wonderful and room and hotel itself was beautiful! Alittle expensive but worth the extra money. Peaceful and private..
Review 32:Room was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Only (minor) complaints : we could hear the tub filling from the room over; we had a corner room right off of College St. so we could hear some loud partying one night. The sleeping sounds machine (provided by Copperleaf) helped with that issue. Overall a very nice stay.
Review 33:A bit pricey, but it was a festival weekend.
Review 34:Classy boutique hotel. Friendly staff, very nice suite. We enjoyed the lobby bar. The breakfast (included) was decent, nothing special.
Review 35:The only down side to this hotel is the parking situation. The parking ramp, which is actually conveniently located right next to the hotel, is city-owned and does cost $2.00 to enter (no cost to leave). You will need the cash (no credit cards) to enter the parking ramp each time. For us, this was not a major problem, since we were only in Appleton for 2 days, and did not have to drive any place--only walked to where we wanted to go.
Review 36:Very comfortable, spacious room. Bubble tub(whirlpool) was wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Had no problem hooking up to the WI-FI, which was a necessity for me. The breakfast was very tasty and had a good variety of foods. We would highly recommend this hotel!
Review 37:A little pricey for the value, especially in the Rye Restaurant.
Review 38:Location close to so much to do downtown and nice room and nice hotel.
Review 39:No amendities (no forks or spoons really), expensive
Review 40:Clean, quiet, small
Review 41:friendly staff, spotless room and great location!
Review 42:It is in the heart of the city, close to the hops, and restaurants.
Review 43:Looking forward to lobby breakfast which wasn't there. Hungery child at 6:30 am and breakfast starting at 7:30
Review 44:Noisy air con, night reception staff poor.
Review 45:Assistants in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. Overall comfortable property.
Review 46:The over priced accommodations
Review 47:Pillows were best part of room
Review 48:cable out...pull out sofa really bad...homeless pan handling

Review 58:not having a pool
Review 59:walking distance to downtown
Review 60:Breakfast better in radisson. You can go across the road
Review 61:Best in town
Review 62:Car park and 2 bucks per entry. Credit card does not work there. You need to have change all the time. Room card should work with parking machine with no fees or at least no cash
Review 63:This hotel is best in the area. Tried most of them and this is the one you want to stay
Review 64:facilitates are becoming worn and no restaurant on site.
Review 65:staff, helpfulness: needed a first aid kit and also transferred room location because of location to elevator..
Review 66:Great location, lovely rooms, pleasant breakfast area with nice options for that meal. We checked in quite late (after 10 PM on a Sunday) and helpful staff directed us to dinner options.
Review 67:There's was nothing wrong.
Review 68:Absolutely everything!! Did a girls getaway & couldn't ask for a better hotel. Dinner, bars, farmer's market all within walking distance. We're all coming back in summer for another stay.
Review 69:Arrived earlier than check in, staff had assigned us a room & it was not ready. 90 min later still not ready & we had an event to get to- wanted to change clothes, etc. Finally we asked could they switch us to a similar room already cleaned? They were able to do this.
Review 70:Quiet quality hotel
Review 71:Nothing
Review 72:Very pleasant downtown hotel. Nice room layout with a separatesitting/working space. In room jacuzzi (that I unfortunately did notget to try) as well as a (well done) fake fireplace in front of the bed.

Review 77:1St room was not a clean as I would expect and the spa was dripping. Wewere moved to another room, but had to waiting almost 30 min. To movenext door. I feel like the hotel is deteriorating from the 1st time westayed there (10 yrs ago?). I feel certain things need improving.Couches in suite were old and uncomfortable.
