Review 1：No vending machines on the floors, have to go to the bar down stairs every time you need something.

Review 7：Charged a fee for smoking we didn't smoke in our room. Harressed us to leave at 9 when check out was at noon. No wet floor sign. I slipped and fell in elevator and I'm pregnant. Totally disappointed in our stay. The housekeeper didn't ask if we needed anything.

Review 9：My family and I stayed here for a night when we moved from New Orleans to Charleston. When I booked the room for this "pet friendly" hotel not once was I alerted that there is a $75.00 non-refundable pet deposit! The room cost $119 and an extra $75.00 for a small dog is ridiculous! I was also double charged for the room and was told by a manager that it was my mistake so they wouldn't give me my money back. So with a double charged room, an obscure pet fee, and some mediocre food from their kitchen 1 night at this hotel cost me $400.00!!! I will never stay at any Hyatt hotel ever again!

Review 10：We booked our room a month in advance and then I personally called to verify that they had our info and that everything was correct. When we arrived, they made no mention of the fact that they didn't plan to honor our price that we booked. They also assured us that no fees were charged until we checked out. However, they charged our credit card $500 (our total rate was only $286) and made no mention of it. On checkout day, I paid our invoice in cash not realizing they had already taken the money out of my mothers account. They said it had to be paid. The invoice showed over double the amount I reserved the room for. They said they do not honor 3rd party booking sites. They have several complaints filed with the bbb and a staff that explains the unexpected charged with "I can't help you." They almost ruined my brothers graduation morning because we were trying to get our money back. Will never ever stay at a Hyatt again.

We got there around 9AM, the pancakes had been sitting a long time because they were very hard, the milk was warm and the coffee was very strong that even mixing hot water with it didn't help. We threw it out! We walked over to IHOP the next morning. Thanks.

Review 18：I arrived in my room around midnight, so once we got settled (me & my 2 kids), we seen the inside of the toilet stained as if someone just had a bowel movement, furthermore the outside of the toilet had urine stains on it. The only reason I didn't request another room was because me and my family had settled down and I didn't feel like packing again after all that unpacking after midnight.

Review 22：Comfort and style of room. Bed was very comfortable, and placement of office nook and bar in the room had good feng shui. Good quality of items for breakfast, good teas (TAZO). Everything was good quality. We are Hyatt Places newest fans :)

Review 84：I travel to Columbus often and the Hyatt Place is my favorite place tostay because of the spacious and clean rooms. The staff is friendly andhelpful when needed. The location is great for travelers withrestaurants within walking distance and Starbucks around the corner.

Review 89：Pricey; mediocre front desk staff; when I had an issue with my booking (my fault) and I asked the front desk host if she knew if the holiday inn express across the street was also sold out, she looked at me like "yeah, like I know or care to find out." A good front desk host would have offered to call the hotel to find out, especially knowing that I had no place to stay after thinking that I had booked her hotel for the night. Didn't care for her apathetic attitude.

Review 95：The management.....terrible customer service....right on up to thecorporate level. This stay has changed our opinion of hyatt as acompany. Long story short.....we travel all day and get to the hotellate(10:30pm)...my wife gets up at 5am and takes A....cold shower?? Shenotify's staff and they are very concerned and looking into it but mgmtwon't be in until 9am. At 7am I take a cold shower. We tell staff andthey are 'falling on themselves concerned'. They give us a # to callmgmt(tosha) later. My wife complains to mgmt that it is "painful" totravel all day, get little sleep and wake up to a cold shower. Hersstarted off warm and went to cold quickly....i wasn't so lucky. Theyoffer us $40 off for the night which would put our rate at $82....asnice as the facility is....it is not acceptable to pay $82 plus all thetaxes that go with it if we couldn't take a hot shower. All we wantedwas a clean,comfortable place to sleep and a hot shower.....afterall....that's why we opted to pay more($122pn) and stay at the hyatt forft. Benning graduation. They provided half of what we wanted andexpected from the hyatt. I also declined any discount so I could receivepoints on my 'hyatt gold passport' account. We thought that their offerof $40 was not good enough with no guarantee it wouldn't happen again,so we cancelled the next night's stay and went to the marriott.....moreexpensive(but recommended). By the way...we returned from the gradceremony around 4pm and were told that the maintenance man had gone inat 2pm(shows their level of concern) and there was hot water. I checkedit....it was luke-warm at best and expected given it's late afternoon inmid-august. Our decision to leave was easy.......unfortunately. I'll bereviewing my 'hyatt gold passport' membership status as well.
